Broward County Sheriff's Office Deputy Willard Miller was arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019, for allegedly slamming a 15-year-old girl.
A Florida officer was arrested on Tuesday after video appeared to show him slamming a female student to the ground at a school for children with emotional and behavioral disabilities.

Surveillance footage released by the Broward Sheriff's Office shows Deputy Willard Miller, who was working as a school resource officer at Cross Creek School in Pompano Beach, grabbing a 15-year-old student by the neck and throwing her to the ground.

Miller, 38, turned himself in on Tuesday and was charged with one count of child abuse without great bodily harm, a felony, according to the sheriff's office, which released video of the Sept. 25 incident on Tuesday.

The office's Internal Affairs Division launched an investigation "upon immediate review of the video" on Sept. 27 and placed Miller on restricted administrative assignment, the office said in a statement.

After further investigation, detectives formally presented the case to the State Attorney's Office on Oct. 23. He was suspended without pay on Oct. 28.

Comment: Its bad enough when an officer acts in this way at a regular school - but in a school for children with emotional and behavioral disabilities ?! What the heck kind of training are these people getting??

James Younger
James Younger, the 7-year-old at the center of the transgender custody battle, has decided to attend school as a boy.

Younger's father, Jeffrey Younger, was blocked by a Texas judge after refusing to cooperate with the child's mother, Anne Georgulas, as she allowed the child to transition from male to female.

Georgulas claimed James Younger identified as a woman and wanted to be called Luna, something Jeffery Younger refused to do.

Judge Kim Cooks placed both parents under a gag order and granted joint managing conservatorship to both parents in late October, meaning they must both consent to any medical treatments their children are given.

Comment: It was only though public outcry that a probably mentally-disturbed mother was prevented from forcing her delusions on an innocent child. Kudos to the father who fought for his child's right to be who he is.

San Diego International Airport paged someone with the name "Epstein Coverup," as the viral meme relating to the suspicious "suicide" of the billionaire sex trafficker continues to spread.

A video posted to Twitter shows the text, "Airport is paging Epstein Coverup please meet your party at terminal two east by American Airlines" appearing on the airport's message board.

A group of around 30 masked Israeli settlers attacked Israeli and international human rights activists on Wednesday, beating them with crowbars while they were protecting Palestinian farmers trying to harvest olives in the village of Burin, in the West Bank.

Eighty year old Rabbi Moshe Yehudai told reporters that he "feared for his life" as he was beaten mercilessly on the head, arm and shoulders. He was one of five Israeli human rights activists who was beaten in the attack.

Yehudai was rushed to hospital with severe head injuries and a broken arm.

Yehudai is a member of Rabbis for Human Rights, a group made up of Israeli and international Rabbis and supporters that engage in human rights accompaniment in the West Bank, especially in areas known for Israeli settler violence.

According to local sources, more than 30 masked Israeli settlers came running into the olive grove where the harvest was going on, and began beating the Palestinian farmers, Israeli rabbis and international human rights activists.

While being treated for his injuries, Yehudai told reporters from the Times of Israel, "Suddenly, the settlers came with their faces [covered]. They started running at us, they surrounded me, threw rocks at me, hit me with crowbars, giving me a head injury. I told them I'm 80 years old. Leave me alone."

But the settlers kept coming and beating him and the other activists and observers.

Comment: Another in a very long line of despicable and psychopathic acts coming from Israeli settlers and their politically and religiously pathological brethren. Hardly a day goes by without us hearing of another gut-wrenching and sickening story that is consistent with this type of behavior in Israel.

Mexico's President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador took office in December, promising not to repeat the "failed policies" of past administrations that have done little to stem a tide of drug-related violence that cost some 29,000 lives last year.

But events in the states of Sinaloa, Michoacan and Guerrero this past week, including two mass killings and an all-out gun battle on Thursday that saw security forces overwhelmed by cartel gunmen, have raised questions about the effectiveness of his new security strategy.

On Monday, cartel hitmen shot dead at least 13 police in an ambush in Aguililla in the western state of Michoacan, long convulsed by turf wars between drug gangs, latterly the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) and its enemies.

The "Epstein didn't kill himself" narrative is now so viral that it was highlighted by PewDiePie in one of his recent meme review videos.

The world's number one YouTuber reviewed a series of memes that contained completely unrelated, out of context content and then ended with the phrase "Epstein didn't kill himself."

These included a meme about boiling oranges to make your house smell like fall, one about eating candy corn, and another which ended with Pewds reading out the words, "Jeffrey Epstein was murdered to protect the names of elitist pedophiles who run the world."

Comment: These "Epstein didn't kill himself" memes may be single-handedly responsible for keeping awareness of the controversial story in the public's consciousness when the mainstream media essentially tried to bury it. Project Veritas' latest release is keeping the fire burning. Overall, the public seems unwilling to let this one go, as those at the top of the pyramid would most likely like to see.

Comment: This is indicative of the LGBT+ movement who feel they have to take everything and make it about gender/sexuality. The fact that they feel it's their right to hijack any existing movement or tradition and subvert it for their own purposes screams of entitlement.

On Tuesday, a paper signed by more than 11,000 scientists declaring a climate emergency was published in the journal BioScience.

The signatories included climate scientists and researchers from other fields, such as microbiology, glaciology and oceanography.

However, at least one name on the list is raising questions: Micky (sic) Mouse from the Micky Mouse Institute for the Blind in Namibia.

When asked how Micky made it on the list, William Ripple, one of the authors of the paper, said in an email that he and his colleagues used a four-step process to check the signatures but that this one seems to have "slipped through our checks."

Comment: Whenever you have a petition open to the public, you're bound to get some trolls from the opposition. This isn't really the issue (unless there are enough fake entries to put a significant dent in the total number of signatories). What is more egregious is that many of the signatories appear to have nothing to do with climate science or its related fields. If the petition wants to use Science™ to lend it credibility, it darn well better make sure its '11,000' signatories are actual scientists in related fields. Otherwise, they might as well have polled Guardian readers.

Dr. Joel Smithers was convicted of more than 800 counts of illegally prescribing opioids, and jurors found that the drugs he prescribed caused the death of a woman.

A Virginia doctor who prescribed more than 500,000 doses of opioids in two years was sentenced to 40 years in prison on Wednesday for leading what prosecutors called an interstate drug distribution ring.

The overprescription of painkillers is one of the roots of the nation's opioid crisis, and patients of Dr. Joel Smithers traveled hundreds of miles from neighboring states to pick up oxymorphone, oxycodone, hydromorphone and fentanyl, according to law enforcement officials. They said he prescribed controlled substances to every patient in the Martinsville, Va., practice he opened in August 2015.

Comment: It's nice that Americans have started waking up to the fact that there are some very bad people perpetuating the opioid crisis in their country and are taking steps to bring them to justice. But until this problem is cut off at the head, the pharmaceutical companies that are producing and pushing the drugs, the problem is likely to remain.

California conservatives are leaving the state in droves over what the LA Times describes as their "disenchantment with deep-blue California's liberal political culture," not to mention "high taxes, lukewarm support for local law enforcement, and policies they believe have thrown open the doors to illegal immigration."
Just over half of California's registered voters have considered leaving the state, according to a UC Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies poll conducted for the Los Angeles Times. Republicans and conservative voters were nearly three times as likely as their Democratic or liberal counterparts to seriously have considered moving — 40% compared with 14%, the poll found. Conservatives mentioned taxes and California's political culture as a reason for leaving more frequently than they cited the state's soaring housing costs. - LA Times
Former Californians Richard and Judy Stark had no regrets as they left their Modesto home, towing a U-Haul trailer with their Volkswagen SUV 1,300 miles to Amarillo, Texas. After finding the website Conservative Move, the Starks put their home up for sale around six months ago and bought a newly constructed three-bedroom home in the suburb of McKinney for around $300,000. According to Stark, a similar home in California would cost around twice as much.

"We're moving to redder pastures," said the 71-year-old. "We're getting with people who believe in the same political agenda that we do: America first, Americans first, law and order."
