Cheeky Brits flag BBC & politicians after Metropolitan Police asks public to report 'extremist views'

An appeal from the Metropolitan Police urging Londoners to turn in people suspected of having potentially dangerous opinions has backfired, after the message was flooded with George Orwell references and satirical 'reports'.

In a tweet, the police force encouraged Britons to tell them their concerns "in confidence" if they become worried about someone they know "developing extremist views."

The message included a link to an counter-terrorism initiative called Act Early, which urges individuals to contact authorities if "someone close is expressing extreme views or hatred, which could lead to them harming themselves or others."

Britain's vaccine minister Nadhim Zahawi
Britain's vaccines minister announced Monday that the government will definitely not mandate the coronavirus shot, and that it has no plans to introduce immunity passports, or place restrictions on those who do not take the jab.

Nadhim Zahawi made the announcement after a petition with more than 324,000 signatures against the so called 'COVID passports' was debated in parliament.
"I think mandating vaccinations is discriminatory and completely wrong... and I would urge businesses listening to this debate today not to even think about this. We have absolutely no plans for vaccine passporting."
The petition states:
"I want the Government to prevent any restrictions being placed on those who refuse to have any potential Covid-19 vaccine. This includes restrictions on travel, social events, such as concerts or sports. No restrictions whatsoever."
Civil liberties groups labeled Zahawi's comments "a welcome return to rationality":

Sheriffs from Georgia have stepped forward to offer their help investigating claims of voter fraud in the state, which has been caught up in several controversies over the outcome of the 2020 presidential election and help President Trump reveal the truth.

In a Facebook post, Oconee County Sheriff Scott Berry revealed that he and other sheriffs are completely ready to offer the support of their offices' investigators to President Donald Trump. His office says it is looking into more than 200 different incidents of voter fraud across the state. Sheriff Berry wrote in a Facebook post:
"I write to offer the assistance of Oconee County Sheriff's Investigators to investigate or follow up on any reported or suspected voter fraud cases not only in Oconee County but Statewide.

"Media reports suggest you have over 250 reported cases of suspected voter fraud and less than 30 investigators. Mr. President, I am offering, at no cost, the services of our crime scene specialists and investigators to augment your own office's own capability to investigate said suspected offenses and report their findings to you.

"I suggest to you that calling upon the Sheriffs of this State to assist you is as easy as asking us. We stand ready to vigorously investigate voter fraud across this State and to ensure everyone's vote counts. Our citizens deserve to have confidence in the election process. Please call on me if there is anything we can do to assist you in resolving these reported allegations."
This man was not alone in speaking out against election fraud. In Butts County, Georgia, Sheriff Gary Long offered his detectives at no cost also to investigate "any complaints or suspicious happenings in our elections."

Arizona Senate judiciary chair is seizing ALL voting machines from Maricopa County for forensic audit

Voting machines used in Arizona's Maricopa County may now be subject to inspection following action by a state legislator on Monday to begin the process of seizing the machines.

The action by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Eddie Farnsworth came after a six-hour hearing concerning the election and the ability of Arizona residents to trust the results, according to KJZZ-FM. Republican state Rep. Mark Finchem praised the action in a news release.
"Since shortly before the 2020 election a number of my colleagues and I have been examining potential fraud pathways and illegal actions through which our 2020 election could become tainted. I compliment Chairman Eddie Farnsworth, Senator Sonny Borrelli (Senate Whip), Senator Rick Gray (Majority Leader), Senator Michelle Ugenti-Rita, and Senator Vince Leach. Each asked thoughtful, insightful questions that left no room for any conclusion that a forensic audit is about the only move that will restore constituent confidence in our elections integrity.

"The outcome of this hearing was a call by Chairman Eddie Farnsworth to issue subpoena's to seize the machines. A forensic audit is the likely next step. This is a huge development, and moves Arizona in the right direction to account for the many irregularities."
Farnsworth, a Republican, said that the issue is less about changing the results of the election than getting to the bottom of concerns regarding Dominion Voting Systems machines.

Farnsworth said his goal was to "try and see if we can reinsert some confidence in our election process. We hold and audit and we see what the outcome is," he said. "And then we can put this to rest." Subpoenas to seize the machines could be issued as soon as Tuesday, according to Farnsworth.

Comment: For context, Maricopa County is the fourth most populous in the US, including as it does the city of Phoenix. Almost two thirds of the entire set of votes for Arizona were cast in this single county.

Irrespective of the lack of media coverage, there is still tremendous grassroots pressure on state legislatures and courts to investigate voter fraud.

NYPD: NYC has freed thousands of gun suspects this year as shootings soar

New York in the shadow
Nearly 90 percent of suspects arrested on gun charges this year are back on the streets, which the NYPD says has fueled a historic spike in shootings that have left more than 1,756 dead or wounded.

About 3,345 of the 3,793 perps arrested between Jan. 1 and Nov. 30 for firearms crimes — 88 percent — were let go, according to department data. Just 450 remain in jail, the NYPD told The Post.

Some of the suspects posted bail, but judges were required to release others under new reform laws that prohibit them from setting monetary bail on some gun-possession cases. The crime became ineligible for bail in most circumstances under the Jan. 1 law changes, which mandate judges to release collared suspects, with no money down, on hundreds of charges considered "non-violent."

The NYPD has repeatedly blamed this year's stunning 96-percent surge in shootings on the loosened bail laws and early release of prisoners due to COVID concerns.

"We have made staggering numbers of gun arrests, taking guns off the streets from felons ... but when you look, three days later, four days later, those individuals are back on the street committing more gun violence," NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea said Tuesday while announcing shootings have climbed to 1,433 and are on track to reach a 14-year high by the end of 2020. By Thursday, the NYPD had logged an additional 18 shootings, bringing the total to 1,451, the department said.

Comment: Calculated ploy? Paying bails, in order to release gun-toting criminals back into the public to repeat their offenses, could be an attempt by the Left to to increase pressure to strip firearms from the general public and negate the 2nd Amendment right to bear arms.

Michigan State Police arrest celebrated Democratic official on six felony charges of election fraud

Sherikia Hawkins is facing election fraud charges.
Michigan State Police have arrested a recently celebrated Democratic Party official on several felony charges related to voter discrepancies.

The Michigan official who earlier this year received an award from the state's Democratic Party is now facing six felony charges for reportedly forging records and falsely marking absentee ballots as invalid during the 2018 election, reported The Detroit News.

Sherikia Hawkins, 38, city clerk for the city of Southfield, was arrested Monday after the Oakland County Clerk's office noticed discrepancies in voter counts while certifying absentee ballots from Southfield. State police investigated and found that records had been altered so that nearly 200 voter files were improperly listed as invalid. Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson said in a statement:
"Our elections are the foundation of our democracy, and under my and Attorney General [Dana] Nessel's administration there will be no tolerance for any actions that undermine that foundation — anywhere, anytime, by any person or official."
According to court documents, Michigan police found that 193 absentee voter files were changed in the city's computer system to say they either had no signature or no return date, when they had both valid signatures and return dates. Police stated that after Oakland County Election Director Joseph Rozell found that Hawkins had submitted altered reports, his staff found the original ones in a trashcan at the election division office. Benson insisted that the alleged fraud did not affect the outcome of the election.

At least five people have been arrested during twin, unauthorized anti-lockdown demonstrations in The Hague and Rotterdam as Prime Minister Mark Rutte announced the latest swathe of restrictions during a televised address.

The protest in The Hague started at 7:00 pm as Prime Minister Mark Rutte addressed the nation, announcing the new hard coronavirus lockdown.

Protesters whistled, shouted and banged pots and pans throughout the address, with the noise filtering through onto the televised stream. The Hague Mayor Jan van Zanen ordered police to disperse the illegal protest at which point two arrests were made for failure to comply.

Marvel making Star-Lord bisexual is a vindictive dig at Chris Pratt's Christianity from a dying comic book industry

Marvel Comics' retcon of the character Star-Lord is virtue-signaling nonsense that will sell no comics, shows how the industry has no new ideas, and is simply another woke jibe at an actor who happens to be Christian.

Chris Pratt is currently one of the biggest names in Hollywood. He has a net worth of around 60 million dollars, has starred in some of the biggest movies of the last ten years, and is pretty well loved by most folks out there. He is known as a non-denominational Christian, but largely stays away from political talk. However, this hasn't stopped him from being targeted by the woke mob. In fact, they appear to hate him.

Most people know that the most famous character Pratt has portrayed is space adventurer Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, from Marvel Comics. Pratt's performances made an obscure D-list character much more relevant. However, the publisher has now made a change to the character: Star-Lord, previously known for being a womanizer, is now apparently bisexual and polyamorous. Had he shown himself to be either of those in previous comics? No.

Forcing the sick and elderly to die alone is crueler than COVID-19

One year ago today, my father died following a 10-year battle with cancer. Our family's final weeks with him likely mirrored those of many other families. With a new wave of COVID-19 lockdowns beginning, however, I feel compelled to share our story because that journey convinces me that we, as a nation, are subjecting the dying to physical and psychological torture in the name of fighting a pandemic.

Caring for Family

I'm not sure when my father was first diagnosed with cancer because he didn't tell anyone. He didn't need to at the time because his cancer, called myelofibrosis, is a slow-progressing kind that can go without symptoms for years. Likely caused by his 30-some years spent in a garage teaching young adults auto mechanics at a technical college, this rare blood cancer finally advanced enough about five years ago to force my parents to move to a senior facility a mile from my older brother's home.

Fed up: Newsom recall gains steam as Californians fume over Democrat governor's pandemic actions

California Governor Gavin Newsom
"You just can't underestimate the depth of people's anger," said Susan Kennedy, a former top California gubernatorial aide

The recall campaign targeting Gov. Gavin Newsom is looking less like a long-shot bid, as Californians show signs of increasing dissatisfaction with how the Democrat is handling the coronavirus pandemic.

"The recall is halfway there," Orrin Heatlie, who is leading the effort, recently told local TV station KPIX-TV.

Heatlie, a retired sergeant with the Yolo County Sheriff's Office, said 820,000 people have already "weighed in" on the issue and predicted at least 820,000 more will do the same in the next couple of months.

Comment: Good on the citizens of California for taking a stand, especially its county sheriffs.
