Kassidi Kurill, 39, was healthy and happy and "had more energy" than others, according to a KUTV report. Then, four days after she received her second dose of the coronavirus vaccine, she suddenly died.
"She came in early and said her heart was racing and she felt like she [needed] to get to the emergency room," her family said. Her father, Alfred Hawley, said he woke up to her asking for help.
Hawley said that after she received her second shot on Feb. 1, Kurill "got sick right away, soreness at the shot location, then started getting sick, then started complaining that she was drinking lots of fluids but couldn't pee and then felt a little better the next day."
Kurill worked as a surgical tech, had no known medical conditions, and had advocated for her family to get the vaccine.
Macomb County Prosecutor Peter Lucido, who is also a former Republican state senator, said Whitmer could be charged with two state misdemeanors, one count each of willful neglect of office and reckless endangerment of a person's life.
"I've heard from a lot of people in Macomb County. That's what prompted this. I was a legislator first and they were asking me how is it possible I can let my mother or father die in isolation," Lucido said.
The potential charges would be related to the governor's COVID-19 nursing home policy, which included using regional hubs for COVID-positive nursing home patients. Lucido said the policies cause unnecessary deaths early on in the pandemic.
"Somebody has to be responsible for what has happened here," Lucido said.
Whitmer signed an executive order on April 15 demanding long-term care facilities "must not prohibit admission or readmission of a resident based on COVID-19 testing requirements or results," and renewed the policy several times until it was rescinded in September. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo passed similar orders last year and engaged in a cover-up which has left the governor in the fight for his political life against calls for impeachment.
Whitmer, who now faces potential criminal charges of her own, appears to be engaging in a cover-up as her administration heads to court to keep state death data on nursing homes hidden from public view.
On Tuesday, the Mackinac Center Legal Foundation filed a lawsuit on behalf of Michigan Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist Charlie LeDuff to force the MDHHS to comply with a Freedom of Information Act request to release data on nursing homes.
"Given the recent nursing home policy failures in other states, the need for transparency has become even more critical," Holly Wetzel, a spokeswoman for the Mackinac Center told The Federalist. "We are disappointed in the consistent lack of transparency demonstrated by the governor's administration and hope that both MDHHS and Gov. Whitmer bring clarity by voluntarily providing the information we are seeking."
Michelle Cottle, who is a member of the New York Times editorial board, recently highlighted an example of the favourite conspiracy theory peddled by the mainstream US media. Her opinion piece, 'Don't Let QAnon Bully Congress', comes with the warning that "steps must be taken to safeguard the seat of government."
Cottle, like many of her colleagues, is devoted to a conspiracy theory that evokes an over-the-top drama about a supposedly insurrectionary threat posed by members of QAnon. Citing the acting chief of the Capitol Police, who has warned that extremists are talking about blowing up the Capitol during President Biden's first address to a joint meeting of Congress, she pleads for more security.
The DEA's 2020 National Drug Threat Assessment, which was published Tuesday, shows how each of the key players exert their influence over different parts of the US.
A map shows how El Chapo's Sinaloa Cartel and their rivals the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) were the dominant forces in funneling drugs over the Mexico-United States border in 2020.
Comment: History demonstrates that it is not only the Mexican cartels who are responsible for flooding the USA with drugs. From the 2014 New American article U.S. government and top Mexican drug cartel exposed as partners:
For over a decade, under multiple administrations, the U.S. government had a secret agreement with the ruthless Mexican Sinaloa drug cartel that allowed it to operate with impunity, an in-depth investigation by a leading Mexican newspaper confirmed this week. In exchange for information and assistance in quashing competing criminal syndicates, the Bush and Obama administrations let the Sinaloa cartel import tons of drugs into the United States while wiping out Sinaloa competitors and ensuring that its leaders would not be prosecuted for their long list of major crimes. Other revelations also point strongly to massive but clandestine U.S. government involvement in drug trafficking.
Relying on over 100 interviews with current and former government functionaries on both sides of the border, as well as official documents from the U.S. and Mexican governments, Mexico's El Universal concluded that the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the U.S. Justice Department had secretly worked with Mexican drug lords.
[...]
The newspaper's investigation also confirmed long-held suspicions that U.S. authorities were signing secret agreements with Mexican drug cartels - especially Sinaloa, which CIA operatives have said was a favorite for use in achieving geo-political objectives. Supposedly without the knowledge or approval of officials in Mexico, ICE and DEA, with a green light from Washington, D.C., made deals with criminal bosses allowing them to avoid prosecution for a vast crime spree that has included mass murder, corruption, bribery, drug trafficking, extortion, and more. In exchange, cartel leaders simply had to help U.S. officials eliminate their competitors - certainly a win-win scenario for crime bosses who prefer to operate without competition or fear of prosecution.

In a recent appearance on The Balanced Voice podcast, host Rania Mankarious said Texans would be "very happy" to have McConaughey as governor of the Lone Star State.
The 51-year-old actor then briefly replied, "It's a true consideration."
In November, McConaughey also discussed running for office in his home state of Texas and hinted at a future run in politics if the demand was there.

A U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer speaks with immigrants at the U.S.-Mexico border.
Many of those trying to cross the border had been told by Mexican officials that they would be able to enter the US. In one camp on the Mexican side of the border, which had been set up two years ago, some asylum seekers were told that may reopen their cases and they would eventually be able to enter the US to wait out the asylum process, according to a CBS report.
Mexican authorities have long tried to close the improvised camps that have been set up by migrants attempting to cross into the US.
Comment: The 'Biden administration' continues to minimize the scope of the crisis it set in motion:
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on Tuesday refused to characterize the spiraling situation at the US-Mexico border as a "crisis," even as the number of detained children has surged and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has resorted to asking for volunteers to help hold the line.
The number of children detained in cramped federal facilities along the border has more than tripled in the past two weeks to more than 3,250, the New York Times reported Tuesday, with more than a third of those kids held past the 72 hours they're legally allowed to be kept before being transferred to shelters.
Psaki refused to confirm those figures — which the Times obtained from government documents — and directed reporters to DHS, even after being told that the federal agency had declined comment.

Communications regulator Roskomnadzor issued a statement on Wednesday morning announcing the decision, which it says is because Twitter "does not remove content that incites minors to commit suicide, contains child pornography or information about the use of drugs."
The watchdog claims it has sent more than 28,000 requests for posts, links and publications to be deleted or blocked on the platform. However, at present, "3,168 pieces of content containing prohibited information... remain not deleted." These reportedly include more than 2,500 calls for children to kill themselves and 450 involving child pornography.
Comment: Twitter blocks and censors pretty much everything and everybody that doesn't go with the official lies and half-truths of the PTB, while at the same time enabling content that incites children to commit suicide, contains child pornography, or information about the use of drugs. It is just an extended hand of the PTB in their aggressive imposition of the "new normal" over humanity.

Myanmar riot police crossing blockage during a protest against the military coup in Mandalay, Myanmar.
"The next day, an officer called to ask me if I will shoot," he said. The 27-year-old refused again, and then resigned from the force.
On March 1, he said he left his home and family behind in Khampat and travelled for three days, mostly at night to avoid detection, before crossing into India's northeastern Mizoram state.
"I had no choice," Tha Peng told Reuters in an interview on Tuesday, speaking via a translator. He gave only part of his name to protect his identity. Reuters saw his police and national ID cards which confirmed the name.

"I promise the people of Iran that there will be no concern about access to coronavirus vaccine in the country in the next 2 months," said Mohammad Mokhber, the head of Iran's Headquarters for Executing the Order of Imam (EIKO), on Tuesday.
"The good news about the COV-Iran Barekat vaccine is that in phase one of the clinical trial, the results were unexpectedly good and the human test was 100 percent successful at this stage," Mokhber added.
The official said that mass production of the jab will begin in late spring, echoing previous comments from the Iranian government on the issue. Clinical data has yet to be published from the COV-Iran Barekat human trial.
