Yann Duchesne plucked the gold-colored crustacean from one of his pots near Île Saint-Rion in Paimpol Bay on the Côtes-d'Armor last week and quickly ruled out making a meal of his discovery.
"It's out of the question that he ends up on a plate, when you only meet one in your life. Like all that is rare, it must be seen," Duchesne told Ouest France.
According to the Lobster Institute at the University of Maine in the US, there is only one yellow lobster in 30 million. In cases of blue lobsters, the number rises to one in two million. Meanwhile, the rarest type is the albino lobster - the chances of finding one are around one in 100 million.
Caroline Power, who specializes in underwater photography, has dedicated her career to highlighting the damage plastic waste is doing to our oceans.
She said witnessing the plastic blanket of forks, bottles and rubbish between the islands Roatan and Cayos Cochinos, off the coast of Honduras, was "devastating".
"To see something that I care so deeply for being killed, slowly choked to death by human waste was devastating," she told The Telegraph.
"Once the trash is in the ocean, it is incredibly difficult and costly to remove. The key is to stop the trash before it enters the ocean.
"In order for that to happen, we need to improve waste management, environmental education and recycling facilities on a global scale. This is a developed nation (first world) problem as well."
The man in question committed his crimes in the Russian city of Tomsk, Siberia in March. He held the bar wrapped in a plastic bag as if it were a handgun, threatening his victims.
The 26-year-old managed to rob a woman, three flower shops, and a grocery store before his crime spree was stopped by the police, the report said. The man told the court he needed the money to travel from Tomsk to his home 5,000km away and pled guilty to five counts of robbery. He failed to gather the necessary amount, however.
He is said to have been killed on the Clare estate to the north of the city in KwaZulu Natal.
Police said that a man in his 40s was assaulted following allegations of rape and they are investigating both the alleged rape and the murder.
The incident happened in January after officers made contact with Marcus Lavender, a man with an admitted death wish. According to a Youtube video and accompanying description uploaded by Police Activity:
"Brickner told that he and Bays went to Lavender's residence for a well-being check call. After arriving, they were warned by dispatch that Lavender had made threatening remarks about trying to shoot any officers that arrived on scene."They said they noticed someone had been drinking alcohol as they found an open bottle on the seat of a truck at the residence. Bays walked around behind the house, while Brickner knocked on the front door. Brickner described what happened next:
Comment: Kudos to the officers. This situation could've turned even more tragic.

In late-September of 2016, Professor Peterson took to YouTube to criticize the infamous Bill C-16, the legislation surrounding which made the use of non-binary preferred pronouns mandatory and criminalized 'misgendering' of those who identified as non-binary. The videos received widespread attention from both sides of the political spectrum, ignited a series of protests on the University of Toronto campus, demanding that Peterson be fired from his teaching position.
However, the videos also garnered international attention for Peterson, who is now seen as a free speech fundamentalist and an outspoken critic of cultural Marxism and postmodernism. Peterson's YouTube videos have gone viral, with many posting testimonials of how his lectures have changed their lives. Peterson has been invited on various TV networks, participated in debates and dialogues, and has given lectures on various university campuses. Some of his events were interrupted by protesters (including this one at McMaster University, where he was disrupted with chants of 'transphobic piece of s**t'), and at least one event that was supposed to be held at Ryerson University was shut down by local socialist groups.
On Friday, the Court of Appeal of Rome found the 33-year-old accountant, Valentino Talluto, guilty of spreading the HIV virus to 32 women after deliberately deceiving his victims into having unprotected sex.
After 11 hours of deliberations following the trial, in which the prosecution asked for a life sentence, the court found Talluto guilty of "grievous and incurable bodily harm," and sentenced him to 24 years behind bars.
Talluto, who in September showed some remorse to his victims, had no reaction when the sentence was read out Friday. His victims, however, started weeping.
Three officers with the Pomona Police Department were indicted Thursday for alleged civil rights violations that occurred during the arrest of then-16-year-old Christian Aguilar.
According to CBS LA, Sgt. Michael Neaderbaomer, Officer Chad Jensen and Officer Prince Hutchinson pleaded not guilty to multiple counts, including use of force, witness tampering, and falsifying records, all stemming from the September 16, 2015, incident.
The officers allegedly wrote a false police report to "justify the use of force" against Aguilar, who was not named in the federal indictment. The report claims the teen came within arm's length of another officer who was arresting a suspect and then attempted to punch Jensen in the face, while trying to "incite unrest," reports CBS.
It's been more than a month since the Law Society of Upper Canada (Ontario' bar association) told the province's lawyers that they would have to create "an individual Statement of Principles that acknowledges [their] obligation to promote equality, diversity and inclusion"-both "generally" (i.e., in their everyday lives), and in their "behaviour towards colleagues, employees, clients and the public."
Some Ontario lawyers have already declared their intention to ignore the new rule-a gesture I applaud. Whether or not Ontario's lawyers think their bar association should be acting as a shadow human rights tribunal, the new requirement makes no sense-because it serves as an enforcement mechanism for a non-existent mandate: There is nothing in existing law society rules that requires lawyers to become goodwill ambassadors for some arbitrary grab bag of civic virtues.
The prime minister's wife, Sara Netanyahu, is the subject of a civil suit by a 24-year-old former cleaner employed at the Beit Aghion residence between August and September, Yedioth Ahronoth reports. During the month of employment, the woman alleges that she was subjected to abuse and humiliating treatment.
In documents seen by Yedioth Ahronoth, it is alleged that Mrs. Netanyahu engaged in a strict cleanliness code, meaning the woman was forbidden from eating in the residence and had to wash her hands "about 100 times a day."
It is also alleged that Mrs. Netanyahu asked the employee to "promise that during her work she would refrain from going on vacation," and told her "I love workers who run... that's why I do not employ fat women."
In the suit, the woman claims that the guidelines for cleaning in the residence were "extreme," reports Haaretz, and she was left feeling like a "slave".

Comment: If we didn't see these pictures (and others like them) it would be difficult to imagine the situation has gotten this bad...
