"The offensive attitudes and statements discovered on James' Twitter feed are indefensible and inconsistent with our studio's values, and we have severed our business relationship with him," Walt Disney Studios chairman Alan Horn said in a statement.
Disney owns Marvel, which means Gunn will not only not be writing or directing Guardians of the Galaxy 3, he is out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe period.
According the Hollywood Reporter, a far-left entertainment site, the now-disgraced Gunn had already begun writing the Guardians 3 script. Shooting was scheduled to begin this fall in Atlanta.
In CNN World, criticizing mainstream media apparently equals betraying the very principles the nation stands on. At least, that was the message delivered by CNN's 'Cuomo Prime Time' host Chris Cuomo when he attacked Trump for his fresh Twitter rant against "fake news" in the wake of the Helsinki summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The post-meeting press conference of the two leaders saw mainstream media explode with condemnation and allegations of treason against Trump after he appeared to cast doubt on Russia's meddling in the US elections.
Trump's shaky attempts at appeasing the home crowd, like clarifying that he meant to say he did not see "any reason why it wouldn't (instead of would) be Russia," made it worse, if anything: scathing cover stories continued to portray Trump as Putin's minion with Time magazine even morphing them in one person.
Making a new move in his bitter war with "fake news" and "failing" publications after facing the media backlash, Trump on Thursday declared the Helsinki summit a "great success" and those who fail to acknowledge this, "the Fake News Media," the "enemy of the people."
Comment: More garbage from CNN. It's no secret Fake News media is in bed with the 'Deep State', who is no friend to the public at large. Why wouldn't someone consider them an enemy if all they did was constantly lie and twist the facts to suit their agenda?
Bolivia's Evo Morales with Rafael Correa: 'US presidents talk peace, but never about social justice'
"Some presidents of the United States talk about peace, but they never speak about social justice. Peace without social justice is not peace," Morales, Bolivia's first president to come from the indigenous population, told Rafael Correa on the RT Spanish show "Conversations with Correa."
"Besides that, the US meddles into other countries' domestic politics, conducts military interventions, and this leads to waves of refugees and migrants."
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said the problem is caused by the Cyclospora parasite that is transmitted in foods contaminated with fecal matter.
Last week, the number of cases was 61 people in seven states - 29 in Illinois, 16 in Iowa, seven in Missouri, three in Minnesota and two each in Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
An updated state-by-state breakdown wasn't immediately available.
McDonald's voluntarily stopped selling salads last week at about 3,000 restaurants in 14 states -- Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota, Montana, North Dakota, Kentucky, West Virginia and Missouri -- until they were able to switch to another lettuce-mix supplier.
Comment: Just last year branches of McDonalds, KFC and Burger King in the UK were all exposed as having fecal bacteria in their ice. More recently a major UK frozen vegetable supplier had to recall their products due to a listeria outbreak. While it's been known for a long time that the major fast food outlets produce food that is nutritionally empty and even dangerous, it seems these outbreaks are on the rise in all areas of mass food production:
- Death toll from listeria outbreak in South Africa reaches 172, more than doubling previous numbers
- Mysterious Bacterial Outbreak in Europe
- Hundreds of frozen food products recalled after listeria outbreak kills two

Browder made his bold statement about Rohrabacher, who is the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Europe, Eurasia and Emerging Threats in the US Congress, as he was speaking at a panel at the Aspen Security Forum on Friday.
The self-styled "largest Putin's critic" was accusing Moscow of bribing foreign officials to promote its interests abroad, when he went on a personal offensive against Rohrabacher.
"There is one member of the US Congress, who, I believe, is on the payroll of Russia. He is a Republican congressman from Orange County, Dana Rohrabacher, who is running around trying to overturn the Magnitsky Act on behalf of [Russian lawyer] Natalia Veselnitskaya, who is the person who went to Trump Tower," Browder said.
Pressed by a bewildered moderator to back up his claims that Rohrabacher is effectively an agent of the Kremlin with some facts, he toned down his initial remark.
"I did not say he's an agent of the Russian government, I believe he is under some type of the influence by the Russian government," Browder said.
Comment: You can't really trust anything that comes out of Browder's mouth regarding Russia. He's got an axe to grind and he knows he'll be in prison for his crimes should those 'pesky Ruskies' get their hands on him. See also:

The stunning figure provided by research firm eMarketer is tempered by the fact that Amazon's near-majority share of online sales accounts for just 5% of all retail sales. Amazon is set to rake in $258.22 billion in US retail sales in 2018, while annual growth has jumped 29.2% year-over-year, reports Tech Crunch.
Fueling Amazon's rise is a robust network of third-party sellers and a rapidly expanding range of goods from groceries to fashion - made all the more attractive for subscribers of their Prime services.
Now, it is fast approaching a tipping point where more people will be spending money online with Amazon, than with all other retailers - combined. Amazon's next-closest competitor, eBay, a very, very distant second at 6.6 percent, and Apple in third at 3.9 percent. Walmart, the world's biggest retailer when counting physical stores, has yet to really hit the right note in e-commerce and comes in behind Apple with 3.7 percent of online sales in the US. -TC
The Pembrokeshire Vegan Organic group said in a Facebook post, which has since been deleted, that there is "nothing natural or healthy about wanting to be the opposite from what we were born."
"The promotion of gay and trans is the promotion of sexual development disorders, caused by environmental pollutants and media and educational manipulation," the post, originally seen by the Independent, read.
An estimated 500 refugees, mostly from Sudan and Eritrea, have settled in numerous tents in the heart of Nantes, western France, after authorities forced them to leave an abandoned building nearby. RT's Charlotte Dubenskij came to the spot and talked to one of the refugees. "We're lost, hopeless. There's a problem with finding somewhere to live, and food. We don't sleep well, it's tiresome," said a man identified as Mohammed.
Sanitation became a big issue in the makeshift camp as there is only one toilet and just a single water tank to service 500 people. Meanwhile, locals say they are concerned over the refugees' presence in the area. "It's very negative for Nantes, just like for every city where they settled," a local woman told RT. "It's a very bad sign for locals and tourists."
Comment: It's the policies of the Western governments that has led to situations like this. If Western imperial behaior force people to leave their country then they wouldn't be immigrating en masse to Europe. If the locals of Nantes want to blame someone, they blame their European leaders for allowing this to happen.
Students, who claimed the poem went against what their union stood for, replaced Kipling's 'If' with US civil rights activist Maya Angelou's 'Still I Rise' at Manchester University's student union.
Kipling's poem was put up as part of the union's refurbishment, but Sara Khan, the liberation and access officer, said students should have been consulted beforehand.
"We, as an exec team, believe that Kipling stands for the opposite of liberation, empowerment, and human rights - the things that we, as an SU [student union], stand for," Khan wrote in a Facebook post.
The Kazakh skater, 25, who won Olympic bronze in 2014, lost three liters of blood in the attack and died in hospital on Thursday, despite resuscitation procedures by doctors, TASS reports.
The tragic incident took place in the city of Almaty, when the skater became involved in an argument with two unknown men who had attempted to steal mirrors from his car.
Comment: Many of Ten's fellow skaters have posted their emotional reaction to hearing of his tragic death. Russian Olympic silver medalist Evgenia Medvedeva was understandably shocked:
"This was only two years ago. Denis seemed to be the most cheerful, unusual and one of the most creative people in figure skating," Medvedeva wrote on Instagram, posting a picture of herself and Ten. "I can't believe it. I don't want to and I can't believe it. My condolences to Denis' family. I will never forget his laughter."US skater Ashley Wagner wrote:
"Sweet, sweet Denis. You were such a light in this world. Talented beyond description and an incredible joy to have ever known. Your passion for this sport and the creativity that you brought into your every day life will be so overwhelmingly missed. Rest in peace my friend"US skater Adam Rippon who competed together with Ten at the 2018 Olympics in South Korea wrote:
"My skating friend, @tenis_den, passed away today. He was so kind to everyone and a huge inspiration to me and so many other people. Murdered in the streets of Kazakhstan. Denis, thank you for showing us how to be a champion. Your time with us was way too short. Love you forever"Russian figure skater Alexei Yagudin couldn't hold back the tears as he addressed the death of his former colleague
"Unfortunately, today a tragedy occurred, which should never have happened," said Yagudin, as tears flowed down his cheeks. "It is something that we never expected to happen. This is my video address to all the mass media, because I can't answer the phone calls [to comment on Ten's death] any more. I also want to address f***g idiots who are writing bul***t about Ten on social media.
"We have been crying the whole day because today not just a great figure skater, but a great person passed away. Yury and Oksana [Denis Ten's parents] we can't even imagine what you are feeling right now.
