Architect Brenda Barattini allegedly attacked Sergio Fernandez, a 40-year-old reggae singer, with a pair of pruning shears as he was sleeping in her apartment in the central Argentinian city of Cordoba.
The entries in the book, found by investigators in her flat, include words and expressions like 'scalpel', 'cut him', 'tape' and 'his mobile' and end with the message 'Ask for help'.
Thorpe, 28, and a few friends had attended a discussion about Antifa featuring Mark Bray, the author of the Anti-Fascist Handbook at the Harvard Coop. He stated that they had not attended with intentions to shut down the event or disrupt it, but did ask meaningful questions about the implications of communism - such as asking if fascism that killed six million people is worse than communist fascism which has killed approximately 100 million people.
"He never answered my question, but people in the crowd recognized me because my picture was on one of the Antifa websites," Thorpe told Gateway Pundit.
The group was eventually thrown out of the event as they lightly trolled towards the end, chanting "Trump" and "build the wall."
Once outside, Thorpe said that he and his friends stuck around to attempt to have discussions with others who had attended. He stated that he had a few interesting interactions and everything was going reasonably well.
Comment: The irony of course is that it is the Antifa groups who behave like textbook fascists. As a result of their own convoluted thinking, and ponerized value system, they see any views opposed to their own in utterly black and white terms. Somebody please create a safe space for them and explain to them that they are dupes in service to the very forces they should ultimately be addressing.
I've reported for VICE, The Guardian, The Independent, and numerous other publications - including my own crowdfunded investigative journalism platform INSURGE - on the systems that enable rapacious power.
I've studied how these systems work to compound and consolidate a framework of human activity that is gradually destroying planetary life support systems.
And after over a decade and a half of this work, I've moved into an effort to build real alternatives to the status quo, like PRESSCOIN, a new cryptocurrency infrastructure for independent journalism and positive action.
Comment: While the author is seems to be primarily focused on the extraction of fossil fuels as the greatest threat to humanity, rather than psychopaths at the helm and cosmic changes, he's spot on that the liberal feel-good ideology is doing the whole of humanity a severe disservice: Confronting Your Liberal Beliefs is the Single Most Important Thing You Can Do at This Time

Mandla Mandela, grandson of Nelson Mandela, speaks to reporters in South Africa.
The grandson of the late anti-apartheid hero, former South African president Nelson Mandela, is on a "historic visit" to Israel though it seems he will not meet with Israeli officials.
A statement said Mandla Mandela, a staunch Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) supporter and member of parliament, would "hold several meetings with Palestinian leaders" but made no mention of Israeli counterparts. The Foreign Ministry appeared to corroborate the statement by saying, "We have no information on the visit."
During a joint press conference with Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah on Monday, Mandela said: "The settlements I saw here [in the West Bank] reminded me of what we had suffered in South Africa because we also were surrounded by many settlements and were not allowed to move from one place to another freely.
Palestinians are being subjected to the worst version of apartheid."
Comment: Mandela is one in a long list of public figures who have come out to say that not only is Israel an apartheid state, but that the conditions it has created for Palestinians are, in fact, far worse than apartheid South Africa ever was.

A visitor looks at a facsimile of the Isaiah Scroll, one of the Dead Sea Scrolls.
The Frankfurt Bible Museum announced the September 2019 exhibit was cancelled this week. Israel wanted the German government to guarantee the scrolls would be returned to Israel in a legally binding agreement before going ahead with the exhibition.
Germany's foreign ministry and commissioner for cultural affairs were unable to do so, as the ownership of the scrolls is not clear, Hessenschau reports. Such an agreement would have blocked Palestinians and Jordanians from claiming the scrolls as their own, according to the Jewish News Agency.
As many women have made clear, unwanted attention from men, particularly when it is the aggressive, Weinstein-esque form of sexual assault, is never fun.

Psychopaths can switch on the charm at will – but they also have filthy tempers.
Famous movie villains are often incorrectly labelled as psychopaths. You might even call your rude neighbour a psycho. And who hasn't complained about the psychopaths on the road after getting cut off in traffic?
But how can you tell if you're working with a legitimate psychopath?
Bixler, 39, alleges that when she reported her rape to officials at the Church of Scientology, which at the time counted her and Masterson as members, she was "made to feel like I didn't matter," and was told that she couldn't have been raped by a man she was in a relationship with.
"Danny Masterson is a celebrity. He flourishes and prospers in life. You protect that and reward that," she claims a church ethics officer told her, guiding her to silence.

The city's network of cameras will grow in the coming months, with as many as 150 new devices planned for major corridors and side streets, and about 50 cameras that will be placed at residential homes. Hartford already has more than 700 cameras in operation throughout the city.
New software will be used to analyze crime and traffic patterns and capture suspects. The effort is backed by $2.5 million in state funds.
Police will use the technology to crack down on quality-of-life issues, such as illegal dumping, ATVs and dirt bikes, motor vehicle violations, narcotics markets, car break-ins and larcenies.
Former National Security Agency employee Nghia H. Pho, 67, of Maryland, pleaded guilty in US District Court for the District of Maryland to one count of willful retention of national defense information, according to charges unsealed on Friday through a US Department of Justice statement.
Although Pho's offense carries a possible 10-year sentence, prosecutors in the case agreed not to seek more than eight years. Pho remains free while he awaits sentencing, which has been scheduled by US District Judge George L. Russell for April 6, 2018. Pho's attorney, Robert C. Bonsib, will also be free to inquire about a more lenient sentence for his client, the New York Times reported.
Pho, born in Vietnam, later became a naturalized American citizen, and had previously worked as a software developer for the NSA. The exact date that Pho was charged in this case has not been confirmed, however, leading up to when his charges were unsealed.
Although prosecutors working on Pho's case previously withheld many details related to his government work, in Friday's DOJ statement, prosecutors disclosed that he had worked for the NSA's "Tailored Access Operations" (TAO) unit, which focuses on infiltrating foreign computer networks, from 2006 to 2016.

Comment: The girl who cried wolf! It's looking more like these are false allegations of sexual assault in order to be released scot-free. But in this supposed 'rape culture' that we're living in, with disturbed people like Brenda Barattini, how many other sexual assault allegations are sparked from relatively benign encounters?
