Alongside seven other people affiliated with the management of French cement producer Lafarge, Jacob Wærness has been accused of paying money to terrorist organizations in order to keep the factory in war-torn Syria running.

The 40-year-old Jacob Wærness, a former employee of the Police Security Service (PST), has been arrested in France for purportedly paying off terrorists in Syria, Norwegian TV2 reported.

Between 2011 and 2013, Wærness served as security chief at the French cement manufacturer Lafarge which had a factory in Jalabiya in the vicinity of Aleppo in northern Syria. After Syrian government forces pulled out of the area in 2011, Lafarge reportedly had to forge contacts with several "combatant groups." At the same time, Daesh* began to operate in the area.

Highest-rated CNN show less watched than lowest-rated Fox show

The least-watched prime time program on Fox News drew more viewers than its most-watched counterpart on CNN.

"Fox News at Night with Shannon Bream" drew an average of 1.5 million viewers in the month of April, according to Nielsen ratings reported by the Conservative Tribune. CNN's most-watched show, "Anderson Cooper 360," had an average audience of 1.1 million and placed a distant 24th among cable programs.

Several shows in Fox's morning and daytime lineups also outperformed "AC360," including "America's Newsroom," "Fox & Friends," "Outnumbered," "Your World with Neil Cavuto," "Happening Now," "Shepard Smith Reporting," "Outnumbered Overtime" and "Daily Briefing with Dana Perino."

It's the latest bad news for CNN, which saw prime-time viewership decline 17 percent in the first quarter of 2018.

Comment: That's called not-winning. CNN is a failing pile of garbage and Americans know it. The only ones who don't are CNN themselves. Just goes to show: you can't cure stupid.

Israeli settlers in the southern West Bank
Israeli Jewish settlers flooded Palestinian farmland with sewage in Beit Amer neighbourhood on the outskirts of the West Bank city of Hebron, the Safa news agency reported yesterday.

Activist Yousef Abu-Maria told Safa that the settlers from the illegal Jewish-only settlement of Etzion channelled wastewater on to the Palestinian farmlands.

The activists also said that the wastewater flooded more than 10 dunams (0.01 square kilometres) of farmland planted with fruitful trees owned by a number of Palestinian farmers.

More farmlands are expected to be affected if the wastewater is not channelled elsewhere, he added.

Comment: What happens when individuals who would otherwise join ISIS happen to read the Talmud first.

Prominent universities snub president Trump as grad speaker - again

Trump whitehouse
Venerable and mainstream universities continually snub President Donald Trump as a commencement speaker, with the commander in chief as of today only slated to give the address at the United States Naval Academy this graduation season.

Every year at least one military school typically hosts the current president as a grad speaker. But Trump's overall graduation speaker circuit looks sparse when it comes to the number and type of schools he gives speeches at compared to other politicians.

Last year, he gave speeches at Liberty University and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. Compare that with President Obama's first year in office. In 2009, Obama spoke at the University of Notre Dame, Arizona State University, and the United States Naval Academy.

So while Trump gets invited to military schools, as is tradition for a sitting president, and got the nod from Liberty University - a Christian school whose president, Jerry Falwell, is a supporter of Trump's - it appears he may not be getting invites from historic, well-known, larger mainstream universities.

The White House did not respond to requests from The College Fix, seeking comment and clarification on whether Trump is declining invites, or not getting them at all.

Comment: Most universities are a concentrated collection of insiders: ideologically obsessed "intellectual yet idiot" types with no skin in the game. So the only necessary response is this: who cares? Let them worship Hillary. It only exposes how out of touch they are.

New York attny says two women complained to him years ago about Schneiderman

New York Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman announces the filing of a multistate lawsuit to protect Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients at a press conference at John Jay College in New York City, U.S., September 6, 2017.
New York attorney Peter Gleason says two women came to his office four years ago to seek help about then-Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.

Gleason was once a write-in candidate for the Manhattan District Attorney's office against Manhattan DA Cyrus Vance, whose office is now investigating the case.

He said it is now "refreshing" that "people's allegations of misconduct are finally being taken seriously."

"I have two women at two separate times come in and complain about Eric Schneiderman, the way he treated women," Gleason told The Daily Caller Tuesday.

Comment: Breitbart also dug up this gem from Trump, who apparently called it years before:

US Congress introduces legislation to allow government to seize guns from those deemed 'dangerous'

U.S. Rep Ted Deutch, D-West Boca., and U.S. Rep. Susan Brooks, R-Ind., introduced legislation on May 9, 2018, that would encourage states to pass laws allowing the government to seize firearms of people deemed dangerous to themselves or others.
Federal legislation introduced Wednesday would encourage all states to enact laws similar to Florida's new statute that allows the government to seize firearms of people deemed dangerous to themselves or others.

In the aftermath of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School massacre - in which 17 people were killed and 17 injured by a shooter who had previously exhibited mental health issues - Florida established a type of restraining order that allows guns to be taken away from dangerous people.

Since the law took effect, Broward leads the state in issuance of such orders. "Already in Florida, dozens of incidents now have taken place where law enforcement has used that law to take guns away from people who could do harm who posed a threat to themselves or to their community," said U.S. Rep. Ted Deutch, a Democrat whose district includes Stoneman Douglas High.

Comment: While the above legislation can be lauded for attempts to deprive mentally unstable people from access to guns, there is always the risk of abuse. Who will ultimately decide if someone poses a danger?

Chilling video shows Nebraska cops shoot, kill TV crewman while filming 'Cops' episode

Cops shoot filmaker
As TFTP reported in 2014, an employee working for the television show "Cops" was shot and killed by police in Omaha, Nebraska, as they responded to an armed robbery at a local Wendy's restaurant. Although the incident happened 4 years ago, the video footage from that tragic day was not released until now.

As Omaha.com reports, the city attempted to block the release of the video, however, a Douglas County district judge has refused the City of Omaha's request to bar the release of the video, which shows the fatal shooting of a crew member of the "Cops" TV program and a man firing a pellet gun at police.

Sound technician Bryce Dion, died after police opened fire on an alleged armed robber in a restaurant. The suspect, 32-year-old Cortez Washington had been in possession of an airsoft gun.

More libtard lunacy: 'Sex expert' claims parents need consent for diaper changing

Claims by a 'sexuality expert' that parents should ask their babies for permission to change their diaper has sparked a flood of reaction with political parties criticizing the Australian news channel which interviewed the woman.

Deanne Carson, who works with Body Safe Australia, made the comments on ABC News as part of a segment on establishing a "culture of consent" in the home. She explained that she works with children from birth and, when asked to give examples of how children can learn about consent at such an early age, she said parents should ask questions such as "I'm going to change your nappy now, is that okay?"

"Of course the baby is not going to respond 'yes mum, that's awesome. I'd love to have my nappy changed.' But if you leave a space, and wait for body language and wait to make eye contact, then you're letting that child know that their response matters," she continued.

Video shows children being indoctrinated into feminist ideology on transgenderism and gender identity by their parents

A video for "Cut," posted to YouTube last week, documents parents discussing with their young children "infinite" genders, non-binary gender pronouns, transgenderism, and surgical body mutilation. The children in the video appear to have not yet even hit their teen years.

In one exchange, a mother who identifies as "trans non-binary," informs her daughter that she is going to have her breasts removed. The young girl looks absolutely terrified and tells her mom that she still has "mixed feelings" on the surgery. "[It's] a lot scary," she timidly explains, adding, "You're gonna look different."

Another mother tells her two young boys that a "wiener" doesn't necessarily make you a boy; there are "infinite" genders, she claims, as her two sons look beyond confused.

Mormon Church severs relationship with Boy Scouts in wake of decision to allow girls to join

On Tuesday, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church), which has more boys in the movement than any other religious denomination, announced it would sever its partnership with the Boy Scouts of America. Mormon boys comprise almost 20% of the Boy Scouts' 2.3 million youth members, as The Washington Post reports.

The church released a joint statement with the Boy Scouts of America that stated:
In this century of shared experience, the Church has grown from a U.S.-centered institution to a worldwide organization, with a majority of its membership living outside the United States. That trend is accelerating. The Church has increasingly felt the need to create and implement a uniform youth leadership and development program that serves its members globally. In so doing, it will be necessary for the Church to discontinue its role as a chartered partner with BSA. We have jointly determined that, effective on December 31, 2019, the Church will conclude its relationship as a chartered organization with all Scouting programs around the world.
The Mormon Church has been vitally involved with the Boy Scouts since 1913; any boy who is part of a Mormon congregation automatically becomes a Boy Scout. The Mormon Church has taken issue with the direction the Boy Scouts organization has taken in recent years, among them the decision to include openly gay troop leaders in 2015 and the decision last week to change its flagship name to Scouts BSA as a result of last year's decision to allow girls into the program.
