Puppet Masters
Through emails today, the FBI has now admitted the following:
After three years of claiming that it could not find any records about murdered Democratic National Committee employee Seth Rich, the FBI admitted today that it has thousands of pages of information about him, further admitting that it has custody of his laptop.
So what changed between then and now? Here's an excerpt from the email that I received this morning from an attorney representing the FBI against my client, Brian Huddleston, in Huddleston v. FBI, Case No. 4:20-CV-00447 (E.D. Tex.):
When I mention that the U.S.A. feels increasingly like the U.S.S.R., a surprising number of people tell me they feel the same way. Welcome to the U.S.S.A.: United Simulacra States of America where everything is an absurdly transparent simulation with little connection to reality and dissent is crushed by an everpresent, ubiquitous narrative police state enforced by the union of Big Tech social media, search and other monopolies and the Savior State: do what we tell you and you'll get a piece of our endlessly spewed trillions.
My colleague Mark Jeftovic recommended an insightful book on the unraveling of the USSR, Everything Was Forever, Until It Was No More: The Last Soviet Generation.
It's an academic book so there are the required servings of jargon and references to suitably opaque academic tropes, but beneath the conceptual clutter lies a profound analysis of how humans adapt to and navigate a system that has lost all authenticity and survives entirely on the ceaseless marketing of artifice: in other words, the USA today.
Dozens of House Republicans have joined in an effort to urge President Trump to get Attorney General William Barr to appoint a special counsel to investigate election irregularities.
The 27 GOP congressmen made the request for the appointment of a special counsel in a letter Wednesday to Trump. Texas Rep. Lance Gooden sent the letter with just his signature to the president last week and later gathered more signatures from GOP lawmakers in support of the effort.
Gooden sent the letter after Barr said the Justice Department has yet to find voter fraud in the Nov. 3 presidential election significant enough to change the outcome of the results.
Comment: And one of the more outspoken Reps of the GOP, Jim Jordan, came out strong as well:
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) called on President Donald Trump not to concede the Nov. 3 election.
In response to a statement on Newsmax about whether he should, Jordan said, "No, of course not, and you remember this is a president [who] gets things done."
"This is a president who does what he told the American people he was going to do, accomplishes what he was elected to do and this is just one more example of him getting something done that's valuable and important to the country," Jordan said.
Going further, Jordan said that "instinctively, everyone knows there are problems with this election."
Since Nov. 3, Trump said that the election was stolen from him and has mounted a legal campaign to overturn the results in several states. Meanwhile, his lawyers have lobbied the state legislatures and governors to either not certify the results of the election or for state lawmakers to reclaim their constitutional authority to call electors.
The Epoch Times has not called the election for either Trump or Democrat Joe Biden.
Jordan, the ranking Republican member of the House Judiciary Committee, suggested that Trump performed too well in other places and among certain demographics to lose.
"We won 27 out of the 27 toss-up states. He increases his votes with Hispanic Americans, African-Americans. State legislatures that Republicans control we kept all those plus, increased those numbers," Jordan said. "You can just go down the line, he won 19 of the 20 bellwether counties. He won Ohio by eight, Iowa by eight, Florida by three, and yet somehow doesn't win. So we know we need to look at all this. There is a number of lawsuits that are pending, the one that was filed in Texas today regarding several states. Let's see how that all shakes out. Let's get to the bottom of this for the well-being of the country."
Hunter Biden says the US Attorney's Office in Delaware is conducting a probe into his taxes.
He added that he takes this matter seriously, but is sure that an "objective review" will prove he "handled [his] affairs legally and appropriately".
"I learned yesterday for the first time that the US Attorney's Office in Delaware advised my legal counsel, also yesterday, that they are investigating my tax affairs", he said in a statement released by the Biden transition team on Wednesday.
The news comes as just on Monday, Republican congressman Ken Buck called on Attorney General William Barr to conduct an investigation into Hunter Biden's business dealings, including examining the contents of his laptop.
Comment: Hopefully this won't get buried next to the Killary emails and Epstein files.

It probably won't snow at the World Economic Forum in Singapore next year, but European Central Bank president Christine Lagarde is still likely to attend.
The World Economic Forum (WEF) will hold its 2021 annual meeting in Singapore, instead of its usual venue of Davos in Switzerland. The shift is due to low Covid rates in Singapore and also marks an implicit acknowledgement of the growing importance of Asia in the global economy.
"The change in location reflects the forum's priority of safeguarding the health and safety of participants and the host community. After careful consideration, and in light of the current situation with regards to Covid-19 cases, it was decided that Singapore was best placed to hold the meeting," the WEF said in a statement on Monday December 7.
Comment: An obvious load of nonsense. First because the numbers of cases of Covid-19 in Europe are not only vastly overblown - but nowhere near as harmful as authoritarian leaders are making it out to be. No, the reason - or one of the reasons - why the technocrats are going to Singapore is to make their mark on Asia, and get that sprawling continent of people further aligned with Great Reset agendas.
"A global leadership summit is of crucial importance to address how we can recover together," said Klaus Schwab, founder and chairman of the WEF.
"The special annual meeting 2021 will be a place for leaders from business, government and civil society to meet in person for the first time since the start of the global pandemic. Public-private cooperation is needed more than ever to rebuild trust and address the fault lines that emerged in 2020."
The FTC lawsuit was announced on Wednesday, as New York AG Letitia James made public that 47 of her colleagues from 45 states - as well as the District of Columbia and Guam - were launching a separate antitrust challenge before a DC federal court.
Any efforts to "stifle competition, hurt small business, reduce innovation and creativity, cut privacy protections, will be met with the full force of our offices," James told reporters.
The lawsuit managed to unite Democrats and Republicans who are currently at odds over the US presidential election. Only four states - Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and South Dakota - have not signed on to the effort led by James, a Democrat.
Our main goal going into the election season was to make sure we're connecting people with authoritative information, while also limiting the reach of misinformation and removing harmful content. The work here is ongoing and we wanted to provide an update.
Removing content that violates our policies
Our Community Guidelines prohibit spam, scams, or other manipulated media, coordinated influence operations, and any content that seeks to incite violence. Since September, we've terminated over 8000 channels and thousands of harmful and misleading elections-related videos for violating our existing policies. Over 77% of those removed videos were taken down before they had 100 views.
Comment: As you might imagine, this set of new edicts from YouTube did not go down well:
Given YouTube's latest announcement, conservatives argued that forbidding an entire topic of discussion constitutes editorializing.
Aside from election-related censorship, YouTube has also cracked down on "misleading" information about Covid-19, and a wide range of "conspiracy theories."
Ware County, Georgia, conducted a hand count of ballots after they were run through the tabulating machines containing Dominion software. What they discovered was an actual difference between the ballots and the results from the tabulation machine. 37 votes moved from Trump to Biden creating a 0.26% shift in the total vote.
Garland Favorito explains how the errors are not attributable to any other process other than an algorithm built into the counting software tabulating the ballots. When Favorito was scheduled to testify before the state legislature, the republican leader of the committee blocked his testimony. Listen to this interview starting at 04:00 WATCH:

Comment: Georgia politicians are acknowledging flaws in their election process and offer intent on addressing many issues. Their statement is worth the look. Hopefully more states take a similar lead.
The hack of FireEye, a company with an array of contracts across the national security space both in the United States and its allies, is among the most significant breaches in recent memory. The company's shares dropped 8% in after-hours trading.
The FireEye breach was disclosed in a public filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission citing CEO Kevin Mandia. A blog post by the company here said "red team tools" were stolen as part of a highly sophisticated, likely government-backed hacking operation that used previously unseen techniques.
It is not clear exactly when the hack initially took place, but a person familiar with the events said the company has been resetting user passwords over the past two weeks.
Beyond the tool theft, the hackers also appeared to be interested in a subset of FireEye customers: government agencies.
The chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Rep. Adam Schiff, said he would ask for more information.
"We have asked the relevant intelligence agencies to brief the Committee in the coming days about this attack, any vulnerabilities that may arise from it, and actions to mitigate the impacts."There is no evidence that FireEye's hacking tools have been used or that client data was stolen. But the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Microsoft Corp are helping to look.
