Puppet Masters
"There are several camps operated by [Islamic State, previously ISIS/ISIL, in Afghanistan] that train people from Central Asia and some regions of Russia. They speak Russian there," said Zamir Kabulov, President Putin's special representative for Afghanistan.
He added that there is a wide national variety of instructors in those camps. There are Arabs, Pakistanis and even people with US and British citizenship, he said.
Russian intelligence estimates the number of militants in Afghanistan who have pledged allegiance to the Syria- and Iraq-based Islamic State, at 3,500, Kabulov said, and the number is rising.
These are the 12 nations:
AustraliaEveryone who has seen the agreement (the negotiators for those international corporations, and their politicians) has signed a form promising:
Brunei
Canada
Chile
Japan
Malaysia
Mexico
New Zealand
Peru
Singapore
United States
Vietnam
"to treat negotiating texts and other documents exchanged in the course of the negotiations as confidential government information," and "that these confidentiality requirements shall apply for four years after entry into force of the TPP."
"At no time did the [US-led anti-IS] Coalition [in Syria] feel our remotely piloted aircraft were threatened and we expect Russian pilots to act in a responsible, professional manner if they encounter any coalition aircraft. Coalition forces remain focused and committed to our mission to degrade and ultimately destroy ISIL," Baldanza told RIA Novosti on Wednesday.
The statement comes after the Pentagon said at least one American military aircraft was forced to divert its route when flying over Syrian airspace in order to avoid making contact with a Russian warplane, as reported by AP, citing US military spokesperson Naval Captain Jeff Davis.
Davis could not provide any more details, except that some US air operations had had to be changed since Russia began its air campaign. Unconfirmed American media reports also claimed that Russian fighter jets "intercepted" US MQ-1 Predator drones over Syria. Details, however, suggested that the drones' flight paths were not hampered despite close fly-bys.
Comment: It's looking like the U.S. is first to blink in the covert confrontation with Russia in Syria. Perhaps Russian jets pose 'no threat' to U.S. drones simply because the Americans know Russia means business: Russia has established a de facto no-fly zone in Syria and any U.S. drones causing mischief would get a swift reaction from the Russians.
The revelation comes at a time when Obama, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009, has faced increasing criticism for his use of drones to target insurgents and terrorist suspects, particularly in Pakistan and Yemen.
The London-based Bureau of Investigative Journalism estimates that Obama has authorized 326 drone strikes. Since 2004, CIA unmanned aerial vehicles have killed 2,500 to 3,600 people - including up to 950 civilians.
Double Down: Game Change 2012, will be released on Tuesday, but at least one early review points out the shocking detail included by authors Mark Halperin and John Heilemann.
A Washington Post report makes passing reference to the anecdote, saying that while speaking with his aides about the drone program Obama bragged that he was 'really good at killing people.'
The Obama Administration has not responded specifically to reports of the alleged boast from the President.
Comment: Well, we tried to warn folks back when he arrived on the scene, but all too many drank the 'hope and change' kool-aid:
Barak Obama - Judas Goat
Going through the official Obama text it's difficult to find even one sentence where he speaks honestly. It's an example not of grey propaganda but black. I cite several of the most egregious instances.
Near the start after the usual pious homage to the 70-year history of the United Nations, Mr. Obama says, "the United States has worked with many nations in this Assembly to prevent a third world war — by forging alliances with old adversaries; by supporting the steady emergence of strong democracies accountable to their people instead of any foreign power."
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society has reported that 18 protesters were injured by rubber bullets, and four more by pepper spray, after a group of youths attacked a convoy of Israeli military vehicles outside Ramallah, the seat of government of the Palestinian Authority. The Times of Israel reported that at least one Palestinian youth was taken to a hospital in Jerusalem in critical condition.
"Today near Beit El, 350 Palestinians threw stones and Molotov cocktails, set tires on fire and shot fireworks at IDF soldiers. In response, the IDF fired at the main agitators," said a statement from the Israel Defense Forces, given to the Times of Israel.
Palestinian media was outraged by footage shot by several cameras, including those belonging to RT, which showed Israeli soldiers continuing to beat and kick several protesters long after they had been restrained.
IDF has said it would investigate the footage.
Comment: Palestinians are understandably sick and tired of their endless oppression under Israeli forces, so they are naturally fighting back. But it's also highly likely that Israelis posing as Palestinians are using violence on Israeli civilians in order to justify the brutal repression of the Palestinian people.
Moldovan police have managed to prevent at least four attempts by criminal networks to sell nuclear material, including bomb-grade uranium, to the Islamic State group, according to media reports.
The policemen acted together with FBI agents to catch the criminals during a spate of sting operations in Moldova, a former Soviet republic located between Romania and Ukraine.
Comment: It is fishy how the sellers get away with the loot. Since the FBI is involved and well known for setting up patsies to demonstrate how they stop terrorism, could this be the setup for a false flag operation and blaming Russia?
- Dept. of Justice sued by Associated Press over FBI refusal to provide records on case where agency created fake news story to trap suspect

Russia launched its air campaign in Syria on September 30, making 120 combat sorties that hit 110 targets in just over a week, according to the Defense Ministry. Among the objects destroyed are:
- 71 armored vehicles
- 30 other vehicles
- 19 command facilities
- 2 communication centers
- 23 depots with fuel and ammunition
- 6 plants used to make IEDs, including car bombs
- several artillery pieces
- several training camps
Russia's Defense Ministry will strengthen its grouping in Tajikistan with attack and military transport helicopters, the official representative of Russia's Central Military District Yaroslav Roschupkin told journalists on Wednesday.
The unit now includes Mi-24P attack and Mi-8MTV transport and combat helicopters. The helicopters will be stationed at the 201st military base, in the former Soviet republic of Tajikistan, which borders Afghanistan. Violence on the Afghan side of the border escalated in recent weeks after Taliban militants seized the city of Kunduz, prompting a response from US and Afghan forces.
"The military capabilities of the 201st military base <...> will be enhanced by helicopter aviation. The created aerial grouping will be based in the Gissar district of Tajikistan, at the Aini air base 30 kilometers from Dushanbe," Roschupkin told journalists.
Comment: Looks like Russia is preparing to fullfill Afghanistan's request for help: Afghanistan requests military assistance from Russia for its war on terror.

Islamic State militants parade in a commandeered Iraqi security forces vehicle on a main road at the northern city of Mosul.
The Terror Financing Unit of the US Treasury Department is investigating how Islamic State militants managed to acquire so many Toyota pick-up trucks and SUVs; the vehicles constantly appear in the jihadist group's propaganda videos, media reports said.
Toyota, the world's second largest auto manufacturer, has already reportedly said that they are assisting in the inquiry, but that they do not know how their vehicles were obtained by the militants.
"We briefed Treasury on Toyota's supply chains in the Middle East and the procedures that Toyota has in place to protect supply chain integrity," Ed Lewis, Toyota's Washington-based director of public policy and communications, said.
Comment: Apparently the Terror Financing Unit of the US Treasury Department isn't aware of the CIA funding trail of ISIS. Will they be shocked if they find out?
- Russia's campaign is snuffing out the CIA's Al-Qaeda forces
- United States - supporter of 'moderate' terrorists
