What happened on Tuesday isn't going to do anything to help CNN shed the "Clinton News Network" moniker.

As reporter Brianna Keilar was appearing live from Hillary's speech in Springfield, Illinois — and critiquing her record — the feed was mysteriously lost.

"Largely Hillary Clinton's comments here today, John, were based around the recent violence that we have seen," Keilar reported.

"The police-involved shootings of black men in Minnesota, in Louisiana, and the killing of white police officers by a black gunman in Dallas. That was really what she based her comments on around today.

Last year, Esmelin Fajardo was arrested and charged with resisting arrest and assault on a police officer. However, the only one assaulted in this incident was Fajardo.

The incident happened last September as police were shutting down a nightclub for being open too late. As police were 'protecting' society from the dangers of people being in a private establishment past 2:00 a.m., Fajardo tried to tell them that he worked at the club. However, officers weren't having it.

As cops were escorting everyone out of the building, all hell broke loose when one of them attacked Fajardo.

This week a Florida woman fell about 400 feet to her death while attempting to take a scenic selfie at the Grand Canyon - pushing the reported number of selfie-related deaths in 2016 to 29, the same number of selfie deaths recorded for all of 2015.

In 2015 it was determined that we had more chances of being killed by a selfie than a shark.

Yet vain Instagramers desperate to capture the moment have failed to take selfie safety precautions, as there have now been the same number of reported selfie-related deaths for the first half of 2016 as there was for the entire previous year.

Thirty-five-year-old Colleen Burns from Orlando slipped and fell to her death on Friday while taking a picture of herself at the edge of a cliff at Ooh Aah Point in the Grand Canyon National Park. Burns had already uploaded a picture of herself sitting on the edge of a cliff at the park on the same day.

In two separate incidents on June 29, two tourists plunged to their death while taking selfies in Peru. A South Korean tourist lost his footing while posing at the Gocta waterfall in northeastern Peru, falling 1,600ft into a 7-metre-deep lake.

New Yorkers trying to ride the subway experienced long delays, as the system's central control faltered due to a power outage. The mishap comes on the anniversary of the notorious 1977 blackout.

The problem was first reported around 1:30 p.m. local time (17:30 GMT), with the Metro Transit Authority (MTA) warning passengers of "extensive" delays and long wait times.

The MTA's Rail Control Center in Manhattan lost power for unspecified reasons, and had to activate a backup system, the Gothamist reported. As a result, trains throughout the subway network had to be dispatched locally, instead of remotely, resulting in cascading delays.

Glyphosate, the main ingredient found in Monsanto's best-selling herbicide, Roundup, has poisoned Lake Erie.

Scientists from Ohio Northern University (ONU) in the U.S. have discovered that glyphosate is largely responsible for an increase in harmful algae blooms that contaminate lake water and kill off life dependent upon this habitat.

Namely, dissolved reactive phosphorous (DRP) has been contaminating Lake Erie and the Maumee watershed. This DRP comes from surrounding farms that rely on Monsanto's weedkiller to grow their crops. The runoff ends up in the lakes, killing fish and contaminating the water.

Though Lake Erie's trouble with phosphorous is not new, there has been an alarming increase in DRP, which caused scientists to question its probable origins.

Christopher Spiese, a chemist at Ohio Northern University suggests that an increase in the use of glyphosate is causing the problem. DRP loads in Lake Erie have been increasing since the early 1990s — the same time that Roundup was being sold to farmers across the U.S.

Is the time for warning people to prepare for what is ahead coming to an end? For years, bold men and women all over America have been sounding the alarm and warning people to get prepared physically, financially, mentally, emotionally and spiritually for the great storm that is rapidly approaching. Personally, I have written more than 2,500 articles on my primary two websites combined, and so nobody can accuse me of not blowing the trumpet. It has gotten to the point that sometimes I am even tired of listening to myself warn the people. But now we are shifting into a new phase.

The other day I was reflecting on some of the things that I have been hearing lately. Sales of emergency food and supplies are way down across the entire industry. Many organizations and websites that have been instrumental in sounding the alarm for a long time are really struggling right now. On my websites, traffic has hit a bit of a plateau after experiencing a tremendous surge late last year. Overall, "prepping" was very hot just a few years ago, and at one time it was estimated that there were approximately three million "preppers" in the United States. But these days there seems to be a tremendous amount of apathy out there.

Hillary has been in the hot seat, but she escaped unscathed.

But what is really going on behind the scenes? Is something big going down inside the DNC?

A high-level Democratic National Committee staff member, Seth Rich, was gunned down by unknown assailants near his home in Washington, D.C. while reportedly walking home at 4 a.m.

Obama referred to himself twice before finishing his opening salutations and before mentioning the slain officers or their families. After noting the presence of President Bush, members of Congress and Dallas mayor Mike Rawlings, Obama appeared to go off-script.

A German of Iranian origin who traveled to Syria to join a jihadist group was sentenced to two years in prison for appearing in a set of images with severed heads of Syrian army servicemen. The case marks the first Syria-related war crime verdict in Germany.

A regional court in Frankfurt has found Aria Ladjevardi, a 21-year-old German citizen, guilty of war crimes for treating two Syrian army soldiers "in a degrading and humiliating manner" in violation of international humanitarian law.

The unidentified militant group, to which Ladjevardi is said to have belonged, raided a Syrian army checkpoint between March 8 and April 16, 2014, in the town of Binnish located in the Idlib province. The militants captured and later executed two servicemen. In course of the slaughter they beheaded the victims and spiked their heads on metal rods put on public display, the court has stated in a statement Tuesday.

South Korea's military has announced the location of its THAAD anti-missile defense system, intended to deter threats from North Korea. The plan, which greatly angered regional powers, has led thousands of Koreans on to the streets in protest.

Seoul and Washington say the system is intended to both counter threats in the region and defend US troops stationed there. It forms the core element of the America's multilayered defense program. But the local residents fear it will lead to deteriorating health and will negatively impact the agricultural economy. The system's high-powered radar has been linked to infertility and cancer, according to local rumors, which the government dismissed as "baseless."

Some 3,000 people first took to the streets on Saturday, following the previous day's announcement of the US-backed Terminal High-Altitude Area Defense System, or THAAD. This was in Chilgok County - thought to have been the likeliest of the locations. The protests have since spread.

But on Wednesday the government revealed the location to be the county of Seongju, North Gyeongsang Province, about 135 miles (217km) southeast of Seoul.

"South Korea and the US' joint working group have proposed the Seongju area, North Gyeongsang Province, as the optimal place for the deployment ... and the countries' defense ministers have approved it," the Ministry of National Defense's Deputy Minister for Policy Yoo Jeh-seung announced on Wednesday, Yonhap news agency reports.

This led to no less than 5,000 farmers gathering in protest, according to Yonhap. Opposition continues to be so fierce that some officials have gone on hunger strikes. This was followed by the county's Governor Kim Hang-gon writing a letter to Seoul in his own blood, as the attendees observed.
