Sweden is banning entry for travelers from the United States, Israel and four other countries due to rising COVID-19 rates, according to Swedish media.
The temporary travel ban to the Scandinavian country goes into effect on September 6 and expires on October 31 unless extended.
Comment: Israel, with it's high compliance rate for vaccinations and its exclusive use of the Pfizer vaccine, is considered the 'model' for other countries to follow. And yet their new case rates are going through the roof. Any sane person would be questioning the effectiveness of the vaccines, given this information. And yet the proposed solution is a third shot (and likely a fourth... and a fifth... and...).

Crowds of protesters gathered in Amsterdam's Dam Square on Sunday for a 7km (4 mile) march through the city's canal-lined streets and back to the square, all in protest of the center-right government's coronavirus policies.
Video footage showed a seemingly endless column of protesters marching along the route, with some observers claiming that the actual group of demonstrators was up to 3km (1.8 miles) long.
Comment: Just add this to the list of cities rising up against vaccine passports and draconian lockdown measures. As the governments keep pushing, more people will continue to stand. It's going to reach boiling point eventually.

"I've gotten so many people calling me from all over the world, from Europe, trying to purchase meals for veterans, which I still haven't been able to organize," said DeBary Diner owner Angie Ugarte, according to the Daily Mail.

Cops are hunting for multiple gunmen following the shooting on Saturday night, which also left a further three people injured.
A black sedan with tinted windows reportedly stopped next to a group of people on the 600 block of Longfellow Street shortly after 7.30pm, before several people got out and started shooting.

Tucker Carlson praised the Chinese government for doing 'something virtuous' with its new restrictions on gaming and celebrity fandoms.
"When the Chinese government does something virtuous - it doesn't happen much - well we're willing to say so," he said on his show "Tucker Carlson Tonight."
Carlson spoke approvingly of China's decision in mid-August to stop accepting registrations for private equity funds that are raising money to invest in residential real estate.

The incident took place on Saturday afternoon when the Afghan, who has lived in Germany since 2016, attacked a 58-year-old woman gardening in a park because "he supposedly did not like the fact that she works being female." After that, he attacked a 66-year-old man who came to the woman's rescue.
Both victims were wounded in the neck, the police said, adding that both underwent surgery and are currently hospitalised.
