An Ohio seventh-grader is accused of threatening to shoot a Muslim classmate he called a terrorist and a "towel head."

The boy threatened on Dec. 7 to bring a .40-caliber gun from home the following day and kill a sixth-grader he had been feuding with on the school bus, reported WHIO-TV.

The older boy called the Muslim student "the son of ISIS" and accused him of responsibility for destroying the World Trade Center towers on Sept. 11, 2001 — which happened before either boy was born.

A large industrial fire has erupted in northwest Portland, Oregon after a truck crashed into a train, causing a massive fire. Flames could be seen from afar and huge clouds of black smoke darkened the sky.

Six tanker railroad cars erupted into flames at an industrial facility in northwest Portland south of the in Oregon along Highway 30 early on Sunday with some residents reporting loud explosions in the area, local media reported.

A truck had crashed into the train, causing the fire. The driver of the truck died, The Oregonian reported, citing Portland Police Bureau.

Several fire brigades are battling the third-alarm blaze with crews from several agencies aiding with fire-fighting operations. The firefighters also called for extensive backup, requesting special fire-suppression foam from Portland International Airport, The Oregonian reported.

The firefighters fear that more explosions could potentially take place. According to the Portland Fire and Rescue service, the fire material is hot asphalt, which will take several hours to cool. The firefighters expect residual smoke and steam during this time and have called on local residents to stay indoors and out of smoke.

The shocking list of anti-Muslim hate crimes and bigotry continues

Islamophobia

Islamophobia is on the rise—here's the proof.

I've been updating a thread which documents attacks on Muslims, mosques, and people of color perceived to be Muslim, since the attacks on Paris. The thread has been growing at an alarming rate and I've decided that while I will continue to publish updates on Twitter that it would be easier to share and parse through if I created a one-page entry on my website. If there are any I missed, or if you would like to add your own, please contact me.

Comment: Very sadly and tragically for many, the sickness otherwise known as Islamophobia can only get worse. And we only have the US Government and allied proponents of the War of Terror to thank for it.

Chicago's mayor on the hot seat as thousands protest outside city hall

Rahm Emanuel
Rahm Emanuel with Benjamin Netanyahu
Career Democrat party member, former congressman, Obama White House chief of staff, Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel took office in May 2011 - reelected last April for another four-year term.

He's notoriously hard-line, neoliberal and pro-Israeli to a fault. The late Chicago-based Citizens Committee to Clean up the Courts chairman Sherman Skolnick called him the "acting deputy chief for North America of Mossad."

His father, Benjamin, was involved in smuggling weapons to the Jewish Irgun underground terrorist group (co-led by future Israeli prime minister Menachem Begin) in Palestine pre-1948.

Their elements were notoriously involved in bombing Jerusalem's King David Hotel (July 1946 - slaughtering 92 Brits, Arabs and Jews, along with wounding 58 others), as well as the horrific Deir Yassin massacre (April 1948), randomly killing up to 120 defenseless Palestinians mercilessly, including women and children, dozens more in continued fighting - part of the future state of Israel's genocidal ethnic cleansing master plan.

Emmanuel is a former civilian IDF volunteer during the 1991 Gulf War. It's believed he holds dual citizenships - a dubious status for any US politician.

Pathetic! Colorado bar evacuated after mic stand mistaken for gun

Police in Watkins, Colorado, evacuated a bar after a worrying call from a waitress that an armed man was on site. When they arrived at the scene the man was searched and found to be in possession of one (very deadly) microphone stand.

The waitress at Lulu's Inn made the call on December 11 after mistaking the stand for a gun, according to 9News. Her very embarrassing error resulted in armed guards being sent to the scene to detain the suspect.

Streets in the area were shut down and traffic restrictions put in place during the incident.

Comment: The public's hysteria is spreading like a virus and it is very dangerous. This waitress's paranoia could have gotten someone killed.

Countering the fear of death by Islamic terror

danger, fears
I am not terrified of the terrorists; i.e., I am not, myself, terrorized. Rather, I am terrified of the terrorized; terrified of the bovine masses who are so easily manipulated by terrorists, governments, and the terror-amplifying media into allowing our country to slip toward totalitarianism and total war. - Dan Sanchez
Guided by talking heads, American armchair warriors spout vitriol, increasingly calling to either treat Muslims like Jews in the Third Reich or simply bomb them into oblivion — and their cognitive dissonance is glaring. These contradictions are evident not least in the paralyzing fear so many 'Mericans feel toward Muslims who courageously call for soldiers to do their bidding in the Middle East. Their crippling fear of Islamic terror, itself, is cloaked in contradiction.

According to an analysis by the New America Foundation, Islamic terror attacks in the United States have led to the deaths of 45 people since 9/11. While 45 deaths is 45 too many, the dizzying fear of Islamic extremism currently sweeping the nation is objectively overblown.

Considering Islamic terror killing an average of 3.2 Americans per year (45 deaths divided by 14 years) since late 2001, here are ten causes of death more worthy of their fear:

1. Television: TV might be linked to earlier deaths among those who watch more than a few hours a day, but more concretely, the devices themselves kill 176 people a year. Literally. They fall on people. That's 55 times more deaths than Islamic terror claims annually.

Comment: The populations of Western nations have been whipped into a frenzied fear of Muslims. These fears are being fueled by their governments and the subservient media in order to more closely control them and to sow discontent and divisions within society. All of which is being done to keep people from realizing that their real enemies are psychopaths who have risen to the top and who will do whatever it takes to stay in control. For any hope of change, people need to understand the phenomenon of psychopathy so they can unite against this real menace, rather than destroying each other and the world.

Heartless police chief resigns after shooting and killing caged puppy

Police Chief Andrew Spencer and puppy
Police Chief Andrew Spencer resigned this week after it was revealed that he shot and killed an innocent dog that was in a cage and meant no one any harm. To make matters even worse, he took the puppy to a firing range and killed it there because he did not want to deal with finding its home.

Spencer found the dog and managed to get it into a cage using a catcher pole. He then wrote in his report that he had planned to take the dog to a shelter where it would be "destroyed," but then he got another call about a car accident so he decided to do it himself.

The report said that he had planned to go to "the cheapest vet to destroy the dog at the cost of the city." However, the report continued "Due to the higher priority call and the imminent destruction of the dog, I decided it was best to destroy the dog and respond to the accident."

First U.S. flight of fancy new Airbus 350 Jet aborted by its computer

The inaugural U.S. flight of one of Airbus's newest aircraft models was supposed to be a big deal, showcasing the impressive new jumbo jet on its very first trip from New York's John F. Kennedy Airport.

Instead, it was spectacularly terrifying and embarrassing fail. The high tech jet's computer system aborted it's own takeoff — because it deemed the runway too short.

Journalists and staff were among the passengers on the Airbus A350 for the chartered Qatar Airways flight that was supposed to travel 12 hours to Hamad International Airport.

The airplane even had screens on each seatback via which the passengers could watch the taxi and takeoff as it happened. Unfortunately, rather than watching the plane soar to 30,000 feet, it taxed, picked up speed — and then came to a startling and screeching halt.

Swedish pedophile targets 40 daycares and only gets 6 years; 4 cases of rape, 20 cases sexual assault; and these idiots want to go after Assange?!

Child abuse

A Swedish court on Friday sentenced a male daycare (dagis) worker to six and a half years in prison for four cases of rape and 20 cases of sexual assault against toddlers aged one to three in his charge.

The 40-year-old man, who worked at 40 different daycares in the southern municipality of Kristianstad as a temp agency employee, pleaded guilty to the charges, a statement from the Kristianstad district court said.

The assaults took place at eight of the daycares where he worked from March 2014 until June 2015.

"The man sexually abused several girls during diaper changes. The girls were between one and three years old. The 40-year-old, documented the abuses himself with his mobile phone camera," the court said.

"The crimes are considered aggravated because of the way he carried them out, the fact that he abused his position as a child minder, and that he abused the trust he enjoyed," it added.

"Crimes like these are very rare," court spokesman Markus Nilsson told the AFP news agency.

The defendant also found guilty of one charge of abusive photography and one case of aggravated child pornography for documenting the abuses and saving the photographs on his computer.

The man, whose name was not disclosed, was caught in July when he sexually abused a young girl at a theme park where he was employed.During police interrogation he came clean about the daycare assaults and rapes.

Comment: Offenses like these are not rare. They happen all over the world and are covered up. Once upon a time, in a frozen tundra not so far away, people like this man were pushed off glaciers into freezing water.

Question

Are people waking up? Facebook's most discussed topics of 2015 are surprisingly devoid of fluff

thumbs up octopus
Facebook can tell us a number of things about the world around us, although sometimes those things blow up your news feed and take over your Internet experience. Whether it is the Kardashian family, including Kanye West doing or saying something ridiculous, or a political event or scandal that invokes conversation worldwide through the inter-webs, Facebook [and Twitter] usually becomes the hub of developing news stories where the public weighs in and decides which conversations turn into the talk of the day.

Facebook recently released its 'Most Discussed Topics of 2015,' and surprisingly the list has become slightly less like the lists of previous years. Check out the list below:
  1. 2016 United States presidential election
  2. Nov. 13 attacks in Paris
  3. Syrian war and refugee crisis
  4. Nepal earthquakes
  5. Greek debt crisis
  6. Marriage equality
  7. Fight against the Islamic State group
  8. Charlie Hebdo attack
  9. Baltimore protests
  10. Charleston shooting and Confederate flag debate

Comment: Keep spreading the gospel of truth. There's loads more zombies out there.
