"Based on the brand's performance, we've decided not to buy it for this season," Nordstrom said in a statement, adding that it commonly cuts about ten percent of carried brands and refreshes with a similar number of replacements.
The Ivanka Trump brand sells women's clothing, shoes, and handbags. The products were removed from the store's website on Thursday.
Nordstrom had already bought Ivanka Trump spring season apparel, according to a spokesperson for the brand, as quoted by CNN Money.
The brand has come under fire since Donald Trump's presidential campaign began. The online 'Grab Your Wallet' campaign, critical of the US President's administration, urges shoppers not to buy goods connected to Ivanka Trump or Donald Trump, as well as to boycott retailers selling them.
Shannon Coulter, who launched the campaign, has been tracking the brand's inventory levels on Nordstrom's website for the last couple of months.
In a message to fans of Sunny 107.9, President Frank Patterson of the Lake Keowee Broadcasting Group wrote that the station had been hacked.
"This is NOT our broadcast!" he wrote on Monday. "We at WFBS do not take political views! The FCC and WFBS are working to fix this situation ASAP."
Sounds like a joke, right? I did some digging and the headline is technically not accurate. The officer in question never gave the woman a cake, he just texted her this picture:
The problem here is that everything else is true. This cop showed up at this woman's work for no reason, harassed her, stole her drink and then tased her when she tried to get it back.
The lawsuit states that the officer "used his apparent law enforcement authority to intimidate, harass, and threaten [the] plaintiff ... about her personal life. Because Wohlers did not like how [the] Plaintiff failed to respond to his show of authority, Wohlers became increasingly aggressive toward employees at the apartment complex's office, including with Ms. Byron."Now, if you or I were to walk into someone's office, harass, steal and attack someone with a deadly weapon, we'd be in jail, facing harsh penalties. This cop, however, was never charged and quietly resigned from his department without any legal consequences. His department defended him, calling this a simple case of 'horseplay', as if this was two young children having a friendly tussle in a schoolyard.
Ms. Byron says that the officer then took a Sweet Tea that was sitting on her desk and refused to give it back to her. When she attempted to get her drink back, the officer tased her in the throat and chest and then jumped on top of her when she fell to the ground, placing his knees firmly on her chest and forcefully removing the taser prongs.
Can you imagine the mentality of someone who can conflate horseplay with assault? How about imagining them having the authority to exercise deadly force on civilians? Reducing assault to 'horseplay' demonstrates the way in which accountability is sidelined, not only in this particular case, but across the US. Obviously, there's a serious problem here.
The 16-year-old, who was born female, said that staff at Hereford Cathedral School told him it was a 'phase' and he was 'attention seeking'.
The teenager, who wished to remain anonymous, said the £13,000-a-year school didn't take him 'seriously', despite being supported by a family GP as he began his transition.
Duncan Hicks went to the San Bernardino Sheriff's station last month to file a report but was met with obstinate bureaucracy and eventually threats.
Hicks was attempting to file a report with the department and had done so on multiple occasions without incident. Hicks told CBS Los Angeles this was his third time there and he also called once to file a few custody disputes with his child's mother. But this time, he says, the deputy refused to write his report down and then took it a step further.
Hicks was politely trying to explain to the deputy that his report was not stating the problem when the cop lost it.
"This is not explaining the incident, sir," said Hicks.
"K, Duncan. You know what man? I'm about getting tired of you and you're about to go to jail just so you know," barks the deputy, threatening an entirely innocent man.
"What am I going to jail for?" asked Hicks.
"I'll create something you understand? You'll go to jail. You understand that?"

Majid Oweida, 23, who prior to his detention was responsible for recruiting contestants for the TV show Palestinians Got Talent, was handed a nine-year jail term after hacking into Israeli military drones on behalf of the Islamic Jihad political party.
The district court of Beersheba city passed the sentence on Thursday following a plea bargain earlier this week. The Justice Ministry said Oweida had pleaded guilty to "various offenses against state security including membership of, and activity in, a forbidden organization."
Prosecutors accused the IT specialist of developing software that the terrorist faction used for years to intercept video footage transmitted by Israeli military drones. Oweida joined Islamic Jihad in 2011 and first successfully hacked into the IDF drones as early as 2012.
The transcript from court Thursday's proceedings, according to The Times of Israel, said Oweida has admitted to developing a program that would "hack into and monitor broadcasts of pictures from the skies of Gaza" by Israeli military drones.
Following a couple of failed attempts, the hacker penetrated drone transmissions "in real time... and full HD quality." The intercepted broadcast, authorities said, revealed "intelligence information about terror operatives active in firing and storing rockets in Gaza."

'It's personal': A friend of Kate McCann said today told of the family's fury at losing their eight-year libel battle with Portuguese detective Goncalo Amaral, who accused the McCanns of covering up the death of missing daughter Madeleine.
Kate and Gerry McCann said their eight-year libel battle with detective Goncalo Amaral, who claims Maddie died and they covered it up, had become deeply personal - and was not about money.
Milo Yiannopoulos was expected speak against "sanctuary campuses," which promised to protect undocumented students in wake of President Donald Trump's tough stance on illegal immigration.
In response to the violence, UC Berkeley Police have warned students to "leave the area immediately," as they are bringing in "additional resources."
Hours after a lockdown was declared across campus by police, many orders of dispersal, including several five-minute warnings went largely ignored.
IRS Agent Jack Vitayanon arrested on charges of distributing crystal meth in Long Island and Arizona

Jack Vitayanon was arrested Wednesday and charged with conspiring with others to distribute 500 grams of methamphetamine, according to the U.S. Justice Department
Ironically enough, Vitayanon worked in the IRS's Office of Professional Responsibility for 5 years. His job consisted of investigating attorneys, certified public accountants ("CPAs"), Internal Revenue Service ("IRS") enrolled agents, and other tax professionals based on reports of suspected misconduct.
Apparently, Vitayanon felt that his position of authority allowed him to escape accountability. However, he was wrong.
The criminal complaint against Vitayanon was unsealed in federal court in New York charging him with conspiring with others to distribute at least 500 grams of meth. As detailed in the complaint, Vitayanon conspired with others in Arizona and on Long Island to distribute methamphetamine for several years and recently negotiated and consummated the sales of distribution quantities of methamphetamine to undercover HSI special agents on Long Island.
When a Fed-Ex package bound for Long Island was discovered by authorities to contain hundreds of grams of meth, the receiving party proceeded to roll over on everyone — including Vitayanon.
'WAKE UP & JOIN THE RESISTANCE. ONCE THE MILITARY IS W US FASCISTS GET OVERTHROWN. MAD KING & HIS HANDLERS GO BYE BYE,' Silverman wrote.
Later she added: 'We're all gonna die sounds so dire but we are though (all gonna die).'
Trump supporters and conservatives were quick to tear Silverman's tweet to shreds, calling for her to be arrested for treason and even using anti-Semitic rhetoric against the Jewish stand-up comedian.
Comment: The 'left' really is showing its true colors. And what ugly colors they are. Military overthrow of a democratically elected leader? Who are the fascists again?

Comment: Why don't these 'wallet warriors' do something objectively useful, like supporting the BDS movement against Israel?
