Joe Rogan: 'Straight white men' are being silenced by 'woke' culture

If the cancel culture crew keeps up its "woke" campaign, men like Joe Rogan are in danger of being silenced forever, Rogan claims.

In an interview with comedian Joe List on "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast, the host lamented at how oppressed the once irreverent comedy scene has become as of late.

"Can you make a good comedy movie anymore, or have they made it so dangerous in terms of being canceled, that comedy movies are no longer something you can do?" Rogan asked.

"You can never be woke enough, that's the problem," he proclaimed. "It keeps going. It keeps going further and further and further down the line, and if you get to the point where you capitulate, where you agree to all these demands, it'll eventually get to — straight white men are not allowed to talk. Because it's your privilege to express yourself when other people of color have been silenced throughout history."

Systemic racism is doing a poor job of keeping black men and women out of law enforcement but Black Lives Matter (BLM) seems to be good at it. The police chiefs of Dallas, Seattle, and Rochester, N.Y., — all of whom were black and two of whom were women — resigned after troubles with BLM riots. The chiefs of Portland, Louisville, Ky., and Atlanta (all white) resigned as well and the "racist system" replaced them with black chiefs, with Louisville's new chief also being a woman. The bigoted, good-ole-boy system replaces black police chiefs as quickly as the woke BLM mob can take them down.

Five out of the 6 largest U.S. cities have black police chiefs or commissioners. This isn't good for people that make their living selling the myth of systemic racism, especially in law enforcement. How can cops be "hunting black men" when black people are in charge?

42% of Russians do not want to be vaccinated against Covid-19 'under ANY circumstances,' even to enable travel abroad, says survey

A Russian survey has revealed that more than two-fifths (42%) of citizens do not intend to be vaccinated against Covid-19 "under any circumstances," a result that may explain the country's poorly performing inoculation program.

Conducted by recruitment company Superjob's research center, the survey also revealed that one-in-five (20%) unvaccinated Russians would get jabbed if it meant they could travel abroad. The poll came after Greece's announcement that they would be willing to accept tourists vaccinated with Sputnik V.

The results found that 18% of Russians yet to be inoculated plan to get the shot even without any other incentive. Some 42% said they absolutely do not want to get vaccinated, even if it is the only option for a trip to another country, and 20% found it difficult to decide.

Comment: Vaccination against Covid-19 is not well accepted among the general population probably because many suspect that the real danger from the virus is far less than the potential danger from the new experimental vaccines. And some people simply don't like being told what to do. That's a virtue in times like this.

Israeli security forces work at the scene of what police said was a suspected car-ramming attack, at the entrance to Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of East Jerusalem.
A car rammed a temporary police checkpoint in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in East Jerusalem on Sunday, injuring seven officers. The Palestinian driver of the vehicle was shot dead at the scene.

The gruesome videos uploaded on social media captured a car speeding up and crashing into a group of officers standing outside a parked police vehicle.

Comment: After Israel has stolen Palestinian land and herded millions of Palestinians into virtual prison camps known as the Gaza strip and West Bank for more than 6 decades, some Palestinians are desperately trying to fight back with all they can against much powerful occupation forces. And the cycle of senseless violence continues.

A four-year-old boy was found stabbed to death on a Dallas street after he was allegedly abducted from his bed by a teen now facing charges for kidnapping.

A jogger came across the body of Cash Gernon in the city's Mountain Creek neighborhood at around 7am Saturday, Assistant Police Chief Albert Martinez said, adding that it appeared the child suffered a violent death from an 'edged weapon'.

Darriynn Brown, 18, was arrested in the case hours later and was charged with kidnapping and theft. Police said they also anticipate additional charges pending the results of a forensic analysis.

Some journalists are happy to knock on the doors of strangers. I was never one of them, but Christopher Steele, the ex-British spy behind the infamous Trump dossier, left me no choice.

During the 2016 presidential campaign, Mr. Steele had been hired by an investigative firm called Fusion GPS to gather dirt about Donald J. Trump and Russia. The firm's founders, two former Wall Street Journal reporters, made it clear they would not talk to me for a book I was writing about the business of private intelligence. So on an early summer morning in 2019, I arrived at Mr. Steele's home in Farnham, a picturesque English village.

In photographs, the retired MI6 agent was always dressed impeccably in business suits, his graying hair freshly coifed. When he opened his door, he was wearing plaid boxer shorts and a blue T-shirt and had a serious case of bed head. "I can't talk today," he said. "It's my birthday."

At the time, those involved with the dossier were intent on controlling its narrative and eager to capitalize on their fame. Glenn Simpson and Peter Fritsch, the founders of Fusion GPS, wrote a book about the dossier that became a best seller. Mr. Steele sold his life rights to a Hollywood studio owned by George Clooney. When a guest at a private dinner party hosted by Vanity Fair asked him for his business card, he thought it was a fan who wanted his autograph, so he picked up his place card and signed it.

Jeffrey Epstein suggested Bill Gates should leave his wife Melinda during dozens of meetings at the convicted pedophile's $77million Manhattan townhouse, according to a person who attended the 'men's club'-style get-togethers.

Gates' visits to Epstein's 'lair' were an escape from his unhappy marriage, and the pair 'were very close', a source told The Daily Beast.

The report alleges the pair's friendship blurred personal and professional lines, and was much closer than Gates had previously admitted.

The ransomware attack on the HSE on Friday morning caused major disruption as it required a shutdown of all IT systems.
No effort spared to resume medical services and restore HSE's system, statement says

The Government has said the cyber attacks on the State's health services are "despicable crimes" and "no effort is being spared" to resume medical services and restore the HSE's system.

It also said any public release of stolen patient data by the criminals behind the attack is "utterly contemptible". It said there is a risk that the medical and other data of patients will be abused and anyone who is affected is urged to contact the HSE and gardaí.

Note to Readers:
For a period of about ten years, I operated a website of political commentary that contained thousands of articles, many of which were content from various media, but many being my own work. That website experienced occasional but persistent DDOS and other attacks by forces unknown

Some years ago, I published on that website a three-page article on the Western media similar in content to the media series I am presenting here. Of all my written work, only this one article was under constant attack. Most often, the pages wouldn't load properly, preventing readers from seeing the full contents and preventing them from clicking through to the following pages. It was clear I had attracted the attention of someone who preferred to not have this information in the public realm.
A short while ago, I wrote an article titled, A Search for Truth and Understanding. It provides an excellent lead-in to this series and I suggest you read it. It isn't long. (1)

When I arrived in China the news reporting format was one of the first things to draw my attention. There was something different, unusual; the reporting seemed somehow stilted, a bit dry or reserved, perhaps cautious. Reserve and caution are of course Chinese tradition, but I had difficulty assessing it. My first thought was that perhaps the government controlled not only content but method - the way news was reported.

But it slowly dawned on me that the unusual aspect was simply that I was seeing news without commentary - a simple chronology of events. I had become so inured to the rampant opinion-based journalism in North America that the absence of this in China made articles seem somehow barren and empty. But they weren't empty of news; they were empty of the opinions, biases, propaganda, conjectures and moral judgments that in the West are always inextricably mixed with fact. Looking at most Western newspapers today, and certainly on topics related to politics, capitalism, religion or US imperialism, seemingly every article contains 3 facts, 4 conjectures, 2 false hypotheses, 6 moral judgments, 12 baseless opinions and at least 6 unfounded accusations, all following a coherent agenda. It is impossible to find honest reporting in America's mainstream media today - and indeed in all the Western media, the reported "news" being little more than an ideology surge, journalism having openly become nothing more than perception management for imperialism or political power.

Second suspected 'Havana Syndrome' case near White House under investigation: report

A second official on the National Security Council was reportedly struck with the mysterious condition known as Havana Syndrome last year while near the entrance to the White House grounds, CNN reports.

Sources close to the matter told CNN that the official experienced more severe symptoms than the previous case that had been reported in April.

The case occurred last year, CNN reports, several weeks after the presidential election.
