The poll, conducted by The Washington Post and the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University, found that 67 percent of Americans plan to wear masks when sick after the pandemic ends, with 31 percent saying they do not plan on doing do.
Sixty-six percent of those polled said they will wear comfortable clothing more often after the threat of COVID-19 ends, with 31 percent saying they will not.
The poll comes as cases of the coronavirus skyrocket amid a new wave of cases of the delta variant, which is highly contagious. Outbreaks have raised new questions about just when the United States will really move beyond the pandemic. Dr. Anthony Fauci, Biden's chief medical adviser, warned on Wednesday that the U.S. could see up to 200,000 COVID-19 cases a day in the fall.
Virginia Roberts may file a multi-million-pound civil action against Prince Andrew in New York before the end of this week, her lawyer told the Daily Mail on Sunday. David Boies said the lawsuit "would be based on her [Roberts] being lent out to Prince Andrew for sex by [late convicted sex trafficker] Jeffrey Epstein and [her] being under 18".
Additionally, Boies pointed out that the legal action would include charges of "improper sexual violations, physical and emotional distress" and that the suit would also contain a claim for damages.
"To use a common phrase here in the United States, 'Time's up'", the lawyer said.
He warned that should the Duke ignore the lawsuit, it would go to trial without him and the court could deal with a default judgment. The amount of damages would then be outlined, and "that judgment could be enforced any place in the world", according to Boies.
Last November, students testified that the rock was a daily reminder of past and present injustices faced by students of colour. Chancellor Rebecca Blank accepted the recommendation. The Wisconsin Black Student Union, in partnership with the Native American student organization Wunk Sheek, endorsed its removal, according to WNews.
Comment: For anyone wondering what the offensive name was:
Chamberlin Rock, named for former university president and geologist Thomas Crowder Chamberlin, was at least once referred to as a "n — — -head" rock in a 1925 Wisconsin State Journal story. University historians have not found any other time that the slur was used. So, a single offensive reference, from nearly one hundred years ago, is enough to force the expensive removal of a university icon, as well as the plaque honoring Chamberlin. More social justice lunacy.
But the Ku Klux Klan was active on campus during that time. And the recent rediscovery of that long-ago news article prompted a reevaluation of an object that not only helped tell the story of the state's geologic history but also served as a daily reminder of a more recent troubling past.
"The problem we are faced with now is the strict San Francisco Mandate which is vaccinate or be terminated," the San Francisco Deputy Sheriffs' Association (SFSO) wrote in a Facebook post Friday. "If deputy sheriffs are forced to vaccinate a percentage of them will retire early or seek employment elsewhere."
The post stated the majority of officers are vaccinated, but that the union believes that continuing to wear face masks should be sufficient for those who are not.
Comment: Full statement from the SFSO's Facebook page:
"The SFDSA has always promoted Covid-19 Safety and has given out masks as well as face shields to first responders and the public during the peak of the pandemic. We believe the data and science speaks for itself and that masking works.
The problem we are faced with now is the strict San Francisco Mandate which is vaccinate or be terminated. If deputy sheriffs are forced to vaccinate a percentage of them will retire early or seek employment elsewhere.
The majority of Deputy Sheriffs are vaccinated. Approximately 160 out 700 Deputy Sheriffs are not vaccinated prefer to mask and test weekly instead of being vaccinated due to religious and other beliefs. Currently, the staffing at the SFSO is at the lowest it has ever been due to the past 9-month applicant testing restriction placed on the Sheriff's Office by the Mayor.
San Francisco cannot afford to lose any more deputy sheriffs or any first responders. If they retire early or quit this will affect public safety even more. We would like San Francisco to be in alignment with the state guidelines which are require vaccination or test weekly."
Now you have a mini dictator. You have one step away from a king. One step closer. You're moving one step closer to dictatorship. That's what the f**k is happening. That's what's going to happen with the vaccine passport. That's what's going to happen if they close borders. You can't enter New York City unless you have your papers! You can't go here unless you have that! You can't get on a plane unless you do what I say.

Travis Maddox, a prepper and producer of "The Prepared Homestead" on YouTube, feeds his turkeys and chickens.
"No one could move. It just shut the whole region down for two weeks. I wasn't as prepared as I thought," said Maddox, a burly man of 43, sporting a long black beard, T-shirt, cargo pants, and baseball cap, while tending his garden.
Those two weeks made Maddox realize that being prepared — "prepping," as it's called today — was the key to a life of self-reliance and personal freedom.
As an Eagle Scout, he never forgot the Boy Scout motto: Be prepared.
"To me, the ultimate level of prepping is being self-sufficient. You're still being modern, but you're in control," Maddox told The Epoch Times on Aug. 5.
In 2009, Maddox launched his YouTube channel, "The Prepared Homestead," which now has over 32,000 subscribers.
People, he said, are waking up to the worsening reality of supply chain disruptions and food shortages, and rapid political and social changes that all point toward "a perfect storm" just ahead.
Comment: The Portland municipal government has made it abundantly clear that they support the violent extremist actions of Antifa by continuing to let them run roughshod over the city without consequences. Anyone left in Portland at this point should be seriously considering leaving for good.

The Director of the CDC made an important admission during an interview today on CNN. CDC Director Rochelle Walensky stated the vaccine does not prevent COVID-19 infection, nor does it stop the vaccinated person from transmitting the infection or the delta variant. According to Director Walensky, the only benefit from the vaccine now is presumably that it reduces the severity of symptoms.
If a vaccinated and non-vaccinated person have the same capacity to carry, shed and transmit the virus - with or without symptoms - then what difference does a vaccination passport or vaccination ID make?
According to the CDC TODAY, both the vaxxed and non-vaxxed person walking into a restaurant, store, group, venue or workplace present the exact same risk to other people there, so how does the presentation of proof of vaccine make any difference? WATCH:

Social distancing rules and limits on how many people can meet indoors have now ended, almost 17 months after the first lockdown.
However, rules will remain tighter than in England, with face masks still required by law in many public places.
First Minister Mark Drakeford said masks are still required in most indoor public places, including in shops, healthcare settings and on public transport.
However, they are no longer a legal requirement in hospitality venues where food and drink is served.
