Draft-age Ukrainians are unwilling to fight for President Vladimir Zelensky's "corrupt government" and avoid conscription through bribery, forgery and perilous attempts to flee to neighboring countries, the Washington Post reported on Friday.

Within days of Russian troops entering Ukraine, Zelensky ordered the country's borders sealed for men aged 18-60, stationing extra guards along the frontiers to stop potential soldiers from leaving. Now, with Zelensky's former aide claiming last week that Ukraine has lost as many as 300,000 soldiers, fresh men are in short supply.

"Honestly, we need more soldiers. The professional military personnel are running out," an assault team leader with Ukraine's 68th Brigade told the American newspaper.

Kiev has repeatedly expanded its conscription efforts, taking in older men and those previously deemed unfit to fight, while reports suggest that teenagers could soon be pressed into service. Ukrainian authorities have already dropped a rule exempting men under 28 with no previous military experience from the draft, yet several civilians in this category told the Washington Post that they have no intention of showing up.

Daily Caller reporter Mary Rooke slammed Colorado adults for allegedly silencing an 11-year-old girl who was forced to sleep in the same bed as a biological boy identifying as transgender.

Rooke appeared on "Carl Higbie Frontline" to discuss ongoing cultural topics within politics. Newsmax host Lidia Curanaj questioned Rooke on her thoughts on a recent story where Colorado parents of an 11-year-old girl claimed that their daughter was forced to share a bed with a biological boy, even after expressing that she was uncomfortable.

Rooke responded by calling out the normal response for parents "within their right mind in America," emphasizing that "all hell would break loose" if she had been in the same position.

"You know this hits home for me because I have a 12-year-old daughter and if she ever went on an overnight trip and I found out that a biological boy slept with her, in her room or she was going to be forced to — all hell would break loose," Rooke stated.

The ADF claims that the other girls in the room were not informed about the biological male in their room, and were ordered to keep quiet about it when they found out.

Jeffco policy on transgender room accommodations states that, when it comes to sleeping arrangements, the needs of a transgender student will be assessed on a 'case-by-case basis with the goals of maximizing the student's social integration, providing equal opportunity and minimizing stigmatization of the student'.

'In most cases, students who are transgender should be assigned to share overnight accommodations with other students that share the student's gender identity consistently asserted at school,' it adds

'Any alternative arrangement should be provided in a way that allows the student's transgender status to be kept confidential.'

The House passed a bill Wednesday that would neutralize one of the key policies underlying the Biden administration's electric vehicle (EV) push.

The Choice in Automobile Retail Sales (CARS) Act passed by a bipartisan vote in the legislature's lower chamber, and it will now head to the Senate. The bill would prevent the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from imposing new vehicle emissions rules that either mandate the use of a specific technology or reduce the availability of new cars based on the type of engine.

The bill passed by a 221-197 vote, with five House Democrats voting in favor alongside the Republicans. The bill is specifically designed to disallow the new tailpipe emissions standards that the EPA proposed in April; if finalized, that proposal would effectively require two-thirds of all new car sales in the U.S. to be EVs after 2032.

A Florida woman who was captured on video casually dousing Martin Luther King Jr.'s birth home in Atlanta with gasoline before allegedly attempting to set it on fire has been identified and charged.

Laneisha Shantrice Henderson, 26, has been charged with attempted arson and interfering with government property after she was seen on camera pouring the flammable liquid out of a large red fuel container and onto the porch of the historic wooden property at around 5:45 p.m. Thursday.

The footage also shows the woman — who was dressed in all-black clothing — dousing plants and emptying the liquid against the windows of the Auburn Avenue house, which is located just blocks from the King Center, King National Historical Park and the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Civilian proportion of deaths is higher than that in all world conflicts in 20th century, Haaretz newspaper says
The aerial bombing campaign by Israel in Gaza is the most indiscriminate in terms of civilian casualties in recent years, a study published by an Israeli newspaper has found.

The analysis by Haaretz came as Israeli forces fought to consolidate their control of northern Gaza on Saturday, bombing the Shejaiya district of Gaza City, while also conducting airstrikes on Rafah, a town on the southern border with Egypt where the Israeli army has told people in Gaza to take shelter.

The full death toll from the past 24 hours was unclear but the main hospital in central Gaza, at Deir al-Balah, reported it received 71 bodies, and 62 bodies were taken to Nasser hospital in the main southern city of Khan Younis, according to the Hamas-run health ministry.

More Russians than ever before feel that their living standards, local economies, and personal safety are just getting better, according to a Gallup survey published on Friday. The optimistic outlook comes despite efforts by the West to "crater" the Russian economy with sanctions.

The poll found that 56% of Russians believe that their local economy is improving, while 46% say the same about their standard of living. Both figures are the highest ever recorded by Gallup, eclipsing the previous high water mark set in 2008, when 42% were optimistic about their local economy and 40% about their standard of living.

The power outage across Sri Lanka has been due to a breakdown of the Kotmale - Biyagama transmission line, according to the reports.

According to the local media reports, power supply to several areas is being restored in the island nation.

The CEB has assured the nation that efforts are on to restore the power supply in the remaining affected areas in the next two and a half hours.

Bristol University has axed the National Anthem from its graduation ceremonies with some students claiming it is 'old-fashioned' and 'offensive to some'.

The anthem has not been played since last year's ceremony with the university saying it regularly updates its graduation ceremonies.

God Save The King will now only be played when a member of the Royal Family is present.

Some students at the 147-year-old university have suggested the National Anthem was culled because it is 'irrelevant', 'old-fashioned' or might even be 'offensive to some'.

It comes just weeks after the university vowed to remove slave trader Edward Colston's emblem from its logo, after his statue was toppled during a Black Lives Matter protest in the city in June 2020.

The Biden White House and top Democrats have denounced Palestine solidarity activists as antisemites for protesting outside an Israeli-owned restaurant in Philly. Its owner happens to be an official Israeli government propagandist with close ties to the Biden White House.

If powerful Democrats are to be believed, it was a night of shattered glass in Philadelphia, PA this December 3. Local Palestine solidarity activists calling for a ceasefire in a war that has left 16,000 civilians dead in the besieged Gaza Strip stopped for a few minutes outside an "Israeli-style" falafel shop and shouted chants accusing the business of supporting Israel's ongoing massacre. Beyond leaving a few stickers on the restaurant's windows, they did no damage and moved on.

The restaurant in question was not just some random mom-and-pop eatery that fell victim to an anti-Semitic pogrom. It is owned by celebrity chef Michael Solomonov, an Israeli government culinary ambassador who appears in Department of Justice Foreign Agent Registration Act documents as an official propagandist for the country's Ministry of Tourism.
