UKIP politician Peter Whittle reports hate crime over SJW's 'No country for old white men' placard

A placard targeting "old white men" which was held up by a woman at a march in London has been reported as a hate crime by a member of UKIP.

Angered UKIP Assembly group leader Peter Whittle shared the image on Twitter. The picture shows a woman with pink hair sitting on a man's shoulders at a protest march in the British capital, holding up a sign which reads: "No country for old white men."

Whittle said on Twitter:
"I wish to report this placard, photographed at the Women's March in Whitehall London on January 21st, as a possible hate crime @MetCC."

Comment: Goose, gander. Why shouldn't Whittle report the tweet? He is only turning the SJW tactics against them. But by their rules, as a member of the 'patriarchy', he has no legitimate defense.

Bloody favoritism! Oxford University gives extra time to complete exams in order to boost female students' scores

woman taking exam
Students taking maths and computer science examinations in the summer of 2017 were given an extra 15 minutes to complete their papers.
Oxford University exam times were increased in a bid to improve the low scores of women, it has emerged.

Students taking maths and computer science examinations in the summer of 2017 were given an extra 15 minutes to complete their papers, after dons ruled that "female candidates might be more likely to be adversely affected by time pressure". There was no change to the length or difficulty of the questions.

It was the first time such steps had been taken. In previous years, the percentage of male students awarded first class degrees was double that of women and in 2016 the board of examiners suggested that the department make changes to improve women's grades.

However, despite the intention being to lessen gender discrepancies, the main effect of the time increase appears to have been an increase in the number of 2:1s overall, with 2:2 figures falling. Men continued to be awarded more first class degrees than women in the two subjects.

Comment: It's usually considered sexist to suggest that women require special treatment in academia but in the social justice world nobody really wants equal treatment, they just want favoritism.

A student who was seeking love on dating app Tinder was stabbed to death in her car, shortly after sending texts saying she was "looking over her shoulder" and reporting her fears to the police.

Molly McLaren, 23, sent a WhatsApp message to friends expressing fears for her safety after she broke up with Joshua Stimpson, 26, who she had met through the Tinder app.

The blood-soaked man was arrested in the parking lot at the Dockside retail outlet in Chatham, Kent, on June 29, 2017, jurors were told. McLaren was found dead in her nearby car, shortly after she sent a text to her friends which read: "[I] feel like I'm f****** looking over my shoulder all the time."

Stimpson, who dated McLaren for seven months, admits manslaughter but denies murder, arguing diminished responsibility. The pair had broken up two weeks before McLaren was killed in a stabbing frenzy with a kitchen knife.

At least 33 people have been killed and scores more wounded in a double car bomb attack in Benghazi, Libya. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the atrocities.

A vehicle packed with explosives detonated next to Al-Radwan mosque and the headquarters of the Passport Authority in Al-Sleimani neighborhood of the Libyan capital on Tuesday afternoon just as people were leaving prayers. Minutes later a second car parked on the opposite side of the street blew up, causing more casualties among security services who had rushed to the scene and civilians who gathered at the spot of the initial explosion.

The casualty tally has not yet been officially confirmed. At least 33 people died in the dual attack, while at least 50 others were injured, officials told Reuters. Local news outlets report the death toll now stands at 41 dead and 80 wounded.

Rampant sexual harassment and lewd behavior has been exposed at a male-only, black-tie charity dinner at the Dorchester Hotel. 130 hostesses were told to wear matching underwear and prepare themselves for "annoying" men.

Handpicked for their beauty and height, the women were told to wear skimpy black dresses with corset-like belts and "sexy" high heels to one of the most exclusive charity events on London's social calendar: the Presidents Club Charity Dinner.

At 10pm on Thursday, festivities kicked off at the Dorchester Hotel with sports broadcaster Jonny Gould roaring "Welcome to the most un-PC event of the year," to the 360-person crowd.

During the six-hour dinner, an undercover journalist reported that hostesses were groped, subjected to lewd comments, sexual propositions, and hands up skirts; while one attendee reportedly exposed his penis to a hostess during the evening.

Thursday's charity event, which raised more than £2 million ($2.8 million) for charitable causes like the Great Ormond Street Hospital, offered up auction prizes such as lunch with British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson, afternoon tea with Bank of England Governor Mark Carney, and the chance to "add spice to your wife"... with a course of plastic surgery.

As support continues for the Perris children of one of the country's worst child abuse cases ever, reports of the parents' interest in reality TV show has surfaced.

A sign taped to the front door, apparently illustrated by neighborhood kids reads: We stand united with the Turpin children.

A source close to the investigation tells CBS News all 13 sons and daughters of David and Louise Turpin were astounded that people wanted to help them, after they received clothes and shoes. The children asked to stay together and the source said they did not ask about their parents.

Marc Benoiff: Regulators must 'wake up to threat from tech giants'

Mr Benioff
Mr Benioff, founder and boss of cloud computing firm Salesforce, believes the tech giants need more regulation
Silicon Valley billionaire Marc Benioff has compared the current crisis of trust facing the tech giants to the financial crisis of a decade ago, urging regulators to wake up to the threat from Google, Facebook, and the other dominant firms.

The outspoken entrepreneur accused some of the industry's most influential bosses of "abdicating responsibility" and being ignorant to how powerful and sophisticated they had become. Regulators now had "have no choice" but to intervene, he said.

"We are in a new world. A decade ago, you had the banks talking about collaterised debt obligations and credit default swaps, saying they were great for the economy but regulators weren't paying attention. The government needs to come in and point 'True North'," Mr Benioff said at a panel session at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

The cohabitation ended with her fosterling sexually attacking her 12-year-old daughter. However, the woman refused to report the assault and allowed the culprit to stay, the news outlet Fria Tider reported.

Doomsday panic in Hawaii: Threat of nuclear holocaust more looming than believed

Hawaii
© LASZLO ILYES | CC BY 2.0
When Daniel Ellsberg visited Los Angeles in mid-December, promoting his important new book The Doomsday Machine, his central message was that the threat of nuclear holocaust was more looming than generally believed. The American people have been lulled to sleep, distracted by endless media and political spectacles, while busy warmakers keep refining their insane nuclear blueprints that, once actualized, could incinerate several hundred million people in a matter of hours, if not minutes. More than 70 years after Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Pentagon elites still theorize and fantasize about the unthinkable, their demented plans far removed from the realm of political debate or even public awareness.

Could it be that President Trump's nuclear brinkmanship over North Korea - his bellicose promise to annihilate an entire country - not to mention his escalating threats against Iran, has pushed the U.S. (and the world) closer to something like a Doomsday moment? Have we reached the point where living on the edge of nuclear catastrophe has become thoroughly normalized? Could Ellsberg's warnings be more prescient than even he might be prepared to believe?

Exactly one month after Ellsberg's talk, on a quiet Saturday morning, the state of Hawaii awoke to the most startling text message: "Ballistic Missile Threat Inbound to Hawaii. Seek Immediate Shelter. This is Not a Drill." At that moment, I happened to be in Honolulu for a film conference with my girlfriend, when tranquil life on the islands instantly turned chaotic. People scattered frenetically, mostly without logic or purpose or hope. Where to go? If this turned out to be one of Kim Jong Un's powerful ICBMs, it could be over in 20 minutes. Repair to a shelter? None exist. Go to the basement? Sure suicide. Find a car or taxi and head for the hills? No time.

Scientists go ape after Indian minister dubs Darwin theory 'wrong'

Three Indian science academies have rebuked the country's human resource development minister after he questioned Darwin theory, saying that no one ever saw "a man turning into an ape."

Satyapal Singh caused quite a stir last week after challenging Charles Darwin's evolution theory as "scientifically wrong."

"Since man is seen on Earth, he has always been a man," claimed the minister, who has a PhD in chemistry. Given that "nobody saw a man turning into an ape," Singh suggested a change in the curriculum.
