Leaked photo shows sick cop posing with a dead body

cop posing with body
Illustrating the sick nature of some police officers, a photo has surfaced of a cop posing with a woman's son who died in his home. The man's mother has since come forward to demand answers as to why this sicko felt it necessary to degrade her poor son in such a disgusting manner.

On August 8, Kim Staton's son, Omar Rahman, 28, was found dead in a home in Pine Lawn. The North County Police Cooperative responded to conduct an investigation, during which time the photo was taken. Since this photo, the county medical examiner ruled the Rahman's death an accidental overdose.

"I really don't know, actually, what happened to my son," she said, describing how police haven't said much to her since her son's death.

According to KTLA, now Staton says she's hurt even more. Weeks after Rahman's death, a photo, appearing to depict the scene of her son's death, was leaked. The date, Aug. 8, was the date of Rahman's death.

In the photo, the officer is wearing gloves, holding onto the arm of Rahman's body and giving a thumbs up.

Mission fail: Inquiry finds UN peacekeepers failed to protect civilians under attack by rampaging South Sudanese troops

South Sudanese civilians seek shelter at a UN site in Juba, July 12, 2016, after renewed fighting between rival troops broke out in the South Sudan capital.
United Nations peacekeepers failed to respond to an attack on civilians by South Sudanese government troops at the Hotel Terrain in the capital Juba in July, less than a mile from a U.N. compound, a U.N. inquiry found on Tuesday.

"During the attack, civilians were subjected to and witnessed gross human rights violations, including murder, intimidation, sexual violence and acts amounting to torture perpetrated by armed government soldiers," the inquiry found.

Despite multiple requests by the U.N. mission's joint operations center for peacekeepers to respond to the attack on Hotel Terrain, each "contingent turned down the request, indicating their troops were fully committed."

After nearly four hours, South Sudan's National Security Service extracted most of the civilians. However three female international aid workers were left behind and the inquiry said the peacekeeping mission was quickly made aware of this.

One of the women managed to call the U.N. mission but the security officer "was dismissive of her appeal for assistance and did not call her back when her phone credit expired."

A private security company, dispatched by an aid group, rescued the women the following morning, the inquiry said.

Heartless: 3,000 homeless people go hungry after Kansas City forces charity to destroy food

food meant homeless destroyed
Every year, for the last five years, volunteers with Kookers Kare - a group of barbecue chefs with hearts as big as their stomachs - have worked together to feed thousands of hungry homeless people. However, this year, 3,000 homeless people expecting that food, were denied it, thanks to the cold and callous hand of the state.

Every year, after the annual food festivities have finished, selfless volunteers round up thousands of pounds of leftovers from the massive cookoff and prep them for distribution to the less fortunate. Every year, this has gone off without a hitch — until this year.

After volunteers collected the food to be distributed to the homeless, the same food, which was just deemed safe enough to dish out to the cook-off attendees, was then labeled for destruction by Kansas City Health Inspectors.

Volunteers were heartbroken when they were forced to destroy "perfectly good barbecue" by covering it in bleach and then throwing it in a dumpster.

Dogs executed for killing woman, then DNA evidence exonerates them

pack of dogs
Animal Services in Dallas, Texas, euthanized seven dogs after a Dallas woman was killed in a mauling earlier this year. But according to recent forensic DNA tests, the dogs the city executed were not responsible for the attack in question.

In May, 52-year-old Antoinette Brown was killed in a vicious dog attack that included several canines. Though it was unclear which dogs were responsible for the woman's death, neighbors directed authorities toward a residence where pet dogs had reportedly escaped before.

Local outlet WFAA-News 8 reported:

"The residence had a long history of animal complaints, including the seizure of 10 dogs in 2014 and a report of an attack in progress the following year.

Workaholism: How regular overtime can lead to emotional burnout, suicide

Overwork

One of the largest advertising companies in Japan, Dentsu, has adopted a new regulation according to which all lights in its office buildings should be turned off at 10 pm. The move was prompted by the suicide of a 24-year-old employee who had to regularly work overtime. The measure is supposed to prevent workers from staying at work late at night.

The company's employee, 24-year Matsuri Takahashi, jumped out of the window of her fourth floor apartment. The reason behind her suicide was said to be severe stress due to regular overwork.

In an interview with Sputnik Japan, psychologist and director of the Institute of Applied Psychology at the Higher School of Economics, Guli Bazarova, commented on the issue and explained why such developed and high-tech country like Japan can't cope with workaholism.

SOTT Exclusive: Police State Falters as Standing Rock Protests Cause 2 Officers to Resign, Funding Dries Up

nodapl, standing rock,
First reported by Redhawk on the Standing Rock Rising Facebook page, there are now reports of two officers resigning over their actions taken at the Standing Rock Reservation against the water protectors protesting the DAPL pipeline. It's about time.
There have been at least 2 reports of police officers turning in their badges acknowledging that this battle is not what they signed up for. You can see it in some of them, that they do not support the police actions. We must keep reminding them they are welcome to put down their weapons and badge and take a stand against this pipeline as well.

Some are waking up.

-Redhawk
The actions taken against the protesters have been completely out of proportion and demonstrate how little tolerance the state has for anyone who threatens the profit margins of the mighty corporations.

Hysteria: Despite no other evidence of terrorist links, French court convicts teenager for naming Wi-Fi network 'Daesh'

An 18-year-old man from eastern France was given a three-month suspended sentence under a strict new anti-terrorism law for "publicly condoning an act of terrorism" by naming his Wi-Fi network "Daesh 21" - seemingly in reference to Islamic State.

Daesh is an Arabic acronym for Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) that is often used as a pejorative by politicians to describe the terrorist group. The number "21" likely stands for the French department of Côte d'Or, of which Dijon is the capital, local media reported.

The initial tip about the teen was received from a neighbor, who noticed a strange Service Set Identifier (SSID) of a Wi-Fi network back in July and alerted police to a possible IS sympathizer, local daily Le Bien Public reported.

The police took the threat very seriously and went to great lengths to identify the man, contacting the network operator and filing multiple inquiries as part of their exhaustive investigation, his lawyer, Karima Manhouli, told the Next Impact.

Actress Susan Sarandon: 'DNC is completely corrupt'

Actress Susan Sarandon on Thursday tore into the Democratic National Committee (DNC), calling it "completely corrupt."

"After my experience in the primary, it's very clear to me the DNC is gone," she told CNN's Carol Costello.

"Every superdelegate is a lobbyist. The way that the system is set up in terms of trying of having superdelegates — you could win a state and not get the delegates. It's crazy."
