A sign is seen on a barrier at an entrance to the so-called “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone” on June 10, 2020 in Seattle, Washington.
Seattle, Washington's Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ) — formed by anarchists, Antifa members, and Black Lives Matter activists — has set up a border wall surrounding its perimeters and is seemingly conducting 'deportations'.

CHAZ, a six-square block autonomous zone, has clear and precise borders made up of mostly vehicle barriers and various forms of fencing.

Photos from CHAZ show the border controls:

Frontline report: 'I've been scared every day': Seattle resident speaks out about life on the border of CHAZ

America's border with CHAZ
A Seattle resident living in Capitol Hill, where activists have taken over a roughly six-block radius and turned it into the "Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone" (CHAZ), spoke with the Daily Caller in an exclusive interview about life on the border of the commune.

The man, who asked to only be referred to as Brandon, said he has been terrified since the protests began. Brandon said protesters are at his gates every night, adding that his "own government" has abandoned the people.

"I'm scared," Brandon said. "I've been scared every day since Sunday, and I haven't gotten a lot of sleep. For the first time in my life in Capitol Hill, I hear gunshots every single night. I've heard people screaming every single night outside. And they're not protest screams ... I've also heard screams of terror out there, and I don't know what's happening out there."

Authorities investigating 2 separate deaths of Black men found hanging in California

Victorville, California
© Jefferson Graham, USA TODAY
After Hesperia, Victorville is the last city tourists will see on the LA2Vegas ride, a collection of big box stores, restaurants and a gateway to old Route 66.
As the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department launched an investigation into the hanging death of a Black man in Palmdale, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department said on Saturday there were no indications of foul play in the hanging death of another Black man in Victorville last month.

Palmdale is about 60 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles. Victorville is about 50 miles east of Palmdale.

San Bernardino Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Jodi Miller said deputies responded around 7 a.m. on May 31 to a report of a man who hanged himself near a homeless encampment in Victorville. He was later identified as 38-year-old Malcolm Harsch.

"A death investigation is being conducted," Miller wrote in an email to The Desert Sun. "There were no indications at the scene that suggested foul play. The cause and manner of death are pending."

Comment: The lack of any signs of struggle in both cases suggest suicide. Without more information it's hard to say whether these men's decisions were driven in any way by already present mental health issues that were exasperated and amplified by the lockdowns, but if the families want justice they're most likely to find it there and not with racists.

Truckers say they won't deliver to cities with defunded police departments

As cities across the country are discussing defunding or disbanding their police departments, truck drivers are voicing concerns of safety. Seventy-seven percent of truck drivers say they will refuse to deliver freight to cities with defunded police departments.

Truck driving is historically ranked as one of the most dangerous jobs in the country. In 2018, U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistic reported truck driving as the most deadly job in the country.

Truck drivers have spent the last year on the front line of a global pandemic and protests. Now many are fearful of what might happen if police departments disband or are defunded.

Coincidence? British PM Churchill vanishes from Google searches as BLM protesters demand removal of statues

google search british prime ministers June 2020

Winston Churchill's picture disappeared from Google's list of British prime ministers for 12 hours today. Google claimed this was due to an 'update'. It coincides with calls from Black Lives Matter protesters for his statue to be removed
Winston Churchill's photo mysteriously disappeared from Google's list of British prime ministers overnight, coinciding with protesters calling for his statue to be torn down.

The wartime leader was the only prime minister to be left without a photo with Clement Attlee, Neville Chamberlain and Stanley Baldwin, who all served before Churchill, still displayed with their images.

The picture's disappearance coincides with an escalating row over whether his memorial in Parliament Square, London, should stay up with Black Lives Matter supporters calling for it to be torn down.

Imarn Ayton, 29, who has given speeches alongside Star Wars actor John Boyega in support of the BLM movement, said yesterday the monument is offensive and should be moved to a museum.

Even his granddaughter Emma Soames, after seeing the statue daubed with 'was a racist', said that if people were 'so infuriated' it may be 'safer' in a museum.

Atlanta police release complete sequence of Rayshard Brooks arrest & shooting from all angles

Atlanta police officer administers inebriation test to Rayshard Brooks in still from body cam footage
The events leading up to the fatal police shooting of Rayshard Brooks in Atlanta were captured on camera from multiple perspectives. RT has compiled a video showing how the deadly incident played out.

In police bodycam footage, Brooks is seen taking a breathalyzer test as he insists that he's only had a few drinks. One of the officers, Garrett Rolfe, determines that Brooks is intoxicated and asks him to put his hands behind his back as he prepares to arrest him. Brooks then tries to tear himself away as the two cops attempt to put cuffs on him. The bodycam footage ends in chaos as the officers wrestle with Brooks on the ground, as one of them shouts, "Stop fighting! You're gonna get tased!"

The altercation was also caught on eyewitness video, which shows the scuffle more clearly than the first-person perspective. Brooks' final moments were recorded by a Wendy's security camera, which shows him being gunned down as he attempts to flee the scene.

Comment: Subsequent events were all too predictable:

The Wendy's where the shooting happened rapidly became the focal point of protest outrage

Apparently holding Wendy's partially responsible for the fatal incident, protesters torched the drive-through, which is located "dangerously close" to a gas station.

A CNN crew was threatened as they tried to report on the shooting and fire
CNN national correspondent Natasha Chen arrived at the scene with four other colleagues to report on the situation, but their presence was not welcome by some. Footage taken by the CNN team shows a group of protesters breaking the restaurant's windows as one member of the mob enters the building. Moments later, the camera's view was blocked and a scuffle ensued.

The ritual firing of the officers involved in the shooting was nearly instantaneous,

Reports that clashes between army, protesters in northern Lebanon injured nearly 80 people

Overnight clashes between protesters and army personnel in the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli have left 76 people injured with 16 requiring hospital visits, state news agency NNA reported Sunday morning.

According to the agency, continuous unrest in Lebanon's second-largest city started when protesters began vandalizing stores and hurling what appeared to be Molotov cocktails at the government building, prompting the army to intervene.

The army had regained full control by Sunday morning but several facilities were destroyed, the agency reported.

Comment: The conventional view is that mismanagement and corruption have been eating away at the Lebanese economy for some time. However, as Israel's neighbor, it's a prime target for destabilization by subtle means. Israel stands to gain in innumerable ways by the disintegration of Lebanon.
Lebanon's Prime Minister Hassan Diab accused the longtime Central Bank governor, Riad Salameh, of orchestrating the local currency's crash, and criticized what he called the governor's "opaque" policies that the premier said covered up major banking sector losses and capital flight.

UK reviewing social-distancing rule ahead of potential easing of lockdown on July 4th

Prime Minister Boris Johnson said Britain's two-metre social distancing rule was under review ahead of a potential further easing of lockdown measures on July 4, adding his room for manoeuvre was increasing as the incidence of COVID-19 falls.

"As we get the numbers down, so it becomes one in 1,000, one in 1,600, maybe even fewer, your chances of being two metres, or one metre, or even a foot away from somebody who has the virus is obviously going down statistically, so you start to build some more margin for manoeuvre," he said on Sunday.

"We'll be looking at that and keeping it under constant review as we go forward to the next step in our plan, which is as you know July 4."

Comment: Just remember, the 'killer' virus is completely innocuous when protesting (not the lockdown mind you, but only BLM protests):

Black Lives Matter protesters who toppled a statue on their own heads have created the perfect culture war metaphor

statue toppled

Protesters in Virginia seriously injured one of their own when they pulled down a stone statue onto his head. This unintended tragedy sums up the irresponsible thoughtlessness of their actions.

In summary, an excited crowd mounted a Confederate monument as part of the current wave of statue-felling and pushed a large stone figure onto a man who was standing underneath it, seriously injuring him and reportedly leaving him in a coma. You can see the video below, and it's worth watching before I get into a lengthy torturing of this metaphor as a warning of where we stand and what might come next.

In the opening few seconds of the video, we see the crowd caught up in the fever of what must seem like a revolution. There's music playing in the background, and somehow there seems to be a plentiful supply of sledgehammers. Seriously, who buys them?
