An Idaho woman has lost custody of her children after she gave her three-year-old daughter a smoothie containing marijuana to cease the girl's repeated seizures. "It was my last resort," the woman said.

Kelsey Osborne, 23, pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor count of injury to a child. She said she was trying to treat her daughter Madyson, who suffers from seizures and has taken medication to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, according to local reports.

In early October, Madyson was experiencing a particularly acute series of seizures. At the time, she was withdrawing from antipsychotic medication Risperdal, according to KTVB. Madyson had been given the medication off and on, the Times-News reported in October. Madyson's symptoms worsened overnight, Osborne said, so she made a smoothie containing marijuana to calm her daughter.

Within around 30 minutes, Madyson did calm down and the seizure-like symptoms dissipated, Osborne told the Times-News.

Madyson had a doctor's appointment later in the day, during which she tested positive for marijuana. The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare was then notified by a doctor, according to reports.

Civil rights group LatinoJustice has launched a smartphone voter protection app that helps citizens report violations while voting in the 2016 elections. By Monday lunchtime, nearly 1,500 people had downloaded the app.

The app Cada Voto Cuenta will allow voters to immediately report voting rights violations they might encounter on election day. Using the app, voters can fill out a report that is immediately sent to LatinoJustice for a legal voting rights review. Early voting has already taken place in North Carolina, Texas and Florida.

"What I have been hearing from the field, we have an office in Orlando, Florida, where there are accounts of major participation rates, especially in Latino concentrated neighborhoods in that part of the state, we've not had any problems to date. That's good news for early voting. Early voting eases the pressure and the tension administratively on all local boards," Juan Cartagena, president and general counsel of LatinoJustice told RT.

"But we all know the biggest surge, historically, has been on election day."

This election day, over 200 million citizens have registered to vote, with 50 million new voters since the 2012 elections.

Fallujah 12 years on: American military's use of DU has caused deadly health affects

November 7 marks 12 years since the second battle of Fallujah was launched by US, Iraqi, and British troops in 2004. Fallujah residents still suffer from the consequences today, with many accusing Washington of using deadly depleted uranium weapons.

According to some reports, chemical weapons may have been used during the battle, also known as Operation Al Fajr and Operation Phantom Fury, which is considered the bloodiest of the Iraq War.

A number of scientists have linked an increased rate of health problems in the Fallujah population to the US-led attacks, including birth defects and cancer.

Another protest in retaliation to provocative acts in Britain and Ireland last week over Russia's involvement in Syria has taken place in the Russian capital.

Some 300 people gathered on Monday outside the British embassy in central Moscow. The protest - which was reportedly unsanctioned by the authorities - accumulated a larger number of people than the previous demonstration, despite stormy weather.

Holding banners and chanting the slogan "England is war", protesters threw dog leashes and muzzles at the doors of the diplomatic mission. With US flags taped to the props, the protesters said they wanted to send the message to London to stop following the lead of Washington regarding the situation in the Middle East.

UK riot police storm Bedford prison after rioting 'takes over two wings'

Riot police were deployed to a prison in Bedford to deal with major unrest, as prison guards reportedly had to seek shelter.

The riot has been "successfully resolved," following police intervention, a spokesman for the local Prison Service said. Up to 200 inmates were reportedly involved in the unrest at Her Majesty's Prison (HMP) Bedford, which started at around 5 p.m. local time.

The rioting inmates reportedly managed to occupy two prison wings by the time police intervened. "There's been a serious incident which has resulted in two wings being taken over by prisoners," a spokesman for the Prison Officers Association (POA) told Reuters, adding that "prison officers from all over the country" were being dispatched to tackle the crisis.

"We are clear that prisoners who behave in this way will be punished and could spend significantly longer behind bars," the BBC reported citing Prison Service spokesman.

Question

Is the engineered chaos of the 2016 election a good thing?

2016 election
It's always important to keep a strong perspective on reality and the objective truth about what is happening even though we ourselves (readers, truth seekers) are humans with principles, passion, interests, needs and emotions. These are factors which sometimes can make objectivity difficult to see. Yes, we all have human attributes meant for our own good and for survival which, if not carefully handled, can make us vulnerable to deep state propaganda, political strategies, psychological operations and political agendas. This is saying a lot so let's break this down and see if we can apply some principles that make this reality easier to understand.

Engineered chaos

The first point I want to emphasize as I did in several articles of the past month or so is that no one should be mistaken, in America we are smack in the middle of an engineered chaos. That's right. Political chaos that was planned and desired by the ruling elite. Nothing going on now is by coincidence. If anyone thinks the revelations, leaks, surprises, shocking news, infighting, controversies, division, accusations and political clashes of the past months is spontaneous and coincidental then you are far too naive to comprehend what we are about to discuss. Please try to see how politics in the year 2016 with all the technology available, the global agendas of the elite, the opportunity to control resources and the trillions of dollars at stake is indeed all by design. The ruling elite can and thus WILL always try to steer humanity in the direction of their liking. This basic reality of the ruling elite pulling the strings at the highest level is the fundamental basis to understanding how the world works today. For everyone else who understands this, let's move on.

Engineered chaos and the orchestration of division, strife and clashes of ideology leading to civil unrest and ultimately the fracturing of nation-states is the standard mechanism by which the US empire has exerted its domination over nation-states, especially since the creation of the CIA in 1947. This is how the US overthrows governments.

'Absolute madness': Munich suburb to separate child refugees, residents with barrier taller than Berlin Wall

A town in Germany is erecting an enormous wall to separate its residents from refugees housed at a local migrant camp. The controversial 4-meter (13.1ft) barrier will stand higher than the Berlin Wall.

Located in the Munich suburb of Neuperlach Sud, the stone wall is aimed at dividing the town's families from around 160 unaccompanied child refugees who are set to move into a nearby shelter currently under construction.

The wall's construction is being seen as a compromise between angry residents and the local government after seven locals previously filed a complaint against the shelter, Welt reported.

Those against the shelter have argued that the site will cause the value of their homes to plummet, and have raised fears about noise coming from the site. The nearest houses to the shelter are located 25 meters (82ft) away, and are separated from the construction by trees and a road, according to Ruptly.

In an interview a Sputnik Turkiye correspondent, women who escaped from Mosul during an operation by the Iraqi Army and Kurdish forces spoke about what they went through in the Daesh-controlled city.

Now, these women have joined many other refugees at a camp in Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan. The operation to liberate Mosul, which involves the Iraqi military and Kurdish forces and is backed by aircraft from the US-led coalition, started on October 17. Earlier, the Iraqi Army announced they had cleared more than two thousand Daesh militants in Mosul since the beginning of the operation.

liyye Bozan asked not to have pictures taken of her and her children.
"Our relatives are still in Mosul and we don't want to endanger them. We're still afraid of Daesh because it's impossible to forget what we've lived through in Mosul. They [Daesh] killed civilians and jihadists guilty of misconduct by stoning," she told Sputnik Turkiye.

Nanny State hysteria: Single mom arrested, facing jail time for participating in Facebook food group

Mariza Ruelas

Mariza Ruelas told a local TV station she simply sold some food occasionally through a community Facebook group out of Stockton, Calif., called "209 Food Spot."
A single mother of six is now facing down the possibility of being kidnapped by the state and thrown in a cage, away from her children, for a year — for participating in a voluntary Facebook food group.

For years, Mariza Reulas and others enjoyed the fine recipes and food trading in the social media group called 209 Food Spot on Facebook. According to Reulas, this group was a place where people could share recipes, organize potlucks, and, on occasion, sell some of their food to willing neighbors.

"Somebody would be like, 'Oh I don't have anything to trade you but I would love to buy a plate,' like they'd be off of work," Reulas explained to FOX 40.

However, in the ostensible land of the free, selling a food dish to a willing buyer is akin to rape — or, considering the 3-month sentence of convicted rapist Brock Turner — selling food is far worse than rape, according to the state.

The incident began last December when someone contacted Reulas to purchase a dish of her highly desired homemade ceviche. So, like she always did, Reulas made her signature dish and prepped it for who she thought was a willing customer. However, this was no customer — it was an undercover agent from San Joaquin County.
