The decision to allow transgender athlete Laurel Hubbard to compete in women's weightlifting at the Tokyo Olympics is unlikely to affect the medal hopes of the world's top-ranked athletes. But it does leave one question unanswered - what the hell is going on in sport?
The 43-year-old will be the oldest weightlifter at Tokyo and first openly transgender athlete to compete at an Olympics.
Only 266,000 jobs were added last month, far below the estimated million forecasters predicted. Unemployment was expecting to go down, not up, as it did to 6.1 percent while the government continues to dole out generous benefits to incentivize Netflix and couch surfing over a paycheck.
The April jobs numbers were so low, CNBC's Steve Liesman appeared to believe there may have been a typo on air.

CRT is a Marxist-based philosophy that embraces the concept that all social and cultural issues should be viewed through the lens of race and racial identity.
Critics of CRT say its emphasis on identity politics creates greater division, rather than unity.

In a company statement Friday night, Colonial Pipeline said, "On May 7, the Colonial Pipeline Company learned it was the victim of a cybersecurity attack. In response, we proactively took certain systems offline to contain the threat, which has temporarily halted all pipeline operations, and affected some of our IT systems."
According to Bloomberg, Colonial Pipeline operates the largest gasoline and diesel pipeline system in the U.S.

Damon Turner and Patrisse Cullors speak at Patrisse Cullors' Thesis Solo Show on April 18, 2019 in Los Angeles, California.
The company, Trap Heals, was formed just days before partnering with Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation and later became the charity's "lead developer of the art & cultural efforts," according to business records, interviews and an archived version of Trap Heals' website. Two other activist groups Cullors led paid Trap Heals a collective $238,000 to produce an election night livestream and for consulting services, campaign finance records show.
In numerous public mentions of their work, Cullors and Trap Heals chief Damon Turner did not disclose that they had a child together. But in at least one instance, Turner said Cullors was directly involved in Trap Heals' partnership with BLM Global Network.
Comment: The National Pulse provides more insight into Patrisse Cullors' true political beliefs:
During her speech, the Black Lives Matter (BLM) co-founder recounts how a young person insisted her book was "like Mao's Red Book," a comparison which Cullors embraces:Poke a "progressive" organization, and sure enough, George Soros turns up:
"I was speaking to this young person from Arizona who's trying to fight SB 1070, and he grabbed a book and he said, "It's like Mao's Red Book." [Laughter] And I was like man, that's what I was thinking, and it was just really cool to hear him make that connection, and I was like how about you buy 10 to 15 of these books and you all have like a youth organizing group where you talk about it and you really try to engage this."
"I think I have a really important role in speaking to youth. Maybe it's because I came in the movement at 17-and-a-half, so I have just a knack for knowing how to organize young people into this organization," Cullors adds.
Originally published at the advent of China's Cultural Revolution, the Little Red Book contains hundreds of quotes from then-Chairman Mao. Beyond representing the archetype of communist propaganda, the work was widely used by young revolutionaries to justify "purges" of anyone short of completely devoted to the Chinese Communist Party.
And history appears to be repeating itself: BLM has embedded its messages within public school curricula alongside ideological counterparts including the 1619 Project and Critical Race Theory.

This combination of photos provided by the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office in Minnesota on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, shows Derek Chauvin, from left, J. Alexander Kueng, Thomas Lane and Tou Thao.
The three-count indictment names Derek Chauvin, Thomas Lane, J. Kueng and Tou Thao. Specifically, Chauvin, Thao and Kueng are charged with violating Floyd's right to be free from unreasonable seizure and excessive force. All four officers are charged for their failure to provide Floyd with medical care. Chauvin was also charged in a second indictment, stemming from the arrest and neck restraint of a 14-year-old boy in 2017.
Thomas Lane, Tou Thao and J. Kueng appeared via videoconference in U.S. District Court in Minneapolis. Chauvin was not part of the court appearance.

The Missouri Rep. addressed the House Oversight and Government Reform Committees on Thursday, sharing her experiences "as a single mom, nurse, activist, and Congresswoman...[committed] to protecting Black mothers, Black birthing people, Black babies, and to save Black lives."
While her pitch sounded innocuous enough at first - protecting women and children in a country that despite its first world status nevertheless is afflicted with one of the highest maternal death rates in the West, would seem to be a rather uncontroversial issue - a closer look at the tweet raised some alarms. Not only were her choices of who to protect limited to black children and parents, but there was that phrase in the middle of her conclusion: "Black birthing people."
Comment: People who use this kind of newspeak language should rightly be mocked and derided. As Matt Walsh said, "It makes everything ugly and dull and weird."

"All students are capable of making these contributions and achieving these abilities at the highest levels," the introductory chapter of the framework draft from January states, addressing the "problem" that "many competitive colleges and universities ... hold calculus as an unstated requirement."
According to the framework, when school districts place students who show high ability in math in advanced classes, or in the "mathematics pathway system," they act in opposition to what the document states is "evidence that shows all fifth graders are capable of eventually learning calculus, or other high-level courses, when provided appropriate messaging, teaching, and support (sic)."
Comment: One thing that is readily apparent in all this racist math nonsense is that those hellbent on changing what is taught and how are also hellbent on making children less intelligent and capable.

The Federal Election Commission (FEC) revealed that it has ditched a case related to whether former President Donald Trump breached election law in connection with a payment made to Stormy Daniels prior to the 2016 election by Trump's then-lawyer Michael Cohen.
Cohen served time for violating campaign finance laws, tax evasion and lying to Congress, according to the New York Times, which noted that Cohen has stated that Trump directed him to set up payments to two women amid the 2016 election contest.
Comment: Looks like even the FEC is sick of this BS. Let it die, already.
