So they finally did meet as the OSCE had wanted. Who "they"? Well, whomever the junta invited, but not the representatives of the southwestern Ukraine, that's for sure. The BBC made it look really "diverse" with this photo:

The beauty of "diversity"- all that is missing is a Ukrainian Hare-Krishna. I have found no list of participants. All I know is that the one key party to any such negotiations was not present. I am not sure whether this was because the proud junta did not want to talk to "terrorists" or because the said "terrorists" did not want to talk to the "occupying power" of their sovereign state. What is certain is that such "negotiations" are a total waste of time, which nobody in the Ukraine can afford.

According to one website "the talks lasted 2 1/2 hours and ended inconclusively". Amazing? What could they possibly have "negotiated" about and what kind of "conclusion" would anybody have expected?!

2) what topics were discussed

Two big, macabre stories came out of Wall Street recently: the rash of banker deaths by apparent murder and/or suicide, and speculation that bank CEOs themselves are behind the trend to cash in on the insurance.

It turns out that banks take out life insurance policies on their employees, and those policies pay out death benefits to the banks - not the families. In other words, to add to the banks' other crimes, they appear to also be involved in the "suicides" and deaths of their own, as a way to fatten their bottom line and bonuses.

Should we be surprised by this banker-on-banker death scam? After all, wasn't this what 9/11 was all about?

A new book by James Rickards, 'The Death of Money' (read: 'Death of Bankers'), opens with a timeline starting three days before the 9/11 attacks on the Twin Towers and describes them from a first-person account from inside the CIA, which was monitoring trading on airline stocks (specifically 'put options'), from traders who were profiting from the 9/11 disaster.

Jim Rickards is both a Washington insider and a Wall Street insider. He's a hedge fund manager and a lawyer who, amongst other roles, advised the government during the collapse of Long Term Capital Management (LTCM), as well as during the release of the hostages during the Iran Hostage Crisis of 1981. If anyone has the inside track on the Wall Street-Washington corridor of corruption, it's Mr. Rickards. And in his new book, he provides an eyewitness account of 9/11 insider 'terror trading' that was missing from the government's own report. Rickards is an unimpeachable source, and he has done a great service by blowing the whistle on this scandal, at least partially.

Police officers, fire fighters and other law enforcement employees in Murmansk or Arkhangelsk can forget about visiting friends or take a tourist trip to other Barents countries.

Russia's Ministry of Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters has issued travel restrictions to all employees like the country's firefighters, ambulance drivers and rescue troopers, reports LifeNews.

A similar travel ban is imposed for parts of employees under the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD) including tens of thousands of police officers, prison guards, and other law enforcement agencies like the Federal Drug Control and the Federal Migration Service. Others listed are people with access to state secrets, like certain employees of the Foreign Ministry. According to estimates, they are around 250,000 people.

The two reasons given to explain the travel ban are to take measure to prevent leaks of secrets and secondly, to prevent the possibility of being arrested by U.S. law enforcement agencies.

Following a crackdown on precious metal manipulation by various European regulators (mostly Germany's BaFin, recall "Precious Metals Manipulation Worse Than Libor Scandal, German Regulator Says"), which led to the shocking outcome that Deutsche Bank would pull out of the London gold and silver fixing committees, the London Silver Market Fixing company ended up with a most curious outcome: it would have just two members: HSBC and Bank of Nova Scotia. And, as an even more shocking result, overnight the London Silver Fix announced that after August 14, 2014 it will no longer exist - the first of many victories for all those who have fought for fair and unmanipulated precious metal markets.

Cash-strapped Ukraine is set to gain some much-needed financial support from the U.S. with a bond deal that will allow the country to borrow in global debt markets at ultra-cheap rates.

Ukraine's government said on its website Wednesday that it is setting out plans to raise $1 billion from a sale of five-year bonds that will be backed by the U.S.

The maximum yield will be 2.9%, the government said. By contrast, Ukraine's existing bonds maturing in six years are yielding about 11%, according to Tradeweb. Five-year U.S. Treasurys yield 1.593%, meaning that Ukraine's U.S.-backed bonds will be cheaper for investors to buy for essentially the same risk. Bond yields move in the opposite direction to prices. Separately the European Union Wednesday also raised 100 million euros ($137 million) from selling bonds, proceeds of which will be lent to Ukraine.

The funds will help Ukraine meet pressing bill payments, such as the cost of natural gas imports from Russia.

Another tragedy with many human casualties occurred on May 9 in Mariupol, a major city on the Sea of ​​Azov, Ukraine. Killing civilians in Ukraine has become commonplace, but pro-Maidan media outlets report cynical lies about it. Yuri Nosovsky, a Pravda.Ru correspondent in Ukraine, decided to separate truth from fabrications.

How did pro-Kiev publications comment the Odessa massacre in the House of Trade Unions? According to the "official version", a few dozen (according to other sources - more than a hundred) anti-Maidan activists burnt themselves alive, gassed themselves, and prior to that, they tortured themselves in the basement of the building. The real events are as far from this "hoax" as the Kiev junta is far from legitimacy. In the morning of May 9, Kiev-appointed new police chief of Mariupol, Valery Androschuk, demanded strong action should be taken to prevent Victory Day demonstrations in the city. He allowed the use of military weapons to shoot demonstrators. Indeed, for the Kiev junta and its appointees, any meeting with the use of St. George ribbons is equal to "terrorism" and "separatism."

Israel's former prime minister, Ehud Olmert, was sentenced to six years' imprisonment on Tuesday for taking bribes, in a corruption case that resulted in the first criminal conviction of a former head of government in Israel.


Olmert had denied wrongdoing in a real estate deal that took place while he was in his previous post of Jerusalem mayor and minister of industry and trade.

His attorneys were expected to ask the Tel Aviv court that passed sentence to allow Olmert, 68, to remain free until the Supreme Court rules on an appeal against his March 31 conviction, a process that could take months.

Two years ago, the veteran politician was acquitted of most of the major charges brought against him in separate cases involving his links to a U.S. businessman.

"We are currently sorting this situation out because the use in the purposes - and we do not even know in which purposes but if it was related to some forceful actions against the blocked Ukrainian cities, in particular, Kramatorsk, it is absolutely incompatible with the UN goals and these helicopters should be used solely with the permission of and in accordance with the UN mandate. No one has issued such a mandate on the use of UN aircraft regarding Ukraine," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov told Interfax.

The UN has made an exclusive comment for the RT TV channel on helicopters bearing UN markings in the sky above Kramatorsk. The UN press-secretary explained that using UN-labelled vehicles is allowed only when acting under the UN instructions. As there is no information about such instructions, this means that the Ukraine had no right to those actions.

Associate Spokesperson for the UN Secretary General Eri Kaneko told RT that the Department of Peacekeeping Operations and the Department of Field Support are already in contact with the Ukrainian authorities on this subject.

While commenting on Kiev's use of helicopters with UN logos, Eri Kaneko pointed out that responsibility for erasing UN markings from vehicles usually rests with the UN member-state that lends the vehicles to a country needing them.

With the recent revelations by NSA whistle blower Edward Snowden, it's no secret that we live on a planet characterized by mass surveillance and virtually zero privacy. We live in a world where we are constantly bombarded with the idea that we face threats, that a high level of national security is needed in order to keep us safe.

Think about it, the United States pumps a large majority of their money into the Department of Defence. A state of fear, war and terror is needed to keep those funds flowing in that direction. It doesn't stop there, remember when credit and debit cards changed into one with a chip? That could be you in a few years as multiple corporations are pushing to microchip the human race. In fact, microchip implants in humans are already on the market. For example, an American company called Applied Digital Solutions (ADS) has developed one approximately the size of a grain of rice, and has already had it approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for distribution and implementation. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Wash.), the No. 4 House Republican, is walking back comments attributed to her that ObamaCare can't be repealed. But she's not the only one suggesting Congress merely make changes within the framework of the health law. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) says the goal is to get the law "fixed." It seems many GOP lawmakers still haven't read the law, or they'd know the framework is corrupt.

Even Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) speculated Friday that repeal is unlikely because it will be "difficult to turn the clock back."

Nonsense. Even by the most inflated administration claims, some 8 million people have signed up for exchange plans, out of a nation of 318 million. ObamaCare is repealable, and should be replaced with a plan to cover the uninsured and reduce costs.

ObamaCare's authors paid lip service to these goals but had an ulterior motive: forging a permanent Democratic majority. The law creates a huge infrastructure for enrolling millions of people not just in insurance but also for food stamps, housing assistance and other welfare programs - and registering them to vote.
