News article about psychopathic bosses describes and provides ponerology education

I was surprised because I didn't expect to see the topic of psychopathy pop up in a hometown paper. I was even more surprised because I really didn't expect to see it pop up there in this fashion - not just generically, but as part of a headline offering specific guidance to help people consider whether someone in a position of power over them may have the condition. Ponerology had definitely hit the Detroit Free Press.

The article entitled "20 signs your boss might be a psychopath" [see below] is written by Michael L. Diamond and originally appeared in the Asbury Park Press, a local paper from the New Jersey city made famous by Bruce Springsteen. Asbury Park Press, like the Detroit Free Press, is a Gannett Company. So it appears that the story was taken from one local paper and then shared with other local papers owned by the same holding company. Thus, it garnered attention in various areas of the country, but did so by means of local outlets.

Diamond's story quotes Kean University psychology professor Richard Conti. In a previous post, I've asked "should kids learn about poenology in school? Well, although he doesn't use (and may not know) the actual term ponerology, Conti seems to believe that, at least at the college level, they should. According to Diamond, Conti is teaching his students about "psychopathic traits found in business and government leaders," a subject that could hardly be more central to the work of Andrew M. Lobaczewski, author of Political Ponerology: A Science on the Nature of Evil Adjusted for Political Purposes, the book most responsible for popularizing the term ponerology.

Comment: Throughout society, CEOs, media folk, lawyers, surgeons, police officers, politicians, military, the clergy...any line of work which boasts a definitive hierarchical infrastructure and affords a position of power over others, which may be wielded with relative impunity, is ideally suited to the psychopathic personality. Sharpen your powers of observation; sharpen your instincts. Remember, the brain of the psychopath, in particular the part responsible for emotion, is wired in a different way than most of humanity. To blend in, they fake it to manipulate others, while in reality, they are cold, calculating and ruthless ambition machines.

Subjected to 'constant' bullying, 16-year old transgender teenager commits suicide

Taylor Alesana, 16, reportedly told a school counselor of the daily harassment she faced, but did not find relief. She took her own life earlier this month.

Image
Taylor Alesana, a 16-year-old transgender girl in Fallbrook, Calif., who faced "constant" bullying online and in school, died by suicide April 2, reports San Diego TV station KGTV.

Despite facing daily harassment, Alesana tried to support and inspire other trans youth throughher YouTube videos, where she had been speaking about trans issues and giving makeup tutorials for several months. Reaching several hundred viewers each week appeared to be a joy to the teen, who also spoke of being lonely and losing "a ton of friends" after coming out as trans at Fallbrook High School.

In one November video for last year's Transgender Day of Remembrance, Alesana spoke out against the "horrible" fatal violence that faces trans people, and especially trans women of color, worldwide, saying, "One in 12 transgender women are killed each year. ... I myself am a transgender woman and that, to me, just breaks my heart." Alesana then gave her own account of living daily as an out trans woman, saying that she had just begun attending her new high school in Fallbrook, a town she considered "convservative."

"I go to school every day [and] I don't have many friends. I'm usually alone," she shared. "And if that's how my life's going to be then, hell, I'm just going to get my diploma and get out. Being transgender, for me, [means] I've lost tons of friends — tons. It's been hell."

"Being there [at Fallbrook High School], of course, means you're gonna [get] a lot of hate and some support," she continued. "Me, I walk into school ... and I put my headphones in. ... Because I know all the shit I'm going to get. Especially lately, I've gotten a lot of drama from the school itself."

Alesana had informed a school counselor of the harassment she faced, but nothing changed, North County LGBTQ Resource Center executive director Max Disposti told KGTV.

Comment: Teased, tormented and squeezed to a breaking point.

SOTT Focus: Rape Culture in America - How the system protects the rapists and fails the victims

Image
Dolce and Gabbana using an image suggestive of gang rape to sell to the public what is "normal".
Is Western society going through some kind of rape epidemic?

What passes for culture in the West, particularly in the USA, is a male-dominated culture where women are reduced to being disposable objects of men's desires. When it comes to sexual assault, it's likely that almost every woman you know has been raped, assaulted, or sexually harassed, at least once. Since U.S. culture invariably goes on to shape global culture, a large majority of people throughout the world emulate what they see coming out of this country. It's no surprise that the same degradation of values and lack of protection towards women is prevalent throughout the world. With psychopaths in power in the U.S., their own depraved inner nature shines through their heavily 'mediatized' behaviors and "values", spreading down and out across the rest of the world.

Unfortunately, the rest of the world is following right along with the psychopaths at the top; degrading, sexualizing, objectifying, and trashing women's bodies. We have turned into a society which protects, encourages even, those who commit one of the most gross violations that humans can commit. That should be something everyone is concerned with, yet if I go through just a few of the countless news reports about rapes in the past few years, what I find is a system that ultimately does the opposite of what should be done. Rapists are practically forgiven by judges and detectives, while women are cast as temptresses who "get what they were secretly wanting" and as liars who make up stories for cash and attention.

Cops trained to justify use of deadly force by saying they felt 'threatened'

When it comes to officer-involved shootings, the problem lies with law enforcement's training that instructs cops to say they felt the suspects were a threat, either to the officers or to the public, a retired US Marshal told RT.

Retired Chief Deputy US Marshal Matthew Fogg, who served as a law enforcement officer for 32 years, spoke with RT's Ben Swann about the recent spate of officer-involved shootings in which police killed unarmed suspects and claimed they feared for their safety or for the safety of others. He said the officers' training is to blame.

"The training says that, whenever you use deadly force, you have to be able to justify it. So to justify it, you have to say either I feared for the safety of myself or the safety of the public, and that this person was an extreme danger to either party," Fogg said.

Comment: Sure, lack of proper police training could play a part in these shootings. However, what type of person needs extensive, state-paid training to treat people respectfully and not gun them down in cold blood? The spate of police murders goes above and beyond lack of training and smacks of the psychopathy that runs rampant in police forces.

CNN steps up the propaganda and the priming: White House 'Russian hackers' go from suspects to perps - and were able to see Obama's schedule...

Image
On the basis of scant evidence, CNN identified the alleged White House hackers as Russian agents. (Artist’s conception.)
CNN (4/8/15) ran a story about "Russian hackers" getting into the White House computer system that needed to get out of the White House PR system.

The story, by Evan Perez and Shimon Prokupecz, began with:
Russian hackers behind the damaging cyber intrusion of the State Department in recent months used that perch to penetrate sensitive parts of the White House computer system, according to US officials briefed on the investigation.
The phrasing implies that the responsibility of said hackers from Russia for an earlier "cyber intrusion" is proven fact, and what the "US officials" (the main source for the news in this piece, along with "investigators") are adding is their culpability in a second security breach.

But if you follow the link in that lead, you find another CNN story (3/10/15) written last month by the same writers, and here's its complete presentation of the evidence for the "Russian hackers" involvement:

Comment: Unfortunately, but rather predictably, many other U.S. media outlets followed suit in the style of CNN on this story. And many of those articles included the idea that the "Russian hackers" were able to learn of Obama's schedule as a result. One of the authors of the CNN propaganda hit piece at issue here, Shimon Prokupecz, even makes a point of tweeting about it specifically:

"Russian hackers who breached White House computer were able to monitor Obama's schedule in real time."

Prokupecz, who got the story from unknown sources, adds the "in real time" to make the story even more nefarious sounding. The unsuspecting public will read this, and a suggestion will have been made, and the public primed even further to think: the Russian hackers are interested in the comings and goings of the President of the United States. They have already basically been told that the Russian government was responsible for the murder of political opponent Boris Nemtsov even though this idea has been shown to be ridiculous. And now they are being told effectively that Russia is keeping a close eye on how and where Obama spends his time.

One might wonder if this narrative - like the statement attributed to Nemtsov - that he was afraid that Putin would kill him (which, as it turns out, was never said) may be a hint at the next lethal steps the Western oligarchy may take in order to vilify Russia, and Putin, in order to solidify the Big lie that Russia is "the World's greatest threat to security". At the very least, one shouldn't put it past them as they appear capable of anything. Perhaps this is just speculation, but do not be terribly surprised if something like this happens, either. Horrific false flag attacks facilitated by the U.S. and other countries are nothing new. And puppet Obama may have just outlived his usefulness to certain agendas.

College instructor told students to threaten patients into vaccinations, lawsuit claims

A Shiawassee County woman is suing Baker College after she claims she was kicked out of the school's nursing program because she questioned lessons she claims encouraged students to lie to patients in order to get them vaccinated.

© Brittany Greeson | MLive.comNichole Rolfe, 35, of Henderson, Mich., on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at John's Coney Island in Flint. Rolfe is suing Baker College following her dismissal from the school's nursing program. She claims she was kicked out because she questioned instruction that encouraged students to lie to patients so they would agree to vaccination.
Nichole Rolfe filed the lawsuit Monday, April 6, in Genesee Circuit Court on claims an instructor at the private school's Owosso campus told students to threaten and panic patients into immunizations. Rolfe's October 2013 dismissal from the program came 20 weeks before she was set to graduate.

"She stated that we would go in there if they declined and then we would use threats to coerce them," Rolfe said of the instructor's lesson. The threats could include, "You're going to lose your Medicaid and if you lose your Medicaid because you refuse the vaccine you will have to pay for your entire hospital stay," she claims.

'United front to stop fascists': WWII veterans in plea to prevent 'rewriting of history'

Image

A Second World War veteran's forum in Slovenia has called on the world to prevent the spread of a "cancer" that is attempting to rewrite history and to revive fascism.

Veteran organizations of Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and several other European countries gathered in the Slovenian capital on Friday to share their experiences.

The result of the conference dubbed "The lessons of the Second World War and contemporary society" became a memorandum that called for veteran's organizations to come out in a "united front" and preserve the national identity of Slavic cultures.

Comment: Hopefully these veterans can shine a light to the younger generations.

100,000 Italians sign petition for eurozone exit referendum

Italy's Five Star Movement (M5S) party has collected more than 100,000 signatures on a petition calling for a law that would allow a referendum on withdrawal from the eurozone.

M5S MP Carlo Sibila says he expects a referendum to take place at the start of next year. Though the petition has already surpassed the required amount of signatures needed for the initiative, Sibila said that he hopes it will gather another 50,000 by early May in order to highlight the issue.

"Who wants to stay in euro? This is the main question," Sibila told RT. "But we don't want to get out just like this - we want a program and a discussion, and then let the citizens decide. It's really necessary today as the situation in Italy is going from bad to worse where jobs and economy are concerned."

Comment: Well, good luck with that. It's a great idea to control your own currency but you need the right kind of leadership to accomplish such a grand task. The world bankers won't have it and will create obstacles.
