Puppet Masters
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau went after Klitschko and two of his deputies following complaints by the Ukrainian MPs who suspected the trio of abuse of power during the reconstruction of a bridge in the capital. They claimed that the city officials deliberately overstated the amount of funds used in the project.
The three-time world boxing champion was also accused of treason, using Kiev's budget to illegally enrich private individuals, unauthorized land grab and other wrongdoings.
The case against the mayor was launched amid months of fruitless attempts by the administration of Ukraine's new president, Volodymyr Zelensky, to remove him from office.
As one of the most detailed assessments of Iran's military strategy suggests, the Islamic Republic's "third party capability" has becomes Tehran's most prominent weapon of choice.
The 16-month study by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) called Iran's Networks of Influence claims that the networks, including Shia militias fighting in what it says is a "grey zone", for instance, are something Iran heavily relies on, even to a greater extent than conventional military forces.
The network is said to be operating differently in most countries, having been designed by Tehran as a key means of countering regional instability and international pressure alike, with the policy "having consistently delivered Iran advantage without the cost or risk of direct confrontation with adversaries".
Although the report concedes that overall military balance is still in favour of the US and allies, the balance of effective forces has shifted towards Iran and is currently in the Islamic Republic's favour. The study goes on to claim that "Iran is fighting and winning wars 'fought amongst the people', not wars between states".

Many of these policies have been the subject of substantial condemnation - from Palestinians, of course, as well as Israeli and international human rights groups, and even world leaders and politicians - albeit, critically, with little concrete action at the state level.
Israel, however, has sought to thwart even the possibility of meaningful accountability. Its approach has been very simple: in the face of criticism for breaking the law, change the law.
Bachelet is no stranger to dictatorship tactics. Her father, General Alberto Bachelet, died of torture at the hands of the National Intelligence Directorate (DINA) in 1974. Bachelet and her mother were detained and tortured at Villa Grimaldi; in a statement in 2013, she had revealed that her torturer was none other than DINA Chief Manuel Contreras.
When politics is divested of memory, the cycle of human rights violations is guaranteed. Just a week after the protests erupted in Chile, with Chileans facing military violence for taking to the streets and demanding an end to the dictatorship constitution, as well as President Sebastian Piñera's resignation, Bachelet issued a weak statement in her capacity as UNHRC Chief.

"There needs to be open and sincere dialogue by all actors concerned to help resolve this situation, including a profound examination of the wide range of socio-economic issues underlying the current crisis," Bachelet stated.
The statement is misleading on several levels. Primarily, open and sincere dialogue cannot happen with a government that approves dictatorship tactics in a democracy, no matter how flawed the democratic implementation is. Secondly, Bachelet is wrong in defining the nation-wide protests as "the current crisis". This is an ongoing crisis which the democratic transition refused to tackle; like other governments, Bachelet played a role in preserving the neoliberal project unleashed upon Chile by the US-backed military coup.
Pharma Pimps
If you scan the Board of Trustees of the NGO USP you will immediately run into BIG BUSINESS shining like the sleazy glow from some red-light district brothel in Paris or New Orleans. Aventis, Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, India's Laurus Labs, Eli Lilly & Company, Pfizer, Pharmacia, Upjohn, France's Sanofi, and all the likely suspects are proudly listed in plain sight. The agri-giants are there too, smiling out at you like comic book villains from DC or Marvel. There's FSG consulting executives proud to have been solving the world's problems since the Soviet Union fell. FDA Chief Scientists are listed, and so are Washington regulatory specialists (and lobbyists) representing firms like Greenleaf Health Inc.
Ronald T. Piervincenzi, Ph.D., the CEO of USP could serve as the poster boy for big pharma and big Agra businesses. Ronald's major in college way biomedical engineering. Ronald now sets the standards for most every medication sold in the United States. He got his start at Hofstra University on Long Island and from visits to the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington DC. He went to Duke University and got a "magical" full-time position with McKinsey & Company. You can read the rest of "Ron Piervincenzi: A Series of Fortunate Events" here.

No aggressive objective has been achieved by the Trump government
Under President Trump, the USA had three main targets: China and North Korea, Iran and the Middle East, Venezuela and Cuba. All the corresponding attacks have been successfully repelled.
After the protests in Ecuador and in Chile and the elections in Bolivia and Argentina, the political position of Venezuela has been much strengthened. Now, the isolated countries in South America are rather Brazil and Colombia, not Venezuela.

Comment: This report is actually from mid-summer this year. We're running it today because we missed it at the time. Carl Beech was not the first to go down on the basis of being sentenced for the very thing he was exposing his accusers of doing, and he probably won't be the last. The pedocracy always protects its own...
The sweeping investigation following Carl Beech's allegations came after revelations that late BBC entertainer Jimmy Savile was a long-time child sex abuser
When Carl Beech made stunning allegations that senior British politicians and military figures were engaged in a murderous pedophile ring, the country was already reeling from a failure to identify a high-profile prolific child sex abuser.
Jimmy Savile, one of the highest paid BBC entertainers of his day and a flamboyant personality who was friends with royalty, died in 2011. A year later a documentary revealed he was a prolific pedophile who for six decades used his status to abuse what was thought to be more than 1,000 children.
It was in the light of that shocking case that Beech made explosive claims that would lead police to raid the homes of politicians and military officers in the search for the evidence that would expose the pedophile ring.
Comment: The poor sod probably assumed it would be safe to do so because it had by then - thanks to the Savile scandal and other revelations about a political-military child rape ring involving Britain's 'best and brightest' - become a national scandal and 'justice will surely follow'. Think again. The pedocracy will sooner plunge its own country into civil war than give up its 'liberty' to consume children.
Comment: They even nicked his paltry compensation from him.
Meanwhile, when MI6 officers are caught with child rape images on their computers, they get away with it:
The UK establishment was on the rocks up until about 2015 as scandal after scandal forced then Home Secretary Theresa May to announce an 'independent inquiry' into the plethora of claims about British political and military figures going back decades. While there have been occasional updates about its progress, the above appears to be the British establishment's predominant answer to the people:
"SHUT UP AND GO AWAY."
Thankfully for them, the 'Brexit' fiasco has dominated the airwaves since 2016...
Deals were struck in the fields of aeronautics, energy and agriculture, including approval for 20 French companies to export poultry, beef and pork to China.
They also agreed to expand a protocol for poultry exports reached this year to include duck and geese as well as foie gras, and to work on a protocol allowing France to export pig semen to China, said a statement from Macron's office.
Comment: Prior to leaving for China, Macron told The Economist during an hour-long interview:
"What we are currently experiencing is the brain death of NATO. Europe stands on the edge of a precipice. It needs to start thinking of itself strategically, as a geopolitical power. Otherwise we will no longer be in control of our destiny."The president also argued that it is high time for Europe to "wake up". He was asked whether he believed in the effectiveness of Article Five, the idea that if one NATO member is attacked all would come to its aid:
"I don't know. But what will Article Five mean tomorrow?"Update 21:30 CET
Proving Macron's point, NATO's Secretary-General (secretary, really) has since piped up to counter Macron by saying "European unity cannot replace transatlantic unity," and warning that "the EU cannot defend Europe without outside assistance."
What a brain-dead cuck!
Update 8 Nov @13:00 CET
Maria Zakharova loves it though:
"Golden words. True and accurate. A proper definition of the current state of NATO."
Comment: Interestingly, but perhaps not surprisingly, the author of the video includes a "sixth eye" country that doesn't often get lumped in with the five eyes we've been learning about. Can you guess which country it is?
This is vital information: Suzie visually maps out the "intelligence empire" run by the NSA and explains it in an easy-to-understand way.

"Major movers" such as China, Russia and the European Union have a strong "motivation to de-dollarize," said Korin, co-director at the energy and security think tank, on Wednesday.Irrespective of where you reside in the world, chances are you feel some sense of unease, a nagging concern for the future and a deep instinctual understanding that an era you knew and navigated your entire life is slipping away and won't be coming back.
"We don't know what's going to come next, but what we do know is that the current situation is unsustainable."
- Anne Korin, Institute for the Analysis of Global Security.
We've been witnessing widespread protest and unrest across countries with distinct political and economic systems, such as Hong Kong, France, Chile, Spain, Ecuador, Lebanon and Venezuela just to name a few. Those with vested interests and an ideological solution to sell insist it's all because of socialism, capitalism or some other ism, but the truth is this goes far deeper than that. What's actually happening is the geopolitical and economic paradigm that's dominated the planet for decades is failing, and rather than address the failure in any real sense, elites globally have decided to loot everything they possibly can until the house of cards comes crashing down.

Comment: RFE/RL quotes one Iranian official's response to the report: This is the real reason Iran is considered an enemy by the U.S. and Israel - because they are formidable. If Iran were weak, they wouldn't matter so much, but because they have successfully built up their military power, they are deemed a threat. Israel cannot practice absolute hegemony in the region, and the U.S. cannot control Iran and thus protect Israel. The only reason Hezbollah is considered a terrorist organization is because they are a threat to Israel. Iran's 'effective power' is also the reason why the U.S. has yet to attack them as they did Iraq - a war with Iran would not be a cakewalk.
