Democrats Cheer as Deep State Goes to War With President-Elect on Trumped-up Charges

Trump CNN
In January, 1961, Dwight Eisenhower delivered his farewell address after serving two terms as U.S. president; the five-star general chose to warn Americans of this specific threat to democracy: "In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist." That warning was issued prior to the decadelong escalation of the Vietnam War, three more decades of Cold War mania, and the post-9/11 era, all of which radically expanded that unelected faction's power even further.

This is the faction that is now engaged in open warfare against the duly elected and already widely disliked president-elect, Donald Trump. They are using classic Cold War dirty tactics and the defining ingredients of what has until recently been denounced as "Fake News."

Their most valuable instrument is the U.S. media, much of which reflexively reveres, serves, believes, and sides with hidden intelligence officials. And Democrats, still reeling from their unexpected and traumatic election loss as well as a systemic collapse of their party, seemingly divorced further and further from reason with each passing day, are willing — eager — to embrace any claim, cheer any tactic, align with any villain, regardless of how unsupported, tawdry and damaging those behaviors might be.

Comment: Spellbound by the image of Trump that Hillary Clinton and her Deep State friends created, the 'Progressive Left' marches in lock-step with a criminal cabal that has spent decades assassinating, torturing, and terrorizing the citizens of the world.

JFK once fought against the Deep State and, amidst many other trials, helped the world avoid full-scale nuclear war with the Soviet Union. He paid for his courageous acts of conscience with his life. To say that Trump is in danger from 'Deep State Overlords' is no overstatement - it is a fact.

Nancy Pelosi refers Cardenas to House Ethics Committee after child molestation claim

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has declined to call upon Rep. Tony Cardenas (D-CA) to resign after he was sued for allegedly molesting a teenage girl whom he allegedly drugged in 2007.

Instead, Pelosi decided to refer Cardenas to the House Ethics Committee for investigation.

Late last week, Pelosi released a statement in which she indicated that she had spoken with Cardenas, and that he had "appropriately asked us to withhold judgment until there is a full investigation of the facts."

Comment: The Democrats are only taking a 'cautious approach' to these allegations because Cardenas is one of them. CNN reports:
With control of the House of Representatives at stake, Democrats are on offense as they try to capture the seven seats held by Republicans in districts won by Hillary Clinton. They can't afford to lose a single seat -- much less a rock-solid Democratic district like that of Cardenas, who was re-elected to his third term in the San Fernando Valley with 75% of the vote.

Vanessa Beeley on the McCain-White Helmets connection, and whether the 'funding freeze' is real

On the 3rd of May Sputnik published a report exposing potential U.S plans to stage another 'chemical weapon' provocation in Syria. Preparations allegedly began on April 23rd to ship civilians to "to a territory near Jafra oil field to participate in a staged filming of an attack scene"...
"US security services are planning provocations with the use of prohibited substances in Syria. The operation is led by a former militant of the Islamic State *[Daesh], Mishan Idris Hamash. The aim is to stage a chemical attack against civilians to be further spread in the media," the source told Sputnik.
Yes, this is a report from an anonymous source and has been belittled by the mainstream media in the West whose knee-jerk reaction to any information issued by a Russian media outlet is outright denigration and ridicule. However, the subsequent sequence of statements issued in relation to an alleged funding "freeze" for the U.S/UK White Helmet intelligence assets operating under their "regime change" coalition rules in Syria is worth remarking upon.

Among the first to publish the "U.S freezes funding for Syria's White Helmets" story was CBS News, describing the terrorist-affiliated group as "one of the most important humanitarian rescue groups in Syria". There was then a flurry of activity in corporate media and on social media with anti-war activists and journalists celebrating what appeared to be a change of heart from the Trump administration.

We should not, however, forget that on the 19th April US State Department spokesperson, Heather Nauert, had issued reassurances that wages would continue be paid to the White Helmets while the funding of the Syria stabilisation program was under "review":

Iranian president Rouhani: Iran may stay in nuclear deal after US withdrawal if it's guaranteed by remaining parties

Iran's President Hassan Rouhani
The Iranian president has hinted his country could continue to comply with the 2015 nuclear deal even if US President Donald Trump pulls out of it. It would take guarantees of compliance from the remaining signatories.

President Hassan Rouhani indicated on Monday that the disputed nuclear deal can still survive beyond a potential US withdrawal if the UK, France, Russia, China and Germany make up for Washington's exit.

"We have our own plan. Either what we demand from the JCPOA is fulfilled by the non-American [parties, and in that case] the US withdrawal will be the removal of a trouble, or we [will resort to] our legal and rational option... if what we expect is not fully accomplished," he explained, at a meeting in Iran's Mashhad, as cited by Tasnim News Agency.

'Pettifoggery': Mueller witch hunt in jeopardy as made up accusations play out in court, facts and evidence demanded

Mueller
A funny thing happened on the way to impeaching Donald Trump. After two-years of investigations by a highly politicized FBI and a Special Counsel stacked with Clinton supporters, Robert Mueller's probe has resulted in the resignation of National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, the arrests of Paul Manafort and Rick Gates, and the indictment of 13 Russian nationals on allegations of hacking the 2016 election - along with the raid of Trump's personal attorney, Michael Cohen.

The nation has been on the edge of insanity waiting for that much-promised and long awaited link tying President Trump to Vladimir Putin we were all promised, only to find out that there is no link, the deck appears to have been heavily stacked against Donald Trump by bad actors operating at the highest levels of the FBI, DOJ, Obama admin and Clinton camp, and the real Russian conspiracy in the 2016 election was the participation of high level Kremlin sources used in the anti-Trump dossier that Hillary Clinton paid for.

Now, as the out-of-control investigation moves from the headlines and into court, the all-encompassing "witch hunt," as Trump calls it, may be in serious jeopardy.

As of Friday, three separate Judges have rendered harsh setbacks to the Mueller investigation - demanding, if you can believe it, facts and evidence to back up the Special Counsel's claims - in unredacted format as one Judge demands, or risk having the cases tossed out altogether.

Comment: What is Mueller's Deep State gonna do now - accuse the judges of being linked to the Kremlin? There are still some judges and lawmakers out there who have integrity after all. But the witch hunt may have never been about actually prosecuting anyone for any 'Russian Collusion' 'cause there isn't any. It's all about preventing Trump from having any kind of reasonable working relationship with Russia that would not make Russia out to look like the dastardly villain and enemy the US shadow government would have them be.

Relentless Russia Bashing

Washington and Britain are allied in waging political, economic, and propaganda war on Russia.
putin did it
Phony Skripal and other accusations against the Kremlin have no evidence proving them. A year-and-a-half after blaming Moscow for interfering in America's 2016 presidential election, the US intelligence community has yet to release any proof corroborating it.

Clearly, there is none. If it existed, it would have been revealed long ago. The same holds for the Skripal incident. Two months after it occurred, no evidence links it to Russia - just baseless accusations with nothing backing them.

Undeterred, Britain intends using four international forums this year, calling for intensified political, economic and propaganda war Russia, using the Skripal and Douma false flags as justification - the March EU summit, G7 June session, NATO leaders meeting in July, and Nov. 30/Dec. 1 G20 summit.

Trump mocks Mueller and his band of "13 Angry Democrats" for the witch hunt

It's a new week and that means new tweets from our President Donald Trump.
Mueller - Trump
On Monday morning President Trump mocked crooked cop Robert Mueller and his band of 13 angry Democrats in their failed attempt to steal and election.
President Trump: The Russia Witch Hunt is rapidly losing credibility. House Intelligence Committee found No Collusion, Coordination or anything else with Russia. So now the Probe says OK, what else is there? How about Obstruction for a made up, phony crime. There is no O, it's called Fighting Back. The 13 Angry Democrats in charge of the Russian Witch Hunt are starting to find out that there is a Court System in place that actually protects people from injustice...and just wait 'till the Courts get to see your unrevealed Conflicts of Interest!

The Russian President Vladimir Putin captivated audiences, opening his heart to all of Russia, during his inauguration ceremony. He candidly explained that his life's purpose is fight for Russia. The head of state stressed that he was aware of the "colossal responsibility to the people and Russia."

Modernizing the (actual) international community: China to build power plant in Bangladesh, bringing all its citizens electricity for first time

overhead power lines
The state-run Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) and China Huadian Hongkong Company Limited (CHDHK) have signed an agreement to form a joint venture company to set up a coal-based power plant with a capacity of 1,320 megawatts, a senior BPDB official said on Monday.

"These two firms signed the deal on Sunday to set up the plant at Moheshkhali island in Cox's Bazar district, 415 kilometers (260 miles) south east from Dhaka," said Mohammad Saiful Islam, a director of the BPDB.

The joint venture, equally owned by both the companies, will take four years to start production, the official said.

Another official, who is directly involved with the project, said that as per the initial plan it might cost about $2 billion to implement the project.

The warmakers take aim on Iran

the warmakers
Between the US strikes on Syria in April and the recent developments on the Korean Peninsula, we are in somewhat of a lull in the Empire's search for a new war to start. The always helpful Israelis, in the person of the ineffable Bibi Netanyahu, are now beating the drums for, well, if not a war, then at least some kind of false flag or pretext to make the US strike at Iran. And then there is the always bleeding Donbass (which I won't address in today's analysis). So let's see where we stand and try to guesstimate where we might be heading. To be honest, trying to guess what ignorant warmongering psychopaths might do next is by definition a futile exercise, but since there are some not negligible signs that there are at least a few rational people still left in the US White House and/or Pentagon (as shown by the mostly "pretend strikes" on Syria last month), we can assume (hope) that some residual degree of sanity is still present. At the very least Americans in uniform have to ask themselves a very basic and yet fundamental question:

Do I want to die for Israel? Do I want to lose my job for Israel? How about my pension? Maybe just my stock options? Is it worth risking a major regional war for such a "wonderful" state?

A lot depends on whether the US military leaders (and people!) will have the courage to ask themselves this question and, if they do, what their reply will be.

Comment: This is to say nothing of the fact that Iran is now a strategic and economic ally of Russia. While Russia has already shown great restraint in its responses to Western and Israeli aggression and provocation in Syria, these warmakers, as the author puts it, just don't know when to quit. We can probably expect Israel to act even crazier in the coming weeks and months until it finally compels Iran and Russia to respond and then draw others in...
