Circuit Court Judge James E. Plowman Jr. ordered the Loudoun County School System to reinstate teacher Byron "Tanner" Cross and to lift its ban on his entering any county school building or grounds.
"Educators are just like everybody else - they have ideas and opinions that they should be free to express," Tyson Langhofer, one of Cross' lawyers, said in a written statement celebrating the judge's decision.
Virologist Kristian Andersen, a professor at Scripps Research Institute, has fallen under the microscope after a trove of emails from Fauci, director of the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, were obtained by the media last week through Freedom of Information Act requests.
As TheBlaze previously reported, Andersen wrote Fauci on Jan. 31. 2020, that "The unusual features of the virus make up a really small part of the genome (<0.1%) so one has to look really closely at all the sequences to see that some of the features (potentially) look engineered."

Comment: The incentives keep on pouring in as the fearful public continues to desperately try to get everyone vaccinated, despite the risks, against a minor virus that is of minimal threat to the vast majority of the population.

The deadly attack on Sunday evening, denounced as terrorism by one Muslim group, left four of them dead and a boy with serious injuries, police said.
"Words fail on a day as dark as this but still words matter," Mayor Ed Holder said. "This was an act of mass murder perpetrated against Muslims, against Londoners, and rooted in unspeakable hatred."
As even many casual observers of America's fractious politics are aware, the overwhelming majority of lawmaking at the federal level no longer takes place in Congress as the Constitution's framers intended. Instead, the vast majority of the "rulemaking" governing Americans' day-to-day lives now takes place behind closed doors, deep in the bowels of the administrative state's sprawling bureaucracy. The brainchild of progressive President Woodrow Wilson, arguments on behalf of the modern administrative state are ultimately rooted in, among other factors, a disdain for the messy give-and-take of republican politics and an epistemological preference for rule by enlightened clerisy.
Put more simply, the most straightforward version of the argument offered by partisans of the administrative state amounts to, "Trust the experts." And over the century-plus since Wilson's presidency, the "trust the experts" leitmotif has moved well beyond the realm of prevailing dogma for mandarins in such agencies as the Food and Drug Administration and the Environmental Protection Agency. Rather, for large swaths of the citizenry and the elected official class, "trust the experts" now reigns supreme for everything from the military ("Trust the generals!") to public health ("Trust the epidemiologists!").
And therein lies the rub.
Comment: To sum up:
Learned:
- Many bureaucrats relished enforcing rules that made no sense whatever. Dying aged people couldn't see their young relatives. Bars were open but churches were closed. Some places had curfews; others did not. In some places, schools were closed; in others, they were not.
- The main effect of Big Tech censorship was to make discussing the problems difficult.
- Far more of our fellow citizens than many of us would have thought possible simply accepted the crazy, then cowered, and hid. For no reason other than rank, irrational fear.
- Among more thoughtful people, the term "science" has taken one heck of a beating. When this is all over, we hope it still means something other than "whatever bureaucrats enforce."

On the eve of the 77th anniversary of the D-Day invasion, MSNBC aired an ad from The Lincoln Project that called the soldiers who stormed the beaches of Normandy members of "Antifa" — the left-wing group responsible for mass political violence nationwide.
Brian Williams closed Friday's edition of "The 11th Hour" by showing a portion of the ad, which opens by asking, "Who is Antifa?"
Williams presented the video as a patriotic homage to the Greatest Generation. "Last thing before we go tonight, an important anniversary [is] coming up this weekend," Williams said. "We hope you can take a moment and remember it."
He went on to call Operation Overlord "beyond bold; it was outlandish. Over 150,000 men invad[ed] the French coastline under withering German fire to begin their march across Europe, where they would go on to win World War II 336 days later."
"While others will debate whether or not we could possibly mount such a thing today as broken as we are, there was a time when we saved the world from tyranny and fascism," Williams continued. "If it wasn't our finest hour, it's hard to say what was. And the folks at The Lincoln Project are out with a reminder to all."

Sasha was shot in the head on May 23. The Black Lives Matter activist and mum-of-two was left fighting for her life after being gunned down at a birthday bash in Southwark, south London two weeks ago.
The mum-of-two, 27, was left fighting for her life after being gunned down in Southwark, south London two weeks ago.
She had been at a garden bash attended by around 30 people - but, so far, none of the guests have spoken out as witnesses, it is said.
The Met launched a probe in the immediate aftermath and arrested five males in connection with the incident.
Comment: Does this speak to the milieu of those attending the party, many of whom are likely involved in the same causes as the victim?

After all, Dr. Fauci was the US architect of the lockdowns that smashed all that we believed was true in the good 'ol US of A; namely that we had rights and freedoms and a system of government that protected both. Suddenly we found ourselves housebound by law, prevented from going to concerts, movies, church, or even to the hospital if we didn't have Covid-19 (health care spending fell 6% in 2020).
So, yes, these emails are remarkable. You want to know what this guy was thinking? How and why did he convince President Trump to shut down major parts of the economy? These emails provide hints and clues as to what he was thinking before and after. They are a major key to understanding, and investigators of all sorts will be scouring through them for years.
Whatever you do, however, don't you dare call them a "leak" even though if Fauci had his druthers, they surely would not have been leaked; whoops, I mean released through multiple FOIA requests. The fact checkers are all over that misuse of terms, such that USA Today offers a marmish corrective to anyone who would use that term, while the Washington Post offers a mini-treatise assuring people that they do not say what you think they say.
Say it over and over until it becomes true: there are no smoking guns herein!
Comment: After the public release of Fauci's e-mails, the whole narrative of the PTB about the dangerous virus and the tyrannical inhuman measures that were supposed to protect us is just tumbling down.
The question is, who decided to publish his e-mails, and why are all the manipulations and lies about the false Covid pandemic being exposed now?
An epidemiologist and professor at Stanford University said Dr. Anthony Fauci's credibility is "shot" after his recently released emails showed him flip-flopping on the use of masks."I think his credibility is entirely shot," said Jay Bhattacharya, a professor of medicine, during a segment on The Ingraham Angle. The Stanford professor said people will have a hard time trusting Fauci after his emails, which have recently been made public through Freedom of Information Act requests, show that he did not initially think face masks were effective."I think he's been all over the place on masks," Bhattacharya said. "There are emails you can find in the treasure trove of emails that have been released where he acknowledged that the virus is aerosolized — well, the cloth masks people have been recommending, they're not very particular[ly] effective against aerosolized viruses."Fauci first said masks were not effective, and even privately told one person as much, before reversing his advisement on the matter."Masks are really for infected people to prevent them from spreading the infection to people who are not infected rather than protecting uninfected people from acquiring infection," he said in one of the recently released emails.Bhattacharya said he was not sure what spurred the flip-flop from saying masks were not effective to imploring the country to stay vigilant on mask-wearing.
"The typical mask you buy in the drug store is not really effective in keeping out the virus, which is small enough to pass through the material," he wrote. "It might, however, provide some slight benefit in keep out gross droplets if someone coughs or sneezes on you. I do not recommend that you wear a mask, particularly since you are going to a very low-risk location.""I really don't understand his back-and-forth, and his answer made absolutely no sense," he said.Yeah, you should change your mind when the science changes. But what is that science that changed that convinced him that masks are the most effective way?" the professor asked.
Fauci ultimately agreed that face masks should be universally worn, advice that has been adhered to by most businesses and states across the country.

More than three in four adults (78%) who have thus far refused to get a Covid-19 vaccination say they are unlikely to change their minds in the future, according to a new Gallup poll. Of that group, 51% say they are "highly unlikely" to change their minds.
Approximately 20% of people who are hesitant to receive a vaccine say they are open to changing their stance, with only 2% saying they are "highly likely" to eventually be convinced to get inoculated.
The poll - conducted among over 3,500 adults with a margin of error of 3% - could spell bad news for President Joe Biden's ambitious goal of vaccinating 70% of US adults by July 4. Recent reports have shown that vaccine rates are plummeting in recent weeks, threatening the president's plan.
While approximately 3.4 million shots were being given out a day in mid-April, that number has now fallen to below one million a day, according to a report from the Washington Post.
Palestine's official Wafa news agency, citing a local source, reported on Monday that the illegal settlers, accompanied by Israeli soldiers, bulldozed 400 square meters of land near Ibrahimi Mosque, also called the Cave of the Patriarchs.
Tawfik Jahshan, head of the legal department of the Hebron Reconstruction Committee, said the Old City of al-Khalil is a cultural and natural heritage site of rare and exceptional value, which requires preservation and protection.
He called on the international community and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) member states to assume their responsibilities towards the Israeli regime's ongoing violations against Palestinians, stressing the need to take effective measures and protect the intellectual and cultural heritage of Palestine. He also appealed to the Muslim community to promptly intervene in order "to stop this destruction and this escalation and dangerous practices by the occupation and its settlers aimed at seizing the Palestinian land and altering its history and culture."

Comment: It would be nice if more teachers like Cross would stand up to authoritarian language police. If that were the case we might not be seeing it gain the foothold it is gaining in educational institutions. That being said, it does take a lot of bravery to confront the vocal minority, especially when one's job is on the line.
