'Hot Doctor' Mikhail Varshavski has come under withering fire from his millions of followers after pictures of him ignoring his own advice by partying maskless on his birthday emerged.

Varshavski — who has found Internet fame as Dr. Mike — has been in the vanguard of stressing the importance of wearing a mask to stop the spread of Covid-19.

But he appeared to break all his own rules when it came to his 31st birthday party, for which he flew from New York to Miami on November 12 to celebrate.

A picture of Varshavski on a boat in Sunset Harbor surrounded by 14 other people — most of them bikini-clad women — has since done the rounds with his fans calling him out for hypocrisy.

LA Mayor bans 'unnecessary walking' as part of new COVID-19 restrictions

Democratic Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti issued a new emergency order Wednesday that bans unnecessary "travel on foot" as he warns the city is nearing a "devastating tipping point" in their fight against COVID-19.

"Our city is now close to a devastating tipping point, beyond which the number of hospitalized patients would start to overwhelm our hospital system, in turn risking needless suffering and death," Garcetti wrote in the order. "These unfortunate facts about the spread of COVID-19 in our City mean that we must resume some of the more restrictive measures we instituted in the Spring."

The order prohibits "all travel, including, without limitation, travel on foot, bicycle, scooter, motorcycle, automobile, or public transit," with limited exceptions.

Comment: This is true insanity! Unnecessary walking?! Maybe this string of mysterious jet-packers in LA have the right idea.

'And that no man might buy or sell': Welsh government to roll out 'coronavirus vaccine ID cards'

wales

The card will show which coronavirus vaccine people have received, when they had it and allow them to report side effects
People who have received a coronavirus vaccine in Wales will be given a card detailing the date and type of the vaccination.

The announcement came from health minister Vaughan Gething after Pfizer/BioNTech's Covid-19 vaccine was approved by the independent Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).

In a written statement Mr Gething said: "Those receiving a COVID-19 vaccination will be given a credit card-sized NHS Wales immunisation card which will have the vaccine name, date of immunisation and batch number of each of the doses given handwritten on them.

Comment: This information is already stored on our medical records, just like every other vaccination, and there has never been a need for an ID card before. This chilling move tells us that this is about normalizing the idea of some kind of 'vaccine passport', without which we will become 2nd class citizens - or worse. Wales has proven itself to be quite the testing ground for these totalitarian policies.

Comment: RT reports that UK Health Secretary Matt Hancock has agreed to have the Pfizer vaccine on live TV - anyone would think that they need to persuade the public that the vaccine is safe.

Lest we forget that there are many things politicians get up to nowadays that the average citizen wouldn't dream of doing:
'Sickening PR stunt'?

Hancock appeared on 'Good Morning Britain' shortly after the government announced on Wednesday that it had given the green light to the jab, developed in collaboration between US-based Pfizer and Germany's BioNTech.

During their discussion, Morgan volunteered to receive the jab live on television, suggesting that it would help relay to the general public that the vaccine was safe and effective.

"I'll take it with you, Piers," Hancock replied.

Morgan then proposed that he could meet up with the health secretary "anytime next week" and receive the inoculation "together live on air," adding that the stunt would be "powerful" and "have an impact."

It's probably a good sign for humanity that even after nearly a year of endless fearmongering and manufactured hysteria many citizens remain suspicious as to the governments motivations.

Hancock noted that "there's a prioritisation according to clinical need" for the drug, but that he supported the idea as long as it was approved by the UK's health authorities. However, he said that, as a "healthy, middle-aged man," Morgan probably wouldn't be a candidate to receive the jab in the first roll-out.

And the effects of the experimental vaccine on a wealthy middle aged man may be very different to that of a vulnerable person in a care home - a study of one of the vaccine showed that it was actually much less 'effective' on older people.

The proposal has split social media, with observers expressing a colorful range of views about the potential televised vaccination.

Many expressed support for the idea while pointing out, as Hancock did, that neither men were health workers or in the at-risk groups that have been given priority to receive the jab.

One popular theory was that Morgan was motivated by personal interest rather than public health, and the television host was accused of trying to "queue jump."

The on-air shot would be nothing more than a bad publicity stunt, others argued, urging the two "inflated egos" to stop making the health crisis about themselves.

The gimmick would be welcomed, but only if the pair were administered a truth serum, joked one snarky comment.

The Pfizer jab is said to be 95 percent effective, but some have argued that the vaccine's rushed development makes it impossible to know if there are any long-term adverse health effects associated with the drug.

Minnesota witness: Mentally handicapped individuals forced to vote for Biden

voter fraud
Stealing the elderly and mentally disabled vote is a well-documented and fraudulent election practice taking place across the nation. Specifically, voting "handlers" have been known to register to vote on behalf of these vulnerable citizens or force them to vote for the candidate they are representing.

On November 2, 2020, in Otsego, Minnesota, a retired construction worker, developer, and land investor made one such declaration.

In a sworn affidavit, this person witnessed "a busload of Severely Mentally Handicapped People who were forced by handlers to vote for Joe Biden." In great detail, the witness describes being at the Sherburne County Office and standing right next to a line of severely mentally handicapped people who were there for early voting, and watching them being taken, one by one, up to vote, with someone else (caretaker/handler) holding their hand and forcing them to make voting choices. The witness notes that "the caretakers were the ones making the voting choices for these handicapped people." They literally held the handicapped person's hand in theirs and marked the ballot for them. The witness was close enough to see they were forced to vote for Joe Biden, and indicated that many of them could not even hold a pen by themselves and appeared unable to make voting decisions.

For just $58! AOC's 'Tax the Rich' sweatshirts combine socialist slogans with a capitalist price tag

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is known for her fiery invectives against the billionaire class. But it turns out that 'AOC' isn't above a little capitalism of her own, selling 'Tax The Rich' sweatshirts online for a princely sum.

New York's Ocasio-Cortez is a self-described "democratic socialist," and probably the best known face of the Democratic Party's progressive wing. She's proposed hitting the wealthiest Americans with a whopping 70 percent income tax to fund massive environmental and social spending, and led a campaign to drive Amazon from taking advantage of generous tax breaks to set up its second headquarters in the Big Apple.

As of late, however, she's been engaging in a little capitalism of her own, selling tshirts, sweatshirts, and all manner of merchandise on her official web store. The latest additions to her line, on Twitter by Ocasio-Cortez, include clothes promoting the 'Green New Deal' and the cancellation of student debt, as well as sweatshirts reading 'Drink Water and Don't be Racist' and 'Tax The Rich.'

'Yes, we can - but no, we shouldn't': Radical leftists furious over Obama's claim that 'Defund the Police' is a vote-losing slogan

People take part in 'Defund the Police' protest.
The former US President has criticized 'snappy slogans' for alienating ordinary voters. Their irate response to his criticism is exactly why the left lost so much ground in the election.

If 2008 and 2012 are any evidence, Barack Obama knows how to win an election. Though I'm admittedly nowhere near being his biggest fan, I will say he has a talent for wordsmithing. Easily the most radical president that we've had in my lifetime, Obama was able to package all of his ideas under the banner of "Hope and Change." He defeated two seasoned Republican politicians because of it.

You would think that when Barack Obama comes out and criticizes bad slogans and messaging that people would listen. However, members of the progressive wing of the Democrat party seem to be offended by what he's saying. He specifically criticized the idea of defunding the police, and went on to discuss the issues with that kind of messaging:

Comment: If Ocasio-Cortez's goal is to make people uncomfortable, she's doing a bang-up job. If her goal is to win hearts and minds, and more importantly, votes, she should consider the advice Obama is giving. But ideologically possessed nut-jobs rarely take advice, no matter how sensible.

California 11-year-old kills himself during virtual class on Zoom as health experts warn depression is increasing amid lockdowns

woodbridge california memorial student suicide
An 11-year-old boy in California shot and killed himself during a virtual class this week.

Local authorities confirmed that the boy shot himself when his camera and microphone were off during a virtual class on Zoom in San Joaquin County on Wednesday. His sister, who was also home learning remotely, found him and alerted a neighbor and her teacher.

Authorities found the boy with a head injury and took him to the hospital, where he later died.

Comment: Is anyone surprised by this? Forcing children into confinement and only allowing them to see their peers and other members of the community through 'virtual' chat applications is a recipe for depression. We're likely seeing the beginnings of an epidemic if these lockdowns aren't ended soon.

No escape from our techno-feudal world

mind control by technology
The political economy of the Digital Age remains virtually terra incognita. In Techno-Feudalism, published three months ago in France (no English translation yet), Cedric Durand, an economist at the Sorbonne, provides a crucial, global public service as he sifts through the new Matrix that controls all our lives.

Durand places the Digital Age in the larger context of the historical evolution of capitalism to show how the Washington consensus ended up metastasized into the Silicon Valley consensus. In a delightful twist, he brands the new grove as the "Californian ideology".

We're far away from Jefferson Airplane and the Beach Boys; it's more like Schumpeter's "creative destruction" on steroids, complete with IMF-style "structural reforms" emphasizing "flexibilization" of work and outright marketization/financialization of everyday life.

The Digital Age was crucially associated with right-wing ideology from the very start. The incubation was provided by the Progress and Freedom Foundation (PFF), active from 1993 to 2010 and conveniently funded, among others, by Microsoft, At&T, Disney, Sony, Oracle, Google and Yahoo.

In 1994, PFF held a ground-breaking conference in Atlanta that eventually led to a seminal Magna Carta: literally, Cyberspace and the American Dream: a Magna Carta for the Knowledge Era, published in 1996, during the first Clinton term.

'Yes we can't?' Obama scorched after denouncing 'defund the police' as just a 'snappy' slogan that alienates voters

Former US president Barack Obama has been scolded, most notably from some of his own fellow Democrats, for commenting that "snappy" slogans like the progressive rallying cry to "defund the police" only alienate potential voters.

"You lost a big audience the minute you say it, which makes it a lot less likely that you're actually going to get the changes you want done," Obama said in an interview on Snapchat show 'Good Luck America' set to be broadcast on Wednesday, according to Axios.
The Democrat advocated a supposedly more pragmatic approach, saying, "The key is deciding, do you want to actually get something done, or do you want to feel good among the people you already agree with?"

The call to "defund the police" was popularized during the wave of anti-racism protests and riots, which swept the US following the killing of African American man George Floyd during the arrest by Minneapolis Police. Since then, it has been used by activist groups like Black Lives Matter and even some politicians.

It has been widely argued that the simplicity of the phrase "defund the police" might lead Americans to believe it's a push to disband law enforcement altogether. While in actuality, its proponents say it is a call for reallocation of some state funds towards social services like housing and mental health-care.

Lockdowns are serial killers. End them now

deaths per day chart

Comment: The following is quite possibly one of the most comprehensive articles published here on Covid-19, and sums a number of important points on the virus quite handily.

We are constantly told by our political leaders and the compliant media that a pandemic lockdown is absolutely necessary if we are ever to defeat the COVID virus. Mask mandates, quarantine camps, self-isolating, limited sociability, the stoking of public fear and panic, the shuttering of businesses and the attendant cratering of the economy have become, once again, the false solution to a politically ginned-up crisis -- déjà vu all over again. The trouble is: none of this works, none of this is necessary. Texas Tech professor Gilbert Berdine sums up:
"After taking the unprecedented economic depression into account, history will likely judge these lockdowns to be the greatest policy error of this generation."
Psychiatrist Mark McDonald writes:
"Not only have Americans become afraid, they have become infected by ... a pandemic of hysteria ... a delusional psychosis. A delusion is a fixed false belief contrary to reality. Americans today believe that we must keep our businesses closed, that we must keep our children at home, that we must wear masks over our faces and isolate ourselves from human beings in order to keep us alive. That is false. That is a lie. And it is killing us. It is killing us physically, mentally, socially, psychologically, it is killing our country, and it must stop."

Comment: Sadly, the lockdown propaganda and hysteria has already done its damage with many. The thought centers of the brain having been shut off only to accept more of the lies that have been so egregious and so damaging already.

However, for the small precentage of individuals who may still exist who haven't yet made up their minds completely on the subject, the above article might serve as very good primer for truth on the subject.
