Well, that's curious: Five Walmart stores across the country shut down on the same day due to 'plumbing issues'

Not just one, but five Walmart stores across the U.S. are closing their doors due to plumbing problems that, in some cases, will take four to six months to repair.

Those closing include locations in Livingston and Midland, Texas; Tulsa, Oklahoma; and near Los Angeles.

For the Brandon Walmart, I talked to Hillsborough County and Walmart to get answers about why these plumbing repairs will take so long and whether the issues are connected, but local customers are already skeptical.

"Why is it just plumbing problems? It's gonna take them six months to fix up the store?" asked customer John Mambrl.

Child Protective Services kidnaps children to protect them from kidnappers

kids walking
Remember the Maryland parents who were found guilty of neglect for allowing their children, 10 and 7, to walk around the neighborhood together but unaccompanied by an adult?

Yesterday those kids were just taken by CPS because they were playing at the park by themselves.

Comment: An ulterior motive in these CPS directed child abductions?

One in three teenage boys who experience sexual assault may attempt suicide - fear, stigma increase risk

The stigma behind sexual assault may deter teen boys from reporting it, putting them at risk of attempting suicide

Just in time for National Sexual Assault Awareness Month, a new study sheds light on just how serious it can be among teen boys, finding that one in three who experience sexual assault have a go at suicide.

"The stigma is often not addressed, it's a silent issue in society," said Dr. Laura Anderson, a licensed psychologist and assistant professor in the University at Buffalo's School of Nursing, in a press release. "Very rarely does programming address boys. It's often presumed to be an issue for girls. The results [pf the study] highlight the need to educate the public and develop preventive programming and support for male and female sexual assault survivors."

Girls certainly experience the majority of sexual assault incidences; only one in 10 victims is a boy, according to the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network (RAINN). But the effects of these crimes, which can range from unwanted sexual touching to forced penetration, are still serious and damaging. Boys might find themselves questioning their sexual orientation and sense of self; they might withdraw from interpersonal contact and feel alienated from others; and they have an increased risk of psychological and emotional problems, including depression, anxiety, fearfulness, and anger.

While these consequences may also arise in girls following a sexual assault, their influence on attempted suicide risk seems to affect boys more, according to the study. Compared to the 33.2 percent of teen boys with a sexual assault history who reported attempting suicide, only 27.1 percent of teen girls with a similar history reported a suicide attempt. Anderson and her team suggested the reason for these rates could be a result of stigma, shame, a possible gender role conflict if the attacker was male, and a lack of an open support system.

U.S. scholar Kevin Barrett: 9/11 was the mother of all false flag attacks

Image
The September 11, 2001 attacks in the United States have been covered-up by the FBI and senior US officials because it was the "mother of all false flag" operations, an American scholar in Wisconsin says.

"If people start looking hard at 9/11, the whole story is going to unravel and its going to be exposed as the mother of all false flag attacks and the most spectacular act of deception in human history and the FBI has been charged with covering it up," said Dr. Kevin Barrett, a founding member of the Muslim-Jewish-Christian Alliance.

The 9/11 attacks were designed to deceive in such a way that the operations appear as though they were carried out by Saudi Arabia, whereas senior US officials directly participated in the operation, Barrett told Press TV on Tuesday.

The so-called al-Qaeda terrorists who allegedly hijacked four planes and crashed them on September 11 were just "patsies who were falsely blamed for 9/11, they were set-up," Dr. Barrett noted.

Europe's brand new country: Welcome to the 'Republic of Liberland'

A Czech named Vít Jedlicka has declared himself the president of Europe's youngest country, which he formed on April 13 with the name 'Liberland,' and the motto "to live and let live."

The country is located on the on the west bank of the Danube river between Croatia and Serbia, on land which has been subject to a decades-long border dispute and therefore, according to Jedlicka, a 'terra nuillius' or no man's land, before the institution of his state on Monday.

President Jedlicka is in the process of writing the country's constitution, which, in keeping with the country's name, "significantly limits the power of politicians so they could not interfere too much in the freedoms of the Liberland nation."

TSA fires agents who set up system to grope men's genitals

Two Transportation Security Administration officials at Denver International Airport (DIA) have been fired for conducting a scam on male passengers. A male and female agent collaborated so the male could fondle the genitals of men he found attractive.

At some point in 2014, the male TSA agent told a female coworker that he "gropes" male passengers he finds attractive, and he asked her for help manipulating the system, according to law enforcement documents obtained by KCNC.

"He related that when a male he finds attractive comes to be screened by the scanning machine he will alert another TSA screener to indicate to the scanning computer that the party being screened is a female. When the screener does this, the scanning machine will indicate an anomaly in the genital area and this allows [the male TSA screener] to conduct a pat-down search of that area," the documents said.

Enhanced pat-downs were introduced by the TSA in 2010, and are "primarily used to resolve alarms that occur at a walk-through metal detector, if an anomaly is detected during screening with advanced imaging technology (AIT), or during random screening," according to the agency's blog. Pat-downs are conducted by same gender officers.

Chicago to pay $5.5 million for decades of torture during police interrogations

The city of Chicago says it will pay $5.5 million to compensate victims who were tortured by law enforcement under the administration of a former top cop.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel said on Monday that he is endorsing a proposed deal that establishes a $5.5 million reparations package, which the Windy City will make available to people who suffered in the 1970s and 1980s under former police commander Jon Burge and his officers.

An internal review determined in 1993 that Burge had used torture, including electric shock, mock executions and suffocation, during interrogations carried out by the Chicago Police Department on his watch starting in 1972. Four death row inmates who later said they falsely confessed during those sessions have since been pardoned, and the city believes that more than 100 people in all, mostly African-American men, were subjected to unlawful treatment during a nearly two-decade span.

Comment: While Burge's actions are now rightfully being seen as a disgrace, the victims and families have had to fight for decades for this recognition. It's equally disgraceful that Chicago spent over $120 million trying to cover-up and sweep under the rug such inhuman and deplorable treatment. Rahm Emanuel's fund is long overdue, but his previous stint as Obama's Chief of Staff indicate he's not as concerned over torture as it would seem.

This case serves as a reminder that the rampant police brutality we're seeing today didn't come out of nowhere. There's a long history of systemic police barbarity and cover-up, and it's just now so immense that the cockroaches are coming out in the sunlight.

Jodia Arias sentenced to natural life in prison with no chance of parole

Jodi Arias surprised the court at her sentencing hearing Monday when she admitted for the first time that she "remembered the night I put the knife in Travis' throat."

During her first trial, she insisted that she was in a fog and didn't remember anything after she shot Travis Alexander, who she claimed was charging at her in a rage. She slit his throat, she said Monday, because he was still attacking her.

But it was no surprise that Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Sherry Stephens sentenced Arias to natural life in prison, meaning she will have no possibility of release.

The murder was savage, and Stephens said she felt Arias had planned it out. It was cruel, the judge said, and a jury had found it so. Furthermore, she said, it had caused financial and emotional hardship for Alexander's family.

So ended 2 1/2 years of speculation, anger, titillation, harassment, spectacle and social-media hysteria since the first of Arias' trials began in January 2013.

The prosecution wanted death.

But two consecutive juries were unable to reach a unanimous death verdict; in the second trial, it came down to a single vote for life.

Mother charged for hosting party for her 16-year-old daughter - Provided drugs, alcohol and slept with multiple teens

Rachel Lynn Lehnardt
An Evans mother was arrested Monday accused of hosting a party with drugs and alcohol for her teenage daughter and her friends.

Rachel Lynn Lehnardt, 35, was charged with two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

An Augusta woman told authorities Saturday that she was recently appointed as Lehnardt's sponsor through Alcoholics Anonymous and Lehnardt told her about a recent incident at her home, according to a Columbia County Sheriff's Office incident report.

Lenhardt said her children were with their father when her 16-year-old daughter texted asking if she could have friends over "to party," according to the report. She agreed and allowed her daughter and her friends to drink alcohol and smoke marijuana in her home.

The woman said Lehnardt continued to describe the incident stating she played naked Twister with the teens and had sex with an 18-year-old and her daughter's 16-year-old boyfriend, according to the report. The woman said Lehnardt also claimed she showed photos of herself and her boyfriend having sex and other pornographic material to her daughter.

Lehnardt was released from the Columbia County Detention Center after posting a $3,200 bond, according to jailers.

Comment: Another sign of the total decline of society in the U.S. Most would find her actions unthinkable. But in the current reality, it's just another day in the ponerized society of the USA.
