All of seven Comey documents labeled classified

Every memo by former FBI Director James Comey on meetings with President Donald Trump was classified, a conservative watchdog reported citing a senior FBI official. Comey had testified the documents were his private notes.

Chris Farrell, director of investigations for the conservative group Judicial Watch made the claim in a Thursday evening appearance on Lou Dobbs' show on Fox News, citing an official in charge of the FBI's Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) program.

"We have a sworn declaration from David Hardy who is the chief FOIA officer of the FBI that we obtained just in the last few days, and in that sworn declaration, Mr. Hardy says that all of Comey's memos ‒ all of them ‒ were classified at the time they were written, and they remain classified," Farrell said.

Comment: The FBI's days of covering for Killary may be coming to an end as more collusion is exposed and indictments are issued. The bureau was concerned as to whether Killary had intent to break the law...and what of the FBI's intent?

Austrian Vice-Chancellor: Migrants could live in barracks with curfew - not going to happen

Austrian Vice-Chancellor Heinz-Christian Strache has suggested housing asylum seekers in barracks, saying that a curfew could even be imposed to enforce it. His ideas, however, are not slated for immediate implementation.

It would make sense "to use one or the other empty barracks," said the vice-chancellor, who is the leader of the right wing Austrian Freedom Party (FPO) while speaking on ORF broadcaster's show Wien Heute Thursday. There are seven barracks in the Austrian capital, Strache said. "We'll have to think which barracks' are best to use and which are not occupied," he added.

In addition, a curfew would be put in place for asylum seekers. "It has already been discussed in the past, whether all should be back in the barracks by a certain night time," the vice-chancellor said.

Strache elaborated further on the matter during a press conference Friday, stating the government has no plans on "mass accommodations" at the moment, and that his idea of using old barracks for housing migrants is currently off the table.

Austria's new government was sworn in last month, swaying sharply to the right wing of the political spectrum with the inclusion of the FPO in the coalition. The government's inaugural promises included stopping illegal immigration, cutting taxes and reducing the unemployment rate. "It will no longer happen that migrants who have never worked here a single day or paid anything into the social system will get thousands of euros in welfare!" Strache told his 750,000 followers in a Facebook post that has attracted 13,000 "likes."

Comment: The prevailing sentiment in Austria is to tighten borders and weed out asylum seekers. Austria is in defiance of EU policy and has been a target of criticism for its protectionist attitude and actions. See also:

UNSC convenes US-requested emergency meeting on Iran

UNSC

The UNSC held an emergency session on the situation in Iran, after a week of violent protests there resulted in 20 deaths. Moscow viewed the meeting, requested by the US, as interfering in Tehran's internal affairs.

The US Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, dubbed the ongoing unrest in Iran a "spontaneous expression of fundamental human rights," claiming the protests were simultaneously playing out in "over 78 locations."

"In the end, the Iranian people will determine their own destiny. Let there be no doubt the US stands unapologetically with those in Iran who seek freedom for themselves, prosperity for their families and dignity for their nation. We will not be quiet," Haley said, dismissing any attempts to paint the protesters as "puppets of foreign powers." The US envoy said Washington was absolutely sure they [the protesters] are acting on their own.

Russia's UN envoy, Vassily Nebenzia, accused the US of trying to exploit the UN mandate to interfere in Iran's internal affairs and undermine the nuclear deal.

"You are dispersing the energy of the Security Council, instead of focusing it on dealing with key crisis situations in Afghanistan, Syria Libya, Iraq, Yemen, DPRK, the African continent. Instead of that, you are proposing that we interfere in the internal affairs of a state. "The real reason for convening today's meaning is not an attempt to protect human rights or promote the interests of the Iranian people, but rather a veiled attempt to seize the current moment to continue to undermine the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA)," he said.

Comment: The US believes it has found its wedge in revisiting the tired crusade of 'suppressed masses yearning to be free'. Unfortunately, many countries no longer see or believe the US is that glorified beacon of 'justice and liberty for all'. Actions speak louder than hollow and manipulative words, and the world has noticed.

Slick Willie exposé: Fmr secret service officer reveals Clinton's sexual misadventures endangered lives of agents

Bill Clinton

Former President Bill Clinton endangered the lives of Secret Service agents because of his obsession with his mistresses according to a former agent assigned to Clinton's detail.

In an explosive new tell-all book published by former Secret Service Uniform Division Officer Gary J. Byrne, a UD Officer was nearly killed in a car accident one night as Bill Clinton tried to sneak over to a 'lady friend's' house.

Bill Clinton was so sex crazed that he got caught sneaking out of the White House one night with a raincoat over his head. This freak almost made it into the White House again. Let that sink in.

Comment: Seems the Teflon coating protecting the Clinton's may be wearing a bit thin:

Israel detains 313 children - but State Department denies having 'information on that'

Israel detains chidren
The State Department denies knowledge of 300 Palestinian children being detained by Israel, though that fact is well-established.

At a briefing on January 2, State's spokesperson was asked about the arrest of Ahed Tamimi, 16, in the middle of the night from her home in occupied Nabi Saleh.
QUESTION: I am talking about a very young teenage Palestinian, Ahed Tamimi, who was taken in the middle of the night. She stand - she stood before a military court yesterday with 12 charges and so on. Do you urge the Israelis to release the young teenager?

[Heather] NAUERT: Yeah. Said, I'm not going to have as much for you as you want on this particular situation. I'm a mom, you know, of small children. I think any parent watching could relate to concerns about the treatment of children. We believe that all individuals, especially children, should be treated humanely. They should be treated with respect for their human rights, their individual rights. I'm not going to have anything more for you on that. I'd have to refer you to the government.

China is reportedly planning to boost its military presence overseas with its second foreign naval base in Pakistan. The news comes amid a row between the US and Pakistan, with Washington freezing security funding for Islamabad.

After setting up its first foreign naval facility in Djibouti in August of last year, right next to the Pentagon's base, Beijing may now seek to gain a foothold in Pakistan. China plans to build a second overseas base near Gwadar - a strategically important Pakistani port on the Arabian Sea, according to sources close to the Chinese Army, as cited by the South China Morning Post.

An anonymous source told the outlet that the navy would set up a base near Gwadar as military vessels need "specific services" which cannot be provided by the existing commercial facility.

The challengers: Meet a few little-known Russian presidential election candidates

Russia's election officials have received a record 64 applications from potential candidates for the March 18 presidential race, the Central Election Commission announced on Tuesday.

Only a minority of applicants are expected to get the chance to challenge President Vladimir Putin's re-election bid by getting on the ballot, with deadlines for signatures fast approaching later this month.

Russia observers may recognize the names of several high-profile candidates, including celebrity Ksenia Sobchak, journalist Yekaterina Gordon, perennial Yabloko candidate Grigory Yavlinsky as well as business ombudsman Boris Titov.

Opposition leader Alexei Navalny was disqualified from running last week due to a criminal conviction that he argues is politically motivated.

Liberal Democratic Party leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky is so far the first and only candidate to have been registered by the Central Election Commission - his sixth overall attempt to attain higher office since 1991.

The Moscow Times is taking a look at the other potential candidates in this campaign season.

Comment: It doesn't appear that Putin will have much to worry about in terms of serious competition.

Surrounded by idiots: Moldova's President refuses to sign bill censoring Russian media, so his government will do it without him

dodon
© Dumitru Doru / EPA-EFEMoldovan President Igor Dodon is frequently at odds with Filip and his government, which favors closer ties with the EU and the United States.
Moldova's Constitutional Court has ruled that the government does not need the signature of pro-Russian President Igor Dodon in order to enact a law that bans so-called "media propaganda" from Russia.

Dodon has criticized and twice refused to sign the legislation, which effectively bans news programs from Russia.

"Since the president refused twice to fulfill his constitutional duty to sign the bill into law, he will be suspended temporarily," Justice Tudor Pantiru, the Constitutional Court's president, wrote in the ruling from Chisinau on January 5.

Instead, Pantiru wrote, the bill can be signed into law by Moldova's prime minister or the speaker of the parliament.

The ruling allows Prime Minister Pavel Filip or parliament speaker Andrian Candu -- a member of Filip's pro-Western Democratic Party -- to use the same procedure the court has supported in other recent cases when Dodon has refused to sign legislation into law.

Comment: Stop Russia. Ban the truth.
