Judge restores unvaccinated mother's rights to see son

judge
Cook County, Ill., Judge James Shapiro has restored Rebecca Firlit's rights to see her 11-year-old son after previously revoking the privilege until she got vaccinated against the coronavirus.

Shapiro earlier this month gave custody of Firlit's son to her vaccinated ex-husband. The couple has been divorced for seven years and were previously sharing custody, according to the the Chicago Sun-Times.

On Monday, however, the judge revoked his previous order that barred Firlit from seeing her son, according to the Sun-Times.

"This court hereby VACATES paragraph 3 of its August 11, 2021 order based on the absence of a pleading or hearing on serious endangerment," Shapiro's order reportedly said.

Comment: Although this mother's rights were restored, the direction of where everyone is being moved is pretty clear. Fanaticism, fear and authoritarianism are among the strongest forces that break down everything from a stable system of justice to the family unit.

FBI investigating possible terror link in shooting of Texas Lyft driver, targeting of police station

Imran Ali Rasheed Isabella Lewis
The FBI is investigating whether a Texas man accused of fatally shooting a female Lyft driver and then opening fire in a police station was inspired by foreign terrorists.

Imran Ali Rasheed, 33, left a letter indicating he "may have been inspired by a foreign terrorist organization," said Matthew DeSarno, special agent in charge of the FBI's Dallas office.

"At this point, we do not believe that the suspect, Imran Ali Rasheed, was provided assistance by others or that others were involved in these incidents. However, it is our top investigative priority to fully determine the extent of his relationships and contacts," the FBI's Dallas office tweeted Monday.

Rasheed ordered a Lyft share ride on Sunday in Garland, and then fatally shot driver Isabella Lewis. Police then found Lewis's car at a police station in Plano where Rasheed opened fire in the lobby and was subsequently fatally shot by police.

Ninety countries have received "assurances" from the Taliban that anybody wishing to leave Afghanistan after tomorrow's deadline will be granted "safe passage" to do so, according to a joint statement signed by the countries yesterday.

British and French troops have already left Kabul and US military personnel will be out of Afghanistan before the August 31 date set by President Joe Biden, raising fears for thousands of Afghans eligible for evacuation still trapped.

The joint statement said:
"We have received assurances from the Taliban that all foreign nationals and any Afghan citizen with travel authorisation from our countries will be allowed to proceed in a safe and orderly manner to points of departure and travel outside the country.

"We have the clear expectation of and commitment from the Taliban that they can travel to our respective countries. We note the public statements of the Taliban confirming this."
Some Afghans however have said they gave little credence to such "assurances".

13-year-old receives his second dose of vaccine
Those who've had 3rd dose, or 2nd dose within past half-year, will be exempt from full 7-day quarantine when returning from abroad with 'Green Pass' to expire 6 months after last dose

Israel on Sunday made booster doses of the COVID-19 vaccine available to everyone age 12 and up who received the second shot at least five months ago, in an effort to combat spiraling coronavirus infections.

"From today the third dose is available to everyone," Health Ministry Director-General Nachman Ash said. The new policy is effective immediately and those eligible should set up appointments with their health providers, the Health Ministry said.

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett urged all Israelis to get the booster. "This is a privilege that no other country has," he said Sunday, after the new policy was announced.

Israel — the first country to officially offer a third dose — began its COVID booster campaign on August 1, rolling it out to all those over age 60. It then gradually dropped the eligibility age, expanding it last week to anyone 30 and older. As of Sunday, over 1.9 million Israelis had received the third dose.

Coronavirus NOT leading cause of death in UK, four times as many lives lost to heart disease, dementia, cancer

coronavirus

The most striking finding is that, despite the prevailing focus on the dangers of Covid, it is killing very few people compared to other deadly conditions
Is it time to stop obsessing over Covid figures? Statistics reveal virus is NOT the biggest killer - with heart disease, dementia and cancer each claiming four times as many lives in an average week last month

They're the figures that have ruled our lives for the past 18 months; decided our freedoms; deepened our fears.

The Covid dashboard published on the UK Government website has offered the public a window into the state of the UK's epidemic, displaying daily Covid cases, hospitalisations and deaths, both nationally and regionally, since April 2020.

Some people have avoided looking at the figures - published at 4pm every day, including weekends. But a surprising number of us have become secretly addicted to poring over them.

Showering with biological men: Female inmates in US & UK recount sexual abuse from 'trans' prisoners

Women in the US and UK who were forced to live alongside biological men in prison have told RT that policies designed to protect transgender rights have led to violence and sexual assault against female inmates.

Tomieka Johnson was sentenced to 50 years behind bars by a California court in 2012 after she killed her abusive husband during a physical altercation. Johnson, a former highway patrol officer, told RT that she shared a cell with with a transgender prisoner who was "very violent and very vulgar." The inmate would reportedly force women in the prison to clean the bathroom and wash the floors, leading to interactions that reminded Johnson of the domestic abuse she once suffered.

And although the inmate in question identified as a woman, the biological male allegedly had a girlfriend whom he would "beat" and "choke" regularly. According to Johnson, the prisoner in question sometimes became violent if his 'girlfriend' rejected his sexual advances.

Comment: It is absolutely insane that judges would be more interested in virtue signalling to the trans lobby than providing safety of female prisoners. It's already egregious to have biological males invading women's spaces in the wider world, but in prison these women have nowhere to escape to. It's disgusting.

Green gets the gold: The high-stakes game of waste and recycling industries in North America

Can you name the conglomerate that has equipment and trucks on many streets and construction sites in Ontario and elsewhere in North America -- but that few people give a second thought to?

Not sure?

Here are three clues.
  1. For more than a decade the enterprise has quietly acquired scores of other companies, and scooped up hundreds of lucrative contracts from cities and towns across the continent.
  2. Along the way it's significantly increased the privatization and vertical integration of sectors including the hauling and processing of garbage and recycling, and infrastructure development. It now has the bronze position among the top players in the North American waste-management industry.
  3. Canada and the U.S. are dotted with (as an educated guesstimate) about 10,000 of this group of firms' vehicles and machinery. They're all painted lime green.

The FBI allegedly paid a publisher of white supremacist literature more than $144,000 over 16-plus years to serve as a confidential informant, according to recent filings in an ongoing domestic extremism case.

These allegations were made earlier this month by Kaleb Cole, an accused member of the white supremacist group Atomwaffen. Cole was arrested in February 2020 for allegedly participating in an Atomwaffen intimidation campaign against Jewish people and journalists of color.

On Aug. 13, Cole filed a motion to suppress evidence seized during the FBI's search of his Texas home. According to Cole, the FBI failed to disclose the sordid background of one of its confidential informants in the bureau's application for a search warrant.

The media's addiction to Covid-19 'fear porn' is perpetuating an ever-worsening cycle of societal damage across the world

UK papers in December 2020
Over the past year and a half, hysterical media reporting on matters Covid-19 has reduced some people to a fearful state of unquestioning compliance - including a great number of otherwise critically-thinking journalists.

With screaming headlines in bold and large font such as, 'Will this nightmare ever end?' and 'Mutant virus skyrockets...' and 'Fear grows across the country: VIRUS PANIC', and 'Coronavirus horror: Social media footage shows infected Wuhan residents 'act like zombies', it is no wonder many people are in a state of panic.

In times when many are suffering mentally and physically under unnecessary and prolonged lockdowns, the incessant fear porn is causing excessive anxiety, which in turn will affect the health & mental well-being of some, if not many.
