'People will be going to jail': Sean Hannity warns Killary on email investigation

Hillary
Every time Hillary Clinton thinks she's out, they pull her back in.

At least that's what she must be feeling after even further revelations regarding her private email server have come to light in recent days.

First, her top aide, Huma Abedin, reportedly gave out passwords to government systems over an insecure Yahoo email account that was subsequently hacked by a Russian agent.

Comment: It always seems to be a given that Russian agents hacked into the election - even with no evidence provided - and even among those who seem to question the arguably criminal behavior of Huma Abedin and the rest of the Clintonistas - and who came up with the Russiagate nonsense to begin with!

Now, Republicans working on key congressional committees have found new 'irregularities and contradictions' surrounding the FBI's probe into Clinton's private server.

The Hill reported that investigators have found "written evidence" that the FBI believed laws had been broken when Clinton and her aides transmitted sensitive material over the server.
That evidence includes passages in FBI documents stating the "sheer volume" of classified information that flowed through Clinton's insecure emails was proof of criminality as well as an admission of false statements by one key witness in the case, the investigators said.

SOTT Focus: MEK Terrorist Death Cult: Meet Washington's 'Iranian Opposition'

As hundreds of thousands of Iranians take to the streets in support of their government and against recent violent demonstrations in the country, the chief commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) reports that the rioting seen in several Iranian cities over the last week is now under control. Claiming that "the Iranian nation has been targeted due to its resistance against the US and its lackeys and for its support for oppressed nations worldwide," Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari also reported that "a large number of the arrested trouble-makers at the center of the sedition had received training from counter-revolutionaries and the terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization [MKO/MEK - People's Mujahedin of Iran, aka National Council of Resistance of Iran]."

When President Rouhani spoke with French President Macron yesterday, he urged France to stop hosting the MEK, which has been based in Paris since its leaders fled Iran after the 1979 revolution. Macron didn't acknowledge his country's support for the MEK, but he did call on the US, Saudi Arabia and Israel to cool their aggressive rhetoric. Much as the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights spoon-feeds Western media with fake intel about what is going on there, and just as Turkey has to worry about the US-based fifth columnist Gulen network, Iran has to contend with a dodgy expatriate organization that Hillary Clinton got de-listed from the US List of Terror Organizations in 2012.

Undeterred by the sheer fantasy that a 'democratic revolution' could occur in a country that holds regular elections, it's all-systems go for the US media in its effort to 'catapult the propaganda' against the Iranian 'Islamic regime'. Fox News yesterday gave a platform to Alireza Jafarzadeh, deputy director of the Washington office of the MEK, in which he urged the Trump government to impose crippling sanctions (additional, presumably, to the existing ones) and to recognize his organization as the new government of Iran.

The heroic story of a righteous underdog fighting for noble ideals against a tyrannical regime has galvanized the US polity - right and left, including some among the ostensibly anti-globalist 'alt-media' - to proclaim their impassioned support for 'the Iranian opposition', whom they portray as democratic white knights against the theocratic despots ruling Iran. But a closer look at the 'better option' certain Westerners have deigned the 'saviors' of Iran reveals quite a different tale.

Pakistan slams US decision to halt aid: 'our citizens became victims of the war you initiated'

The US State Department has officially cut security funding for Pakistan, saying it will only be restored if Islamabad takes action against the Afghan Taliban and the Haqqani Network. The aid suspension may amount to $900 million.

State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert said she could not yet reveal the exact figure, but said the cut was "significant,"and would remain unallocated pending progress. She added that "there may be some exceptions" to the freeze "that are made on a case-by-case basis if determined to be critical to national security interests."

Going downhill: Expect even less freedom of internet in 2018

censorship internet
Users of social media have been increasingly reporting that their accounts have been either censored, blocked or suspended during the past year. Initially, some believed that the incidents might be technical in nature, with overloaded servers struggling to keep up with the large and growing number of accounts, but it eventually emerged that the interference was deliberate and was focused on individuals and groups that were involved in political or social activities considered to be controversial.

At the end of last year a number of Russian accounts on Facebook and elsewhere were suspended over the allegations that social media had been used to spread so-called false news that had possibly materially affected the 2016 presidential election in the United States. Even though it proved impossible to demonstrate that the relatively innocuous Russian efforts had any impact in comparison to the huge investment in advertising and propaganda engaged in by the two major parties, social media quickly responded to the negative publicity.

A major Beijing Belt, Road Inititative security fiasco is emerging

ErikPrince

A major security fiasco involving a major China state company and a Hong Kong-based corporate security company is emerging. It could potentially open up the massive Eurasian project of China, its Belt, Road Initiative (BRI), to major covert sabotage directed out of Langley Virginia CIA headquarters and carried out by a "Trojan Horse" the Chinese have hired to train their personnel to protect the high-speed Eurasian rail and deep water ports infrastructure from sabotage and terror attacks. The Hong Kong company is owned by Erik Prince, notorious founder of Blackwater Security.

At the same time Prince is being paid by the Chinese to protect their BRI, he is reportedly plotting with Trump and CIA chief Mike Pompeo to form a "private CIA, completely off the books" that would do black operations in many of the Eurasian countries linked to the BRI. This is shaping up as a major security fiasco for China's BRI if left uncorrected.

Private CIA

In early December a new element of Erik Prince's dubious role as a "private" security consultant came to light. Media reports indicated that Prince is quietly proposing to President Trump personally and to Trump CIA head Mike Pompeo, to create a top secret global private CIA, "off-the-books" that would carry out dirty tricks, assassinations and other black operations independent of the official CIA. According to the reports, Prince is proposing the project together with his longtime associate, CIA veteran John R. Maguire, who also has worked as a consultant to Prince's Hong Kong Frontier Services Group, about which more below.

They would reportedly create the "off-the-books" parallel CIA together with convicted Iran-Contra operative, Col. Oliver North, and would get US government funding to create a private mercenary force in both Pakistan, Afghanistan and send covert "private" destabilization agents into Iran and even North Korea among other proposed operations.

Comment: Blackwater reached an agreement with the State Department to pay $42 million in fines for hundreds of violations of US export control regulations. The violations included illegal weapons exports to Afghanistan, making unauthorized proposals to train troops in south Sudan, and providing sniper training for Taiwanese police officers. And as you've read above, this is not even the half of it. Why are the Americans, the Chinese, even considering this option? Perhaps it is about what can be done covertly, dastardly and privatized as in bought and paid for, avoiding a direct slam on those who hire its services.

Erdogan: US, Israel target Pakistan, Iran, Muslim countries for resources

Turkey's leader has accused the US and Israel of meddling in the affairs of Iran and Pakistan, as well as those of other Muslim countries, and are driven by the desire to grab their natural resources.

"We cannot accept that some countries - foremost the US, Israel - to interfere [sic!] in the internal affairs of Iran and Pakistan," Erdogan told reporters in Istanbul on Friday, AFP reports. On Tuesday President Donald Trump tweeted support for the protests "against the brutal and corrupt Iranian regime" which erupted last week.

While Erdogan did not elaborate on the US "interference" in Pakistan's affairs, the remark is likely attributable to the US decision to withhold security funding from the country which would have amounted to over $1 billion. Washington accuses Islamabad of sheltering Taliban militants and of not taking "decisive actions against terrorism."

The alleged US and Israeli interference is primarily driven by the desire to make "the plentiful underground riches in all these countries their own resources," Erdogan claimed. The two countries, as well as other western states, target primarily Muslim nations, "turning the people [there] against each other," he added. The disastrous results of such meddling can be seen in Syria, Iraq Palestine, Egypt and other countries, the president said.

Comment: In addition to the bonus of resources, the main game is to alter borders and hobble the ME, assuring Israel of an unimpeded race for control under the guise of its safety. A shame the US has fallen for this strategy and is party to the upheaval of many countries for 'the one.'

UNSC to discuss Iran after US calls to back anti-govt protests

Nikki Haley

The United Nations has announced the UN Security Council will convene Friday to discuss the situation in the Middle East, following calls by the US to hold an emergency session on the protests in Iran.

On Tuesday, US Ambassador Haley called for urgent meetings in the UNSC and the UN Human Rights Council to back the anti-government protesters.

"The UN must speak out," Haley said at a news conference. "In the days ahead, we will be calling for an emergency session both here in New York and at the Human Rights Council in Geneva. We must not be silent. The people of Iran are crying out for freedom."

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump posted tweet after tweet slamming what he called the "brutal and corrupt" Tehran authorities.

Iran's Ambassador to the UN has snapped back at the attacks by US officials, accusing them of "grotesque" interference in his country's internal affairs, and of encouraging regime change.

Comment: The president has 'invaded Iran' by sitting in the Oval Office pushing buttons on a smart phone. Interesting how Trump is fighting fake charges of Russiagate and then pulls these stunts of interfering in Iran's business with its own people.

Ryabkov: UNSC emergency meeting on Iran interferes with Iran's sovereignty

Russia's deputy foreign minister has slammed the US for calling an emergency UN Security Council meeting following instability in Iran, accusing Washington of fomenting unrest and destabilizing the government. "The United States continues its policy of open and covert interference into the affairs of other states. Under the guise of concern about human rights and democracy, they shamelessly attack the sovereignty of other nations," top diplomat Sergey Ryabkov told Russia's Interfax news agency.

"It is in this light that we see America's initiative to summon a UN Security Council meeting on a strictly internal issue."

Ryabkov said that Tehran's claims that the United States is driving the deadly street demonstrations from abroad were "not unfounded" and added that Washington uses "any means available" to undermine hostile foreign governments.

The US called for Friday afternoon's emergency meeting in New York on Tuesday, although majority support from the 15-member UN Security Council may be required for the discussion to go ahead. No resolution has been put forward.

Comment: Bringing Iran under world scrutiny, cui bono? Is it a psychological posturing meant to bring about a negative response leading to real and actionable consequences?

Forget about N. Korea: Russia is building EMP weapons

EMP bubble
© tvtropes.orgArtist rendition of EMP blast
Amid all the recent fears about North Korea building an electromagnetic-pulse weapon that could disrupt America's electronic backbone, another potential threat has been ignored: Russia's new Alabuga EMP weapons program.

Russian media describes a program that appears to be aimed at developing tactical EMP weapons that would affect a small area, rather than strategic arms that would disable, say, a nation's entire electrical grid.

"One component of the program involves the development of an EMP missile that emits an electromagnetic pulse 200-300 meters above an enemy position by means of a high-frequency high-power electromagnetic field generator," according to an article in Rossiyskaya Gazeta and translated by the U.S. Army's Foreign Military Studies Office.
"This EMP would create an ultra high frequency (UHF) field of approximately 3.5 kilometers, not only disabling computers, radars, communications systems and precision weapons, but also making them unusable by damaging their electronic components. Although the system is nonlethal and causes no adverse effects to humans, the electromagnetic effects of the missile (up to 100 gigawatts) are reportedly comparable to a nuclear weapon."

Erdogan: Washington accords and ties to Turkey are losing validity

Erdogan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said the world may be "doomed" if the conviction of a Turkish banker by a US court is how the US understands justice, and warned that US-Turkish ties and accords are "losing validity."

"The laws in our bilateral ties and the bilateral accords between us are losing their validity. I am saddened to say this, but this is how it will be from now on," the Turkish leader told reporters in Istanbul, before his official visit to France on Friday."If this is the US understanding of justice, then the world is doomed."

Erdogan was commenting on the conviction of a Turkish bank executive at majority state-owned Halkbank, Mehmet Hakan Atilla. On Wednesday, Manhattan Federal Court found Atilla guilty of five charges related to bank fraud and conspiracy to violate US sanctions law. The case is part of a wider US probe into an alleged Turkish conspiracy to evade US sanctions against Iran.

Comment: Turkey has one foot in the West and one foot on the doorstep of Russia, a pivotable barometer of 'advantages' or 'wrongs'. While playing each side to its benefit, Turkey unwittingly places itself in the crosshairs of increasingly opposing ideologies.
