US President Joe Biden to US Citizens: Find your own way out!
Democrat President Joe Biden's administration has reportedly indicated that it will not be able to evacuate U.S. citizens from Ukraine amid rapidly deteriorating conditions as Russia appears likely to invade at any moment.
"Given that the President has said military action by Russia could come at any time, the U.S. government will not be in a position to evacuate U.S. citizens."
Biden's State Department said, according to Fox News correspondent Jennifer Griffin:
"So U.S. citizens, currently present in Ukraine should plan accordingly."

Fed study on digital currency leans toward role for banks

The Federal Reserve on Thursday released a highly anticipated report on central bank digital currencies that suggested it is leaning toward having banks and other financial firms, rather than the Fed itself, manage digital accounts for customers.

A central bank digital currency would differ in some key ways from the online and digital payments that millions of Americans already conduct. Those transactions are funneled through banks, which wouldn't be necessary with a digital dollar.

The Fed's paper stressed that no final decisions about a digital currency have been reached. But it suggested that a digital currency that "would best serve the needs" of the nation would follow an "intermediated model" under which banks or payment firms would create accounts or digital wallets.

The Fed characterized the potential introduction of a digital currency as a step that could have far-reaching consequences for banks and other financial firms as well as for the central bank itself. The study said:
"The introduction of a (central bank digital currency) would represent a highly significant innovation in American money. It could fundamentally change the structure of the U.S. financial system, altering the roles and responsibilities of the private sector and the central bank."

Comment: No final decision...they always say this to calibrate how passive or turbulent the feedback. So far, Russia isn't buying into this scheme and neither is China. Not anchored by tangible assets, digital currencies are more vulnerable to manipulation.

It doesn't matter that voters hate Joe Biden if Democrats can rig elections

US President Joe Biden
Just a month before the 2020 election, radio host Rush Limbaugh commented that Democrats
"resent the whole premise behind elections. Look, they don't believe they should have to persuade anybody to agree with them ... The modern-day Democrats have to go through the motions of campaigning, and they have to go through the motions of trying to win the hearts and minds of voters. But they resent the h-ll out of it. And in their world, it's the one thing standing in their way: This need, this requirement to win elections. And I'm just telling you: As soon as they can figure out a way to eliminate elections, they will do it."
Today, Democrats are engaged in a full-court press to pass legislation that would brush state election safeguards aside and codify the shenanigans of 2020 into federal law. They'll nuke the filibuster if they can, a step never taken previously for high-priority legislation but pursued now for a bill that nobody is marching in the streets for. Anything to cement themselves into a permanent position of power.

As Joe Biden himself said,
"It's about election subversion, not just whether or not people get to vote. Who counts the vote? That's what this is about, that's what makes this so different from anything else we've ever done."

NATO on standby, deploys some jets & ships, Russia responds with 20 warships in Baltic

On Monday NATO announced it has put its forces on "standby" while initiating deployment of additional ships and fighter jets to Eastern Europe. "NATO will continue to take all necessary measures to protect and defend all Allies, including by reinforcing the eastern part of the Alliance," NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said in a statement.

Comment: NATO is 'defending' nothing, because it instigated the current situation, and it's quite clearly the aggressor.

"We will always respond to any deterioration of our security environment, including through strengthening our collective defense," Stoltenberg added, while discussing the ongoing Russia-Ukraine showdown, which the Kremlin has denounced as hype and based on false allegations it's planning an invasion. The Kremlin has further reiterated its plea for Western countries to stop the "hysteria", which itself is hyping the crisis further. One NATO diplomat has been cited in reports Monday saying the Biden administration is mulling a move to transfer some troops from Western Europe to Eastern Europe in the coming weeks.

Comment: It would appear that whilst NATO thinks it can continue to play games, which is why its actions don't match its rhetoric, Russia seems to be sending the signal that it isn't playing anymore: Also check out SOTT radio's: NewsReal: Ukraine Gambit - US Attempting to Destroy Russia

Judicial Watch announced today the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) told Judicial Watch in a response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request that it has communications from Pfizer in an investigative file targeting Project Veritas. (In October 2021, Project Veritas, a nonprofit investigative journalism organization, published two viral stories [here and here] about the Pfizer covid vaccine.)

On December 21, 2021, Judicial Watch filed a FOIA request for:
All records of communications, whether by email (on .gov or non.gov email accounts), text message, or instant chat, between officials in the FBI, including but not limited to officials in the offices of the FBI New York Field Office on the one hand, and employees and representatives of Pfizer Inc. on the other hand, regarding Project Veritas founder James O'Keefe and/or Project Veritas.

Email communications with Pfizer Inc. employees or representatives include but are not limited to those with the email domain "@pfizer.com".

Comment: Here's James O'Keefe's take on it:

Stupid "son of a b*tch" - Biden busted on hot mic after being asked about worrying inflation rates

Journalist Peter Doocy (L), President Joe Biden (R)
Just days after President Biden was caught on hot mic calling a reporter's question over the Ukraine conflict "stupid," the US Commander-in-Chief downplayed a question over one of, if not THE most important worry for Americans right now - inflation.
"Do you think inflation is a political liability ahead of the midterms?" asked Fox News' Peter Doocy as Biden was wrapping up a press conference for the White House's Competition Council.

"No. It's a great asset. More inflation. What a stupid son of a bitch," replied Biden.

No respect for Putin: how a call for cooperation with Russia ended a German vice-admiral's career

Kay-Achim Schönbach
The head of the German navy, Vice-Admiral Kay-Achim Schönbach, has resigned in the wake of a scandal in which he faced accusations of being too pro-Moscow. Speaking at the Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses in New Delhi, India, Schönbach had argued that Russia, under its president Vladimir Putin, was fundamentally not interested in taking Ukrainian territory, but, rather, wanted respect from the West and, in particular, to be treated as equals.

In his view, the West should offer that respect, for three reasons: because it would be easy, because Russia and its leader deserve it, and because Europe needs Moscow as an ally against China. Schönbach also appealed in the name of religion, describing himself as a committed Roman Catholic and maintaining that Russia's Christian identity points to the need for partnership between the country and other mostly Christian nations. As for Crimea, he was frank about his conviction that it would not return to Ukrainian control.

The talk was recorded and uploaded to YouTube, which may have been fatal for his career. If his statements had not been so readily available, perhaps they would have passed unnoticed.

Ukraine crisis: The US 'toolbox' is empty

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Russia Secretary of State Sergei Lavrov
The toolbox is empty. Russia knows this. Biden knows this. Blinken knows this. CNN knows this. The only ones who aren't aware of this are the American people.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, in a hastily scheduled, 90-minute summit in Geneva yesterday, after which both sides lauded the meeting as worthwhile because it kept the door open for a diplomatic resolution to the ongoing crisis in Ukraine. What "keeping the door open" entails, however, represents two completely different realities.

For Blinken, the important thing appears to be process, continuing a dialogue which, by its very essence, creates the impression of progress, with progress being measured in increments of time, as opposed to results.

China sends largest incursion of jets into Taiwan 'defence zone' in months

China sent 39 warplanes -- mostly fighter jets -- into Taiwan's air defence zone on Sunday, the island's government said.

The final quarter of 2021 saw a massive spike of incursions from China into Taiwan's air defence identification zone (ADIZ), with the biggest single day coming on October 4, when 56 Chinese warplanes entered the zone.

Taiwan's defence ministry said in a statement late Sunday it scrambled its own aircraft to broadcast warnings and deployed missiles to track 39 Chinese jets that entered the ADIZ.

The incursions included 24 J-16 fighters -- which experts say are among China's favourite jets for testing Taiwan's air defences -- 10 J-10 fighters and one nuclear-capable H-6 bomber.

Comment: So part of this 'defence zone' is actually China's airspace, too, however, it's possible that this is a deliberate show of force by China, considering the West's meddling in Taiwan, and more so because of its escalation in Ukraine.

In addition to the F-16V crash reported above, just yesterday a US Navy F-35 crash landed on the USS Carl Vinson in the South China Sea, injuring 7 personnel:

Russia accuses NATO of escalating Ukraine tensions through 'hysteria' and ramping up deployments

Putin

Peskov said Monday that Ukraine was preparing an offensive in the east of the country where Kyiv troops have been fighting pro-Russia separatists since 2014

Russia has accused Washington and NATO of escalating tensions through "information hysteria" over deployment of troops in Ukraine.

"As for specific actions, we see statements by the North Atlantic Alliance about reinforcement, pulling forces and resources to the eastern flank. All this leads to the fact that tensions are growing," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"This is not happening because of what we, Russia, are doing. This is all happening because of what NATO and the U.S. are doing and due to the information they are spreading."

He said the West was showing "hysteria" and putting out information "laced with lies".

Comment: It's perhaps no coincidence that the establishment's sudden escalation of aggression against Russia occurs just as it, basically, drops its contrived, globally coordinated, coronavirus crisis. In the past year it started to become clear that Russia and China were losing patience with the West and were taking a much firmer stance than before, and it's likely because they could see that the West was becoming increasingly desperate and that they were looking for a scapegoat to blame for, as well as to facilitate, the next stage in their agenda: Also check out SOTT radio's: NewsReal: Ukraine Gambit - US Attempting to Destroy Russia
