The suspect is considered to be a Romanian national, who also has a Moldovan citizenship, according to the Bulgarian National Radio.
The media outlet noted that the Interior Ministry had so far declined to comment on any information related to the case.
Earlier in the day, the BTA news agency reported that Bulgarian authorities were considering all possible versions of the assassination of Bulgarian journalist Viktoria Marinova and consider her murder an "extremely cruel" act.
The governor's press service said in a Tuesday statement obtained by Sputnik, that at least 10 were killed and 10 more wounded by the blast at the campaign office in the city of Lashkargah in Helmand Province.
"The suicide attack left 10 people killed and 10 more injured, including the parliamentary candidate [Saleh Mohammad Achekzai]," the statement read.
At least nine persons have been killed and 14 have been seriously injured in a blast at the Bhilai Steel Plant in Chhatisgarh in eastern India. The explosion at the plant owned by the state-run Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) took place at around 10:30 a.m. (Indian Standard Time), the police said.
"A fire in the gas pipeline of Coke Oven Battery Complex No. 11 of its Bhilai Steel Plant broke out at around 10:30 a.m. today. The fire broke out during a scheduled maintenance job. Nine persons have lost their lives and 14 are undergoing medical treatment for burn injuries," the Ministry of Steel informed, releasing a statement.

Swift took to Instagram to explain that she could not support the Republican Senate candidate Marsha Blackburn because of her record of voting against women and the LGBT community.
Swift instead endorsed former Governor Phil Bredesen, who recently angered Democratic voters when he said he would have supported Brett Kavanaugh for the Supreme Court because the sexual assault allegations levied against him lacked sufficient evidence.
