Pop psychologist Jordan Peterson's ideas have been branded 'hate speech' by his publisher's tearful employees, even though his books pay their wages. No doubt they'd prefer their company to publish feminist bilge like I Hate Men.

For those inclined towards self-help, there are shelves packed with books on the meaning of life, and controversial psychologist Jordan B Peterson is about to add to them with his new work Beyond Order: 12 More Rules for Life, out next March.

Oh! The gnashing of teeth, the tearing of hair and heart-rending wailing that has caused. And that's just from those who work at his publisher.

The Canadian clinical psychologist and professor of psychology at the University of Toronto already puts the liberal media in a tailspin. 'How dangerous is Jordan B Peterson, the rightwing professor who 'hit a hornets' nest'?', asked The Guardian. 'Jordan Peterson, Custodian of the Patriarchy' claimed the New York Times. These are typical of the headlines that greeted his 2018 multi-million selling 12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos.

And now there's more. Having announced the pending publication of his new book, publishing company Penguin Random House Canada then immediately held a forum, which "provided a space for our employees to express their views and offer feedback." Bad idea.

The Post Millennial can report the verified identity of one of the masked Antifa militants involved in pepper-spraying people at a pro-police protest in Portland last week.

Isabel Rosa Araujo, formerly known as Philip Vincent Haskins-Delici, is a 35-year-old Portland-based transsexual Antifa militant with a history of extremism. Araujo was part of a group of around 20 Antifa in black bloc who confronted a small conservative pro-police rally last Thursday afternoon in downtown Portland. The two sides argued with each other outside the Justice Center before Araujo, who was wearing a gas mask, used bear mace against one of the right-wing protesters. She was not arrested for assault.

Though this was the latest incident involving Araujo, she has a long history of far-left extremism that once caught the attention of federal authorities. Originally from New Jersey and a one-time Philadelphia resident, Araujo is a prominent Antifa militant in Portland known for creating propaganda drawings and her participation in protests.

A Bloomberg reporter gushing over president-elect Joe Biden's socks had social media seething as many suggesting the media establishment deserved the hate thrown its way for posting such transparently partisan dreck.

Posting a close-up of the Democratic president-to-be's legs and feet, Jennifer Epstein, whose bio describes her as a political reporter at Bloomberg "covering the Biden transition," enthused about Biden's "dark blue socks adorned with lighter blue dogs," helpfully reminding her readers that former president George H.W. Bush was also known for his whimsical footwear.

While she accompanied the vapid comment with a semi-apology - "there are plenty of more substantive things to tweet about but we can have some fun sometimes too" - Epstein was shredded on Twitter for almost literally licking Biden's boots.

Most of the responses focused on the deep gulf between warm, fuzzy coverage of Biden and journalistic Trump Derangement Syndrome.

In its first court victory, a Nevada judge has agreed to let the Trump campaign present its evidence that fraud and illegalities plagued the state's election, enough to reverse Joe Biden's win and set an example for other state challenges.

According to Trump officials, the judge set a Dec. 3 hearing date and is allowing 15 depositions. What's more, the campaign plans to present its evidence that could result in the rejection of tens of thousands of mail-in ballots in Democratic Clark County where Biden ballots outnumbered Trump ballots by 91,000 in unofficial results.

"BIG news in Nevada: a Judge has allowed NV Republicans to present findings of widespread voter fraud in a Dec. 3rd hearing. Americans will now hear evidence from those who saw firsthand what happened — a critical step for transparency and remedying illegal ballots. Stay tuned," White House chief of staff Mark Meadows tweeted.

Canadian PM Justin Trudeau has been duped by Russian pranksters pretending to be Greta Thunberg, commiserating with her about geopolitics and world leaders, and promising to introduce her to Terrance and Phillip.

Pranksters Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov, also known as Vovan and Lexus, connected in a 10-minute phone call with Trudeau in January, after a Ukrainian airliner was shot down in Iran. A recording of the conversation between Trudeau and a voice posing as the acclaimed child environmentalist was posted to Vovan and Lexus's YouTube account on Monday.

Trudeau tried to assure fake Greta that he was doing his best to "de-escalate" international tensions following the airliner tragedy. "I'm asking you to impact on [President Donald] Trump and NATO, so they will lead to the fact that not only the future, but the present will be stolen from us," fake Greta said.

"Indeed. We are balancing many different things in Iraq," Trudeau said. "There's an understanding that yes, there are real questions around the international community and the American engagement and their actions, while at the same time there is a recognition that in the fight against terrorism, in the fight against ISIS, Daesh, there is a need for international military presence, including the Americans, to ensure stability in the region."

Not since a monolith was found on the surface of the moon in Stanley Kubrick's classic "2001: A Space Odyssey" has a mystery object confounded the greatest minds of our generation.

Or maybe not.

The Utah Highway Patrol posted a photo to social media Friday showing a curious metallic-looking object found during a count of big horn sheep somewhere in the state.

Comment: The gumshoes over at 4chan were hard at work attempting to decipher the location, apparently using a series of photos to determine the solar azimuth, declination and elevation of the site to find the coordinates of the mysterious silver slab.

Prince Philip is an avid reader of books about UFOs and aliens. The Duke of Edinburgh, 99, has spent decades building up his collection.

His interest was sparked by his uncle Lord Mountbatten, who wrote an official report about an alien in a silver spaceship landing on his estate.

Philip spent last summer reading The Halt Perspective, revealing the inside story of Britain's Rendlesham Forest incident.

Troops at two US airbases in Suffolk witnessed strange bright lights for three nights running from December 26 1980. Officers carried out sorties and one even claimed to have got close enough to touch a triangular spacecraft.

The book was co-written by retired US Air Force Col Charles Halt, who was the base deputy commander at the time, and retired West Midlands detective John Hanson.

Following a series of Moscow raids, captured on camera, Russia's Federal Security Service (the FSB) announced the arrest of followers of Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS), on Wednesday. The terrorist group is banned in Russia.

Footage from the operation shows special forces entering apartments and detaining suspects. The images also show a homemade bomb being disarmed by a robot.

As explained by the FSB's Public Relations Center, the arrested parties planned to commit "acts of sabotage and terrorism in the Moscow Region." It linked one of the suspects to an already ongoing investigation in the Vladimir Region, east of the capital. Without giving his nationality, the security service described him as "Central Asian."

A CNN interview on why progressives are unhappy with Joe Biden's possible cabinet picks was cut less than a minute after it began, as the guest pointed out that one of the candidates had covered up a murder while in office.

Rahm Emanuel, a star Democratic fundraiser and the former mayor of Chicago, was floated this week as a potential secretary of transport for Biden. After the suggestion was met with a tsunami of anger from the progressive wing of the Democratic Party, rumor had it that a "less visible" position would be offered to him instead.

On Tuesday, CNN invited Jamaal Bowman, a progressive New York politician who earlier this year unseated 16-term congressman Eliot Engel in a primary landslide victory, to discuss Biden's transition and whether there was a "progressive enough" candidate to get his endorsement.

Comment: It's pretty entertaining to watch the progressive Left slowly realize that the man they voted for really doesn't care at all about progressive politics and just cozied up to them during the campaign so they'd vote for him. Now that he's (possibly) the POTUS, there is no longer the need to keep up the pretense.
