The issue was first discovered by user Ali Alexander, who tweeted screenshots of his attempts to search for the Republican lawmaker via the Twitter mobile application.
According to reports, the police were there responding to protesters. A handful of farmer protesters sat in the road to garner attention for their cause. Apparently they are upset that the European Union has reduced their funding.
The group of protesters, according to French media, are from the local Ariege department and took to the road Tuesday to get their voices heard. Their image will likely be marred now, however, as multiple cyclists from various countries were tear gassed as a result of their actions.
Apparently the officers ignored the direction and the strength of the wind which resulted in clouds of the gas floating into the riders.
Although the riders were accidentally hit with the gas, the images below show that the protesters were indeed the targets of police. The disturbing images show police hitting the protesters in the faces at near-point blank range as they sit there peacefully.
People crossing the border between Vermont and Quebec have paid smugglers up to $4,000, usually payable when the immigrants reach their U.S. destination, according to officials and court documents.
While the number of arrests is tiny compared with the southern border, the human smuggling is just as sophisticated.
"They are very well organized. They have scouted the area. They have scouted us," said U.S. Border Patrol Agent Richard Ross. "Basically, we are not dealing with the JV team; this is the varsity."

Several beauty brands have now cut ties with with the Instagram ‘influencer’ with Max Factor Arabia announcing that it would suspend all future work with the make-up artist.

Its website includes a flow-chart that describes how the company has contributed to elections in the U.S. from 2006-2015 with "57,000 voting and counting machines deployed" and "35 million voters assisted."
After this report's publication, Smartmatic updated its website to remove the flow chart and declare that "Smartmatic will not be deploying its technology in any U.S. county for the upcoming 2016 U.S. Presidential elections."
In 2005, Smartmatic bought-out California-based Sequoia Voting Systems and entered the world of U.S. elections.
Sarri took over at Stamford Bridge earlier in July, but his habit has caused something of a headache for the London club as smoking is banned in all workplaces and enclosed public spaces in the UK.
He was frequently seen puffing away on the sidelines in his old job with Napoli in Italy's Serie A, but that is not an option at Chelsea.
Comment: Sounds like Sarri made this a sticking point for his continued employment. Fans (and others) should demand the same. If accommodations can be made for him, they can be made for others as well.
But that isn't accurate at all. Sessions heard the chant, looked a bit confused, then bemused, and, finally, amusedly echoed-literally one time-the chant before continuing with his prepared remarks.
From the way the story was reported, however, one could be forgiven for thinking he had organized the speech purposefully so he could taunt a political rival and whip the crowd up into a frenzy to call for her arrest, all the while he's leading it-evilly.
That just isn't what happened. Seriously, they have to know this reporting (and other examples like it) is, at best, deliberately misleading and, at worst, unadulterated lying. What seems more and more evident with each passing day to more and more Americans is that they do know they are being dishonest, but they just don't care.
The reason for the media uproar in the wake of the Helsinki summit was Trump's response to a reporter, in which he stated (or misstated, depending who you listen to) that he believed Putin when the Russian leader said there was no interference in the US presidential election of 2016.
On CNN, that silver-spooned, silver-haired Silver Surfer clone, Anderson Cooper immediately responded to Trump's performance by shrieking:
"You have been watching perhaps one of the most disgraceful performances by an American president at a summit in front of a Russian leader certainly that I've ever seen."
According to the Al-Mayadeen report, the 850+ refugees will leave Lebanon through the 'Arsal District and travel to Syria's Qalamoun region in western Damascus. See video here.

The proposal also comes as the migrant crisis has hit a peak for Europe's Mediterranean nations, and has become politically disastrous for others like Germany, causing Italy's new government to make the dire move in June of closing the country's ports to rescue vessels.

Comment: RT has confirmed that despite Twitter's denial of shadow banning, several prominent Republican lawmakers who are outspoken Trump supporters aren't showing up in searches while the president's critics, such as Rep. Maxine Waters (D-California) and DNC chairman Tom Perez, or any of the 78 members of the Progressive Caucus, continued to appear.
Trump has blasted Twitter over the bans and has promised to investigate:
Even members of the mainstream press are taking notice, and the uproar has forced Twitter to fix the 'search problems':
