Susan Sarandon, Pamela Anderson and Roger Waters are leading questions over why the MSM is ignoring a leaked OPCW report contradicting the claim that Syrian President Bashar Assad carried out a chemical weapons attack in Douma.

"This is really important. Why aren't we talking about it?" actress and activist Susan Sarandon tweeted about the leaked Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons document that contradicts their official report on the chemical weapons attack in Douma, Syria in April 2018.

The 15-page document, which has been authenticated and was released by the Working Group on Syria, Propaganda and Media, revealed OPCW engineer findings that the gas canisters found at the scene of the alleged sarin attack were likely placed in position, rather than having been dropped by the Syrian army aircraft.

Navy leaders failed to address sailors' safety concerns after a sexually explicit list targeting female crewmembers surfaced aboard the service's second submarine to integrate women, resulting in the firing of a commanding officer and several other punishments.

A "rape list" was shared by members of the guided-missile submarine Florida's Gold crew, where investigators found "lewd and sexist comments and jokes were tolerated, and trust up and down the chain of command was nonexistent." That's according to a 74-page investigation into the misconduct, obtained exclusively by Military.com through a Freedom of Information Act request.

The Florida, homeported in Kings Bay, Georgia, was the second submarine to integrate enlisted women. Capt. Gregory Kercher, who became the Florida Gold crew's commanding officer about a year later, was fired in August for a loss of confidence in his ability to lead.

Iceland's Eurovision entry flies Palestinian flag, could be punished say Israeli hosts

The Israeli broadcaster of the Eurovision said Iceland could be punished for holding up Palestinian flags during live coverage of the competition's voting results.

Members of the Hatari group held up Palestinian flags with 'Palestine' written on them as the cameras were fixed on them during the announcement of their public votes at the final on Saturday night. The protest generated boos and cheers from the crowd at the Tel Aviv event, and support online.

Security quickly confiscated the flags from the band who were sitting in the green room at the time.

"The Icelanders will apparently be punished by the European Broadcasting Union, which is really not tolerant of those who violate its rules," said Eldad Koblenz, CEO of Israel's public broadcaster Khan.

Rocket falls in Baghdad's Green zone where US embassy is located, no casualties

A rocket was fired into Baghdad's fortified Green Zone where the embassies of the US and other countries are located, the Iraqi military said, adding that casualties were avoided in the incident.

"A Katyusha rocket fell in the middle of the Green Zone without causing any losses, details to come later," a statement by the military read.

"Initial reports indicate that the rocket was fired from an open field" in the southern part of the Iraqi capital, a police source told AFP.

There was a loud bang, the witnesses said, adding that sirens briefly sounded in the city after the attack.

Authorities have found an 8-year-old girl following a desperate overnight search after she was ripped away from her mother and pulled into a stranger's car on Saturday afternoon.

The girl was safely recovered by Fort Worth, Texas, police just after 2 a.m. local time Sunday, according to police. She was found safe and a suspect in the kidnapping has been taken into custody.

Police thanked the media for publicizing the incident and concerned citizens for directing them to the location of the suspect's vehicle.

Fort Worth Police Department Officer Buddy Calzada said at a press conference early Sunday that two citizens spotted the car at a local hotel and called police. Officers responded, found out what room he was staying in and breached the door.

The Trump administration wants to redefine the poverty level, which would kick hundreds of thousands with marginal incomes off welfare, while simultaneously reducing poverty rates in America.

The trick would involve changing the way inflation is calculated for yearly adjustments of the income threshold for receiving assistance like food stamps, and was first spotted by Bloomberg. The Trump administration is again determined to hurt those already living on the brink, comedian Lee Camp says in the latest installment of Redacted Tonight.
"It's like you see someone drowning and instead of helping them you redefine them as not drowning, but instead heading off to a watery vacation that will last forever. Then you can happily go on with your day without worrying about your loafers getting wet."

Author Fran Lebowitz shot her mouth off about President Trump on Friday night during an appearance on Bill Maher's weekly late-night show.
Liberal author Fran Lebowitz went to the extreme Friday night during an appearance on "Real Time with Bill Maher," suggesting that President Trump should not only be impeached but killed.

Lebowitz began by saying she felt "plagued" by Trump's presidency and "shocked" by what she claimed was criminal behavior by Attorney General William Barr over his handling of the Mueller report.

But when she was asked about impeachment, Lebowitz did not think that was enough punishment for the president, who has not been charged with any crimes.

Fran Lebowitz apologized for people 'misinterpreting' her suggestion President Donald Trump be turned "over to the Saudis" so they can "do the same for him" as they did to murdered journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

"We should turn him over to the Saudis, his buddies. The same Saudis who got rid of that reporter. Maybe they could do the same for him."




Lebowitz was alerted to the furore her idea generated by the show's producers and apologized during the 'Overtime' segment after the main Real Time with Bill Maher show.

"I saw your face when I said it," she told Maher, after suggesting it was the producers who wanted her to apologize. "I didn't realize that I had said it. I had 12 cups of coffee. I regret saying it."

"I did not mean that, and I regret saying it, I regret that everyone misrepresented it because they misinterpret everything," the author added when pressed by Maher.


Many viewers were unimpressed by Lebowitz's apology and enraged by her statements about Trump. Some appeared to enjoy Lebowitz's sentiment, while others criticized Maher for "throwing her under the bus."

Amazon.com Inc is rolling out machines to automate a job held by thousands of its workers: boxing up customer orders.

The company started adding technology to a handful of warehouses in recent years that scans goods coming down a conveyor belt and envelops them seconds later in boxes custom-built for each item, two people who worked on the project told Reuters.

Amazon has considered installing two machines at dozens more warehouses, removing at least 24 roles at each one, these people said. These facilities typically employ more than 2,000 people.

That would amount to more than 1,300 cuts across 55 U.S. fulfillment centers for standard-sized inventory. Amazon would expect to recover the costs in under two years, at $1 million per machine plus operational expenses, they said.

A Colorado man who survived the 1999 Columbine school shooting and later became an advocate for fighting addiction has died.

Routt County Coroner Robert Ryg said Saturday that 37-year-old Austin Eubanks died overnight at his Steamboat Springs home.

There were no signs of foul play. A Monday autopsy was planned to determine the cause of death.
