Society's Child
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has awarded at least $2.7 million to a University of Pittsburgh program that sought to create a "tissue hub" sourced from aborted fetuses ranging from six to 42 weeks' gestation. Forty-two weeks equates to more than 10 months of pregnancy.
Details about the program emerged after conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch and the Center for Medical Progress obtained 252 pages of documents as part of a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit brought against the HHS.

French President Emmanuel Macron has been the focus of much of the protests
The new rules championed by French President Emmanuel Macron make it obligatory to have either a full course of vaccination against Covid-19, be in possession of a negative test or be recently recovered from the virus to enjoy usually routine activities.
Macron, who faces re-election next year, hopes the new rules will encourage all French to be vaccinated against Covid-19 and defeat the virus and its fast-spreading Delta variant.

The High Court of Justice of Andalusia (TSJA) ruled on Friday against the initiative announced by the regional government earlier this week. Making health passports mandatory to visit indoor nightlife venues was deemed to be discriminatory and in violation of citizens' privacy rights.
The ill-fated plan was announced by the president of the regional government, Juanma Moreno, back on Monday. According to Moreno, an EU Digital Covid Certificate, a negative PCR test, or a negative antibody test would be required to visit any nightlife venue in Andalusia.
Comment: It's rather telling as to the state of the world that much of the emergency legislation, as well a number of recent laws currently being rammed through parliaments, are being ruled as unconstitutional and a violation of the fundamental rights of citizens; it perhaps should also be a source of hope that there are still some areas of the legislature that have not yet succumbed to total ponerization:

Babbitt was the only person to be killed on January 6 when thousands of Trump supporters stormed Congress.
Her family say that video of her being shot proves that the plain clothed officer who did it did not issue a verbal command, and that the US Capitol Police is liable for her death.

Prosecutors said Tuesday that their plea agreements with Olivia Winslow and Camryn Amy of Wilmington, Delaware, who also pleaded guilty to theft and child endangerment, were established with the "approval of the victims," according to the News Journal.
The charges stemmed from an incident last August outside of the Democratic National Convention in Wilmington, where the family was protesting then-presidential candidate Joe Biden. Video subsequently posted to Twitter showed the two women confronting the family, taking the hat, and destroying their posters.

Dr. Anthony Fauci (inset) has been accused of funding experiments on beagles (file photo)
The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), which Fauci has run since 1984, gave $424,455 to the University of Georgia to inject a group of beagles with experimental vaccines and then infest them with parasites, WCW reported last week, citing documents obtained from the government under a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.
The revelation has since attracted the attention of several conservative-leaning news outlets, including the Daily Caller and the Federalist.

Gonsalves was bleeding profusely but is expected to recover, according to a statement from his office.
However, the prime minister will be flown to Barbados for further medical treatment including an MRI scan, Finance Minister Camilo Gonsalves told Parliament on Thursday, according to local media.
Authorities said Gonsalves was injured when he stepped out of his car and tried to walk into Parliament amid a crowd of some 200 people that had blocked the entrance as they set roadblocks on fire.
Comment: That's the same Gonsalves that said "no vaccine, no rescue". No wonder they couldn't resist throwing a rock at him.

UK transport secretary Grant Shapps said the pandemic had created a ‘new world’ and that he expected countries to require passengers to be fully vaccinated before travel
The comments from Grant Shapps suggest the pandemic will permanently alter the way people travel, and that the airline and tourism industries will have to adapt to extra bureaucracy and checks when people cross borders indefinitely.
He said the pandemic had created a "new world" and that he expected countries to require passengers to be fully vaccinated before travel.
"I think double vaccination or full vaccination is going to be a feature for evermore, and most countries, probably all countries, will require full vaccination for you to enter," he told BBC radio on Thursday.
Shapps also urged more young adults to come forward to be vaccinated, warning they would not be able to travel without it.

U.S. President Barack Obama is seen during his second presidential inauguration on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol January 21, 2013 in Washington.
Obama: In Pursuit of a More Perfect Union is the new three-part HBO documentary that sets out to chronicle Barack Obama's rise from obscurity to the highest office in the land.
The roughly five-hour series, which features no new interview with Obama but rather relies on archival footage and a plethora of sycophantic talking heads, premiered on HBO on August 3, and on HBO Max on August 4, the former president's 60th birthday. What do you get the man who has everything for his birthday? If you're director Peter W. Kunhardt, you give the gift of a shamelessly reverential, hagiographic documentary.
