These 'fake' models are putting human models out of work

fake model
Every season the French fashion house Balmain recruits new faces to join their 'Balmain Army' and this season is no different. Except for the fact that the models are all CGI. That's right, they aren't real.

The brainchild of the label, creative director Olivier Rousteing, used technology to create a virtual version of his #BalmainArmy. The army consists of three models; Shudu, Margot and Zhi.

Hebrew graffiti was also scrawled across the walls of Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish which denounces the worship of 'false gods'.

An adviser to the Catholic Church has now blamed Jewish extremists for the 'deplorable' attack after Israeli police said there is a 'strong possibility' the fire was started deliberately.

Comment: Christians under continuous, violent attacks from Jewish groups in Jerusalem
Desecration and vandalism are what Christians in Jerusalem are suffering at the hands of highly organized Jewish groups. An unprecedented number of churches as well as holy sites are reporting increased violence against priests and parishioners who are being assaulted and attacked.

The methods of attack vary from vandalism, verbal abuse, individual attacks and what's called "aggressive property acquisition." All committed by Jewish settlers.

Serena Williams' history of abusive behavior makes a mockery of her status as a role model

An entitled prima-donna
After her controversial US Open defeat on Saturday, Serena Williams was defiant. She had been robbed of the chance to win a record-equaling 24th Grand Slam title by a "sexist" umpire - "a thief," as she branded him.

Williams, in her mind, was clearly the victim. She had lost to Naomi Osaka not merely because the Japanese 20-year-old was better, but because Williams had been forced to contend with an umpire, Carlos Ramos, who was on a mission to sabotage her chances of a comeback by issuing her with code violations in the second set.

"I just feel like the fact that I have to go through this is an example for the next person that has emotions that wants to express themselves, that wants to be a strong woman and they're going to be allowed to do that because of today," Williams said in the midst of the controversy.

"Maybe it didn't work out for me, but it's going to work out for the next person."

But where exactly was the injustice she was so bitterly complaining about on Saturday night?

A look at each of the calls that so infuriated Williams shows that the umpire was correct.

Warnings of impending economic disaster now being made by mainstream media

economy rip
Are we on the verge of another great financial crisis, a devastating recession and a horrific implosion of the global debt bubble? On my website I have been relentlessly warning my readers about the inevitable consequences of our very foolish actions, but now the mainstream media is beginning to sound just like The Economic Collapse Blog. The coming crisis is so close now that a lot of them are starting to see it, and of course economic disaster is already a reality for much of the rest of the planet. For years, the mainstream media told us that things would get better, and in a lot of ways we did see some improvement. But now the tone of the mainstream media has become quite ominous, and that is definitely not a positive sign. The following are 8 examples of mainstream media sources warning us of imminent economic disaster...

China's Alibaba and Russian tech firm Mail.ru announce joint venture at Vladivostok economic forum

Alibaba joint venture Mail.ru

Alibaba Group Executive Chairman Jack Ma during a signing ceremony at the Eastern Economic Forum.
Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba is setting up a joint venture with the Russian Direct Investment Fund, mobile operator Megafon, and internet group Mail.ru. The deal was struck at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Russia.

The companies announced that Alibaba will contribute its AliExpress Russia e-commerce website to the joint venture. Russian mobile operator Megafon will swap a 10-percent stake in Mail.ru for a 24-percent stake in AliExpress Russia.

The partnership will be backed by Russia's sovereign-wealth fund, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), which will acquire a 13-percent stake in AliExpress.

Alibaba Group President Michael Evans called the joint venture "an exciting step in Alibaba's international expansion."

"By partnering with Russia's leading consumer internet platform, AliExpress Russia will help digitize and transform the retail value chain in Russia, enabling a seamless and innovative experience for consumers as well as creating significant opportunities for Russian entrepreneurs and SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) to grow in their home market and expand globally," Evans said when announcing the deal.

Evans added that the Alibaba Group's "experience in China and other markets around the world makes us uniquely qualified to help build the future infrastructure of commerce in Russia and neighboring countries."

Israeli police fire teargas & sound bombs on Palestinian schools, kindergartens

Israel police
Dozens of Palestinian students on Monday choked on teargas when the Israeli police fired teargas canisters in the vicinity of al-Quds University, as well as some schools and kindergartens in Abu Dis town, east of Jerusalem.

Activist Hani Halabiya told Quds Press that Israeli police forces stormed Abu Dis town in the morning for a "security mission" that was not announced.

Halabiya said that Palestinian citizens of Abu Dis clashed with police forces who fired teargas canisters and sound bombs in the area upon students' arrival at their schools in the early morning hours.

Comment: This is not the first time al-Quds University has come under attack. Ma'an News Agency reports:
Al-Quds University, along with other Palestinian universities, has been subjected to numerous Israeli military raids in the past.

The university was raided several times throughout the years, when Israeli forces destroyed school's property, injured scores of students during clashes, confiscated the school's equipment and documents and even staged a raid during a book fair for students in need, proceeding to destroy and confiscate all of the contents of the fair meant for struggling, low-income students.
While Israelis raze villages and target schoolchildren with tear gas, the Trump Administration has, in all seriousness, announced that it will close Washington's PLO office because Palestinians have not taken "steps to advance the start of direct and meaningful negotiations with Israel."

Ratings plunge for Miss America pageant after it nixes bikini contest

Television viewership for the Miss America pageant has mysteriously dried up after the contest discontinued the part of the show where the young ladies scamper about in revealing swimsuits. Instead Americans watched football.

The 98th Miss America pageant faced-off with the first football game of the season in the primetime TV spot, with the giant, spandex-clad men clobbering the properly clothed, poem-reciting pageant contestants. It wasn't even close.

The number of viewers who tuned in to the ABC's screening of the beauty competition plummeted 36 percent in ratings compared to last year - which was already a record-low performance. Last year's beauty contest also squared off against the first Sunday of the NFL regular season - but at least there were supple young ladies wearing bikinis back then.

Comment: At least they're all still women - for now.

Truth or troll? Denver airport's new ads rile up conspiracy theorists

Poster at Denver international airport questioning what is really going on.
If you pass through the great hall of Denver airport in Colorado this weekend, you won't fail to notice the huge amount of building work going on there. Or at least ... it looks like building work.

Large posters, placed on hoardings around the terminal, cast doubt on what's really going on. One reads: "Construction? Or cover up?" and features Illuminati insignia on a yellow hard hat. Another shows a reptile head poking out of a suit and asks: "What are we doing?" It offers three potential answers, one of which is: "Remodelling the lizard people's lair."

Japan's macabre 'Twitter killer' indicted on 9 counts of murder sentenced to death by hanging

Takahiro Shiraishi

Takahiro Shiraishi (C) covers his face with his hands, Tokyo on November 1, 2017.
Zama, a sleepy suburb in southwestern Tokyo was plagued by a series of disappearances of women and girls as young as 16 in late summer 2017. Ultimately, it was the foul stench of human remains which led police to the victims.

While searching for missing 23-year-old Aiko Tamura, neighbors called the police after noticing a profound and acrid smell emanating from a nearby apartment; The tenant had only just moved there just two months previously, having left his family home within the same suburb.

When police arrived on the scene and entered the apartment on Halloween morning 2017, they happened upon a gruesome scene worthy of the most sinister and macabre horror fiction ever conceived: Two severed heads, a dismembered pair of arms and legs and the bloodied saw used to wrest them from the remaining decaying corpses.

The apartment would soon be dubbed the 'house of horrors' in Japanese media, and for good reason: body parts were found stored in cooler and tool boxes strewn throughout the apartment and sprinkled with cat litter in a vain attempt to hide the putrid scent of decay.
