The law was passed by the regional Legislative Assembly with a majority of 27 votes in favor on Wednesday. The five votes against the initiative came from the Five Star Movement, while 10 lawmakers abstained.
The new legislation applies to children aged 0-3 and covers vaccines dealing with diphtheria, poliomyelitis, tuberculosis, and hepatitis B.
"The law is designed to protect public health in our community, especially of the most vulnerable children, who cannot be vaccinated for health reasons, weak immune system or severe chronic conditions and thus are more exposed to infections,"the region's president, Stefano Bonaccini, said after the vote, according Italian newspaper Il Giornale.
"We are the first in Italy to adopt this measure, paving the way for other regions intending to do the same," Bonaccini added.

Abbot Phra Dhammachayo (C) arrives for a ceremony at the Wat Phra Dhammakaya temple in Pathum Thani province, north of Bangkok on Makha Bucha Day, March 4, 2015.
Police in the predominantly Buddhist country have tried several times to arrest Phra Dhammachayo, abbot of Wat Phra Dhammakaya, a futuristic-looking monastery located some 50 km (30 miles) north of Bangkok.
"Prosecutors have agreed to charge Phra Dhammachayao of Dhammakaya temple on charges of conspiracy to launder money, money laundering and receiving stolen goods," Somnuek Siangkong, spokesman of the Office of the Attorney General, told Reuters.
Thailand's Department of Special Investigation in 2015 summoned Phra Dhammachayo for questioning after his temple was accused of receiving more than 1 billion baht ($28 million) of embezzled funds.
Video footage shows dozens of protesters trying to enter the base by cutting the fence, with the aim of halting the military drills being carried out there. Demonstrators threw stones at police, who attempted to block them by firing tear gas and using batons, Ruptly reported.
Administrators at the Bank Street School for Children on the Upper West Side claim it's a novel approach to fighting discrimination, and that several other private New York schools are doing it, but even liberal parents aren't buying it.
They complain the K-8 school of 430 kids is separating whites in classes where they're made to feel awful about their "whiteness," and all the "kids of color" in other rooms where they're taught to feel proud about their race and are rewarded with treats and other privileges.
"Ever since Ferguson, the school has been increasing anti-white propaganda in its curriculum," said a parent who requested anonymity because he has children currently enrolled in the school.

A slide from the Bank School shows the different goals for white children (right) and “kids of color” (left).
Meanwhile, white kids are herded into separate classrooms and taught to raise their "awareness of the prevalence of Whiteness and privilege," challenge "notions of colorblindness (and) assumptions of 'normal,' 'good,' and 'American'" and "understand and own European ancestry and see the tie to privilege."
The same slides point out that a number of leading private schools across the country also have segregated students by "race-based affinity groups." It lists several in New York, including Riverdale Country School, Brooklyn Friends School, The Cathedral School, The Calhoun School, Ethical Culture Fieldston School, and Little Red School House and Elisabeth Irwin High School.
For the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, the peaceful fight to stop construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline isn't environmental activism; it's preservation of life, protection of a living entity — the Missouri River and Lake Oahe reservoir — as real as flesh, or plant, or animal. Opposing a potential threat of oil contamination to that water would never be a question — the Missouri has sustained generations and must sustain those to come.
But these water protectors wage this prayerful campaign of preservation with centuries of exploitation, brutalization, and genocide crisp in memory — both centuries old and as recent as Sunday night, when State agents chose the ironic weapon of water to devalue the lives of anyone daring to protect the water from careless corporate greed.
On Sunday, an attempt to clear an obstruction blocking the primary access point to the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation — the fastest route for emergency services — sparked a barbarous assault by a multi-state, inappropriately-militarized police force.
Sgt. Brian Montague said the item appeared to be a pressure cooker but was not deemed dangerous by the Vancouver Police Department Explosives Disposal Unit after an examination and x-ray of the item, local news outlet CKNW reported.
The cooker was determined to be empty and posed no risk to the public. Police are currently working to determine who left the pressure cooker on the street, and why.
Discovery of the item led to the 1200 block of West Broadway being closed and evacuated, according to CBC reporter Tanya Fletcher. Footage posted online showed police vehicles blocking the street while barricades were erected. The street was later re-opened, according to local media reports.
Comment: Who leaves a random empty pressure cooker laying around a city street? Was someone testing the system?
Making the announcement of the breach on Wednesday, the Navy said that the perpetrator has managed to get a hold of sensitive information, including the names and Social Security numbers of 134,386 current and former sailors. The Navy Criminal Investigative Service is now running an investigation into the breach. So far the probe has failed to find any evidence that could suggest misuse of the information that was compromised.
"The Navy takes this incident extremely seriously - this is a matter of trust for our Sailors," Chief of Naval Personnel Vice Adm. Robert Burke said in a statement. "We are in the early stages of investigating and are working quickly to identify and take care of those affected by this breach." The government promised to notify the affected sailors in the coming weeks and is now reviewing credit monitoring service options for affected individuals.
According to the Navy Times, this is the second major reported breach involving the Navy and Hewlett-Packard. In 2013, it was reported that Iran managed to gain access to the unclassified Navy and Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) developed by HP in 2000.
Comment: Another report mentioning the 2013 hacking incident says Iran was blamed (proven?) for a series of cyber attacks launched at Navy computers, only learned of a year later after a private contractor uncovered the theft. What does this say about the Navy's security and how does this reflect on the vulnerability of those in service?
The controversy kicked off earlier this week after the New York Times countered unfounded 'fake news' claims that a Washington, DC, pizza restaurant was home to a child abuse ring allegedly run by Hillary Clinton and her campaign head John Podesta.
There was no evidence to support the claims, but the allegations became viral - on Reddit, too, with the 'r/Pizzagate'community gaining momentum.
That's when Reddit intervened by shutting down the related 'subreddit' and posting, "We don't want witchhunts on our site."
Comment: True, there is no hard evidence of a pedophile ring. But there is a whole lot of evidence that the people involved are not paragons of virtue, to put it mildly: Progressive liberal values: Tony Podesta's creepy taste in art, the creepy people he hangs out with, and Pizzagate
Not everyone was satisfied with the step, though. The 'r/The_Donald'community was outraged and began leaving insulting comments for Reddit CEO Steve Huffman, using his Reddit username 'u/spez' to ensure he received notifications of their messages.

Comment: While institutional racism does exist, it seems this radical leftist ideology is traumatizing innocent children and presenting a really twisted view of reality.
