Western leaders like to talk about returning Crimea to Ukraine. However, the reality is that such a move would be against the will of the local population. Somehow, Russia and the West need to find a solution to this impasse.

"Crimea is ours!" Seven years ago this week, that cry resounded across Russia, following what people in the West call the "annexation" of Crimea but what Russians prefer to call the "reunification" of Russia and Crimea. The annexation/reunification, or "reabsorption," if you prefer, had serious ramifications.

For Ukraine, they were disastrous. For Russia's international relations, they were bad. But for the people of Crimea itself, they have proven to be largely positive.

The U.S. government plans to use the downtown Dallas convention center to hold up to 3,000 immigrant teenagers as sharply higher numbers of border crossings have severely strained the current capacity to hold youths, according to a memo obtained by The Associated Press.

The Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center will be used for up to 90 days beginning as early as this week, according to written notification sent to members of the Dallas City Council on Monday. Federal agencies will use the facility to house boys ages 15 to 17, according to the memo, which describes the soon-to-open site as a "decompression center."

U.S. Health and Human Services is rushing to open facilities across the country to house immigrant children who are otherwise being held by the U.S. Border Patrol, which is generally supposed to detain children for no more than three days. The Border Patrol is holding children longer because there is next to no space in the HHS system, similar to the last major increase in migration two years ago.

A tent facility operated by the Border Patrol in Donna, some 165 miles (265 kilometers) south of Dallas, is holding more than 1,000 children and teenagers, some as young as 4. Lawyers who inspect immigrant detention facilities under a court settlement say they interviewed children who reported being held in packed conditions in the tent, with some sleeping on the floor and others not able to shower for five days.

Comment: It's not just unaccompanied kids, at least according to House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and other Republicans. According to him, some foreign nationals on the "terror watchlist" having been attempting to cross the border.
Four foreign nationals, whose names match those on the terror watch list, have been stopped trying to enter the U.S. via the southern border since October, a congressional aide familiar with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) information told Fox News.

That information shows that three migrants from Yemen and one from Serbia were picked up at the southern border by U.S. Border Patrol since the beginning of the fiscal year in October.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy said on Monday, during a visit to the border, that Border Patrol agents had been warning lawmakers about foreign nationals on the terror watch list getting in.

McCarthy said migrants were coming from Yemen, China, Sri Lanka and Iran. Border Patrol agents arrested 11 Iranian citizens in Arizona last month.

Rep. John Katko, the ranking member on the House Homeland Security Committee, recounted a similar conversation with a Border Patrol official.

"And he said some of them are on the list. And I said list? And he said, 'yeah, the terror watch list.' And I was stunned and I've never heard that before," he said on "America's Newsroom."
Terrorists crossing the border has been a Republican talking point for some years now, but much nothing has come of it aside from anecdotes like those above.

With the mounting crisis of numbers on the border, the Biden administration has attempted to ban Border Patrol agents from speaking with the media, with a verbal, unofficial 'gag order':
Those who are allowed to speak can only use "approved messaging," the Washington Examiner reported, while NBC said that even local reporters in border areas are referred to CBP's Washington office for answers to their questions.

Critical Race Theory, often abbreviated as CRT, is an academic theory which rejects traditional liberal notions of civil rights in favour of critical theory-inspired identity politics.

Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced on Wednesday that the state's education curriculum would not be teaching any Critical Race Theory in the classroom.

"Florida's civics curriculum will incorporate foundational concepts with the best materials, and it will expressly exclude unsanctioned narratives like Critical Race Theory and other unsubstantiated theories" DeSantis declared to a round of applause.

Comment: Bravo to deSantis for standing up to this pernicious pile of twaddle. It has caused serious damage to the social fabric of the country which may take decades to repair.

Previously, Tanzanian President John Magufuli was rumored to be infected with the COVID-19 novel coronavirus, as he remained out of public sight since late February. "I want to assure the Tanzanians that their president is fit and working hard as usual," Prime Minister Kassim Majaliw said last week amid reports of his death.

Tanzania's Vice President Samia Sulhu Hassan confirmed Wednesday that Magufuli, the fifth president of Tanzania, died around noon, following complications from a myocardial infarction, or heart attack.

"At around 12 p.m. [local time] we lost our courageous leader the President of the United Republic of Tanzania Hon. Dr. John Pombe Joseph Magufuli who has died of a heart attack at Mzena Hospital in Dar es Salaam," the vice president said, according to a Google translation.

Like Magufuli, Burundi's president Nkurunziza was warning his people that The Covid was being used as a Trojan Horse.

Magufuli publicly criticized the accuracy of PCR tests last year, and he was also recently warning the Tanzanian people against Covid-19 vaccines.

Are their deaths-by-sudden-heart-attacks coincidental, or were one (or both) of them deliberately targeted in some way for going against the 'official' Covid narrative?

St Patrick's Day is a good time for reflection for Irish people all over the world.

It is also a good day to acknowledge the death of a nation and an appropriate time to remember how delinquents within our own country are laying waste to an ancient land and its values. It is a perfect time to take a look in the mirror and ask why we have allowed a small percentage of slithering reptiles to sabotage and hijack our nation, while the future of our children hangs in the balance. St Patrick's Day should be a day to celebrate the culture and history of a unique nation of people. Instead, it is a day of mourning, as the very things that make us Irish have been stripped away from us. The cosy pubs, the sing-songs, the family get-togethers, the friendly fireside camaraderie, the banter, the craic, the dancing, - all gone, given away; with consent and complacency.

Well, not quite the dancing.....

As the slithering reptiles betray the people and bow to the demands of those who own them, they rely on a faction within our population to enforce their criminality. The Masonic Irish political mafia depends on the willful ignorance of useful idiots to crush dissent, while they pursue their agenda. These useful idiots, in Ireland, are known as the Garda Siochana. They are tasked with enforcement of tyranny as those same slithering reptiles construct a prison for society. The Garda Siochana adhere to the orders, thus allowing this nightmarish, dystopian future to be built. That same nightmarish, dystopian future that the members of the Garda Siochana are helping to build is the very one that their own children and grandchildren will have to suffer. The Garda Siochana will have a responsibility, each member individually, to look into their children's eyes someday and explain to them their reasoning. They will have to answer, 'why did you assist in building this hellhole?' They will have to find an answer to the question 'what were you doing when they were taking our freedoms and liberties?'. And they will respond;

A 21-year-old Woodstock, Georgia man went on a killing spree that left eight dead and another wounded at three separate spas in the Atlanta area on Tuesday, authorities say.

Robert Aaron Long was taken into custody after 8 p.m. by the Crisp County Sheriff's Office hours after the shootings began. The Cherokee County Sheriff told WSB-TV on Wednesday morning that Long specifically picked the locations, but the suspect did not indicate whether race motivated the killings.

The first shooting occurred at Young's Asian Massage Parlor in Acworth, north of Atlanta. Four people were killed. Less than an hour later, the shooter allegedly targeted Gold Spa and Aromatherapy Spa in Atlanta proper. Those businesses were across the street from one another. Four more people were killed.

"Video footage from our Video Integration Center places the Cherokee County suspect's vehicle in the area, around the time of our Piedmont Road shootings," the Atlanta Police Department said in a news release. "That, along with video evidence viewed by investigators, suggests it is extremely likely our suspect is the same as Cherokee County's, who is in custody. Because of this, an investigator from APD is in Cherokee County and we are working closely with them to confirm with certainty our cases are related." [...]

Deputies were called to Young's Asian Massage near Acworth, Georgia, for reports of a shooting, Cherokee County Sheriff's spokesperson Jay Baker said. Responding deputies found five people with gunshot wounds. Two people were pronounced dead at the scene and three were transported to a hospital, where two died, Baker said. [...]

Atlanta police said they responded to a robbery call at the Gold Massage Spa on Piedmont Road in Atlanta and found three people dead.

While there, police received another call of shots fired directly across the street at the Aroma Therapy Spa, where they found one person dead, Atlanta Police Chief Rodney Bryant said.
The weirdest thing about this atrocity is that it comes just as US MSM is forced to acknowledge the explosion of Asian hate crimes in recent years, the overwhelming majority of which are committed by Blacks.

The downing of Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 was caused by the mistake of an Iranian air defense operator, poised for attacks in the wake of the killing of General Soleimani, Iran's civil aviation body has said.

All 176 passengers and crew died in the incident in January last year, when the plane was hit by two missiles after it was wrongly identified as a hostile target, Iran's Civil Aviation Organization said on Wednesday, in its final report into the crash.

"The plane was identified as a hostile target due to a mistake by the air defence operator...near Tehran and two missiles were fired at it," the report said.
