Video emerges of Saudi authorities raiding Halloween bash in Riyadh, 19 Filipino women arrested

The Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs verified reports that 19 Filipino women were arrested on Saturday for participating in a Halloween party held at a private resort in Saudi Arabia.

Comment: It's unlikely these Filipino women could organize this party without the consent of the Saudi owners.

The women, along with five Middle Eastern men, were arrested in the Saudi capital after Saudi intelligence officers raided the complex following complaints from neighbors over the noise coming from the party.

Saudi Arabia's legal system is based on Sharia, Islamic law procured from the Qur'an and the Sunnah (the traditions) of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. Under Sharia, women are required to minimize the time spent with men they are not related to. Unlawful mixing with men can result in criminal charges in the country.

An article published Monday by the Philippine Star references a Facebook post published on October 28 by Humoud Al Fajrawi, who has more than 100,000 followers on the social network. In his post, Fajrawi shared videos that appear to have been taken at the Halloween party, showing people dressed up in costumes in a crowded gathering. Later that day, Fajrawi shared a photo of a government document issued by the Embassy of the Philippines in Riyadh titled, "Advisory on Organizing and Attending Events that are Not Sanctioned by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia." According to Asia News, the advisory statement was issued by the Adnan Alonto, the Philippine ambassador in Riyadh.

Comment: Justice in Saudi Arabia is raiding a Halloween party organized by some women from the Philippines, whereas the debauchery carried on by the Saudi Royals rarely faces such treatment and abuse of Filipino maids is rife with few, if any, of their Saudi employers ever facing trial: Also check out SOTT radio's: NewsReal: West Discovers Saudi Arabia Has Human Rights Issues & The Real Reason People Hate Trump

Protests erupt in India with unveiling of world's biggest statue

world's biggest statue in india
Local groups complain about cost of 182-metre-high tribute to nationalist hero

India has unveiled the world's tallest statue, depicting one of the country's independence leaders, in a lavish ceremony featuring fireworks, fighter jets and rose petals showered by helicopters.

The 182-metre sculpture of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, known as the Statue of Unity to commemorate his efforts to corral hundreds of princely states into the Indian union after independence, was revealed on Wednesday by the prime minister, Narendra Modi.

Huge crowds and more than 5,000 police officers gathered in a remote corner of Gujarat state for the ceremony, which has also sparked protests from local communities who say they were not compensated for the land used to erect the statue.

Modi said the structure, which is twice the size of New York's Statue of Liberty, was "an answer to all those who question the existence of India".

Pesticides? France launches another probe after more birth defects cases revealed

A nationwide investigation has been launched in France amid growing concern at the increased number of instances of babies being born with birth defects, like missing or malformed arms, sparking a public health scare.

Assuring citizens that nothing "is being hidden from you," head of Public Health France Francois Bourdillon told RTL radio listeners that an investigation was already underway and that results were expected in about three months.

"We will look at all suspect cases," he assured.

The condition, a type of agenesis, is where the upper limbs of a fetus fail to form correctly during pregnancy. Those affected can be born with missing upper limbs, forearms, hands, or fingers.

Comment: With all the toxins we are exposed to these days, there could be a number of possible causes, but it certainly could be related to France's vast agricultural industry which as a matter of practice sprays crops with relentless rounds of pesticides and herbicides which have been proven to cause birth defects.

Austria to follow US and Hungary by withdrawing from UN 'mixed up' migration bill

The Independent Sebastian Kurz and his girlfriend Susanne Thier
The Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration is expected to be approved by all other member states.

Austria is set to follow the United States and Hungary by backing out of a United Nations migration pact.

The right-wing Austrian government, which took office last December, has said it will not sign the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration which looks to make migration safer.

Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz stood on an anti-immigration platform and since taking office in December has implemented a number of policies that include restricting benefits for new immigrants.

"Austria will not join the UN migration pact," Mr Kurz said in a statement.

Comment: It's likely many more countries, particularly those in the EU besieged by migrants, in large part due to wars waged by the Western world, will refuse to sign up to this mandate. There's also the nefarious issue of who is pushing this agenda, and why: Also check out SOTT radio's: The Truth Perspective: Weapons of Mass Migration: Interview with Michael Springmann on Europe's Migrant Crisis

Owners' social credit is deducted for various infractions, such as walking a dog without a leash or tag, and not cleaning up poo
Chinese cities are launching a scoring system for dog owners where anyone found failing to care for their pets could be forced to pay a fine - or even have their dog confiscated.

The credit system is already being enforced in the Chinese city of Jinan, and requires anyone with a dog to register with the police - with only one dog permitted per person.

The licence starts with a dozen points and is embedded as a QR code on a dog's collar.

A brief recent history of leftist political violence in America

leftist violence
On September 9, Rudy Peters, the Republican running for Congress in the 15th District in California, was attacked by a knife-wielding man shouting, "F___ Trump".

The attacker, Farzad Fazeli, an Iranian Clinton supporter, had previously posted, "Don Trump won't clean his own house, so he's too dirty to know right from wrong. Impeach/incarcerate him before more children die. P.S. complacency is worse than being the shooter."

Next month, Shane Mekeland, a Republican running for the Minnesota House of Representatives, suffered a concussion after being punched in the face at a restaurant. "You f____g people don't give a s___ about the middle class," his assailant had shouted at him.

Mekeland is back on the campaign trail, while still recovering from the assault. "The media and the likes of Maxine Waters, Hillary, and Eric Holder as of late is driving this behavior," he warned.

"If you see anybody from that cabinet in a restaurant, at a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them, and you tell them they're not welcome anymore, anywhere," Rep. Maxine Waters had urged an angry leftist mob.

Esther Akutekha, who lives in Brooklyn, New York, has a good job as a public relations specialist that pays more than $50,000 a year.

But because of the $1,440 a month rent on her studio apartment in the Prospect-Lefferts Gardens neighborhood, she never takes vacations, dines out just once a month and scrapes together dinner leftovers for lunch the next day.

"I'm frustrated with the fact that I'm not going to be able to save anything because my rent is so high," says Akutekha, who says she's 30ish. "I don't even know if I can afford" to have children.

Former CIA coder charged with leaked hacking secrets to Wikileaks says he's being tortured in prison

Central Intelligence Agency
A former CIA coder who allegedly gave files about the agency's hacking tools to WikiLeaks claims he is being tortured in a Manhattan prison, where he is currently being held while awaiting trial for espionage.

In a letter to a New York judge, filed on Monday but later mysteriously removed from court records, Joshua Schulte claims he is being subjected to "torture" in Manhattan's Metropolitan Correctional Center.

"Otto Warmbier received better treatment in North Korea that I have received in America," Schulte's letter reads. "Terrorists receive better treatment in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba - I have seen the footage myself," Schulte added.

Question

Would America's leftists suborn an invasion?

migrant caravan honduras mexico border
Suborn: to bribe or induce (someone) unlawfully or secretly to perform some misdeed or to commit a crime.

Sometime in the 1960s, as I recall, a prominent person in the news made the sarcastic statement that if an enemy invasion army were to land on our shores, the ACLU would meet the soldiers on the beaches to protect their rights. The ACLU quickly protested, averring that, patriots all, they would do no such thing. Being a parody writer myself, I once wrote a fictional piece about the Japanese air raid on Pearl Harbor (Dec. 7, 1941) in which an ACLU lawyer sought an injunction against American armed resistance. He stated, "As soon as those Japanese aircraft entered American airspace, their pilots were entitled to the full protections of the United States Constitution, including the presumption of innocence until proven guilty in a court of law."

Today, we are living parody. A massive parade of foreign nationals is marching toward our border, its members openly proclaiming that they intend to illegally enter our country. They have already stormed and breached the southern border of Mexico in a glaring preview of their defiance of law, so they are clearly to be believed.

'Intolerant, censorious crybaby' NYC Mayor de Blasio has Milo Yiannopoulos banned from speaking at NYU

Wading into the murky world of campus politics, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has canceled a talk by conservative provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos at New York University. Yiannopoulos responded by savaging the Democrat mayor.

Yiannopoulos was due to speak to a Liberal Studies class on the intersection of Halloween, culture, and politics, but NYU staff canceled the appearance after a request from the mayor himself, for "public safety reasons."

Earlier on Tuesday, New York City Council members had urged the university to cancel the talk, denouncing the "hate" expressed by Yiannopoulos and the event's proximity to Saturday's shooting dead of 11 worshippers in a synagogue in Pittsburgh. The council also pointed out that nearby Halloween parades would have the city's police force stretched thin.
