Cardinal George Pell freed from prison after High Court overturns sex abuse conviction

cardinal george pell
Cardinal George Pell has been freed from prison after Australia's High Court unanimously overturned his conviction on five counts of historical child sex abuse.

The momentous decision, handed down Tuesday by Chief Justice Susan Kiefel, ends a five-year legal battle that started when a man in his 30s approached police alleging Pell had abused him as a child in the mid-1990s.

At the time, Pell was Vatican Treasurer and the highest ranking Catholic official to ever be publicly accused of child sex offenses. Pell strenuously denied the charges, which he dismissed in a 2016 police interview as a "product of fantasy."

Bill Gates is funding new factories for 7 potential coronavirus vaccines, even though it will waste billions of dollars

bill gates
Bill Gates is plugging money into building factories for seven promising coronavirus vaccine candidates, even though it will mean wasting billions of dollars.

On Thursday's episode of "The Daily Show," the Microsoft billionaire told the host Trevor Noah that his philanthropic organization, the Gates Foundation, could mobilize faster than governments to fight the coronavirus outbreak.

Comment: Philanthropic organization should be in scare quotes.

"Because our foundation has such deep expertise in infectious diseases, we've thought about the epidemic, we did fund some things to be more prepared, like a vaccine effort," Gates said. "Our early money can accelerate things."

Comment: With such a massive investment, is it any wonder Gates is setting up a sham study to make hydrochloroquine look ineffective? It would hardly be worth it for him to spend billions on vaccines, only to find a $20 treatment is more effective. The WHO's Tedros Adhanom should be put on trial for crimes against humanity

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus WHO
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, as well as being the first WHO director without a medical degree, also has a somewhat political background compared to his predecessors. On his online biography, the WHO lays out his qualifications as Ethiopian Minister of Health from 2002 to 2012, impressive stuff.

Aside from his medical credentials, Tedros happens to be a member of the Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF) which is an organisation about as peaceful as its name suggests. Founded as a communist revolutionary party that came to power in 1991, it led a guerrilla campaign against the Mengistu dictatorship and formed a coalition with two other ethnic parties after his exile.

Over time, the TPLF began to exert more and more influence over the other two parties. Most military generals and key leaders within the government are Tigray, including the Prime Minister who ruled the country for 21 years before his death. The Tigray represent only 6% of the population of Ethiopia, one of the major ethnic groups are the Amhara who mostly made up the Mengistu regime.

Bill Gates refuses to recommend nutrition (zinc, vitamin D, vitamin C) and instead focuses entirely on vaccines and police state tracking

Bill Gates and vaccines

When you or your kids are getting vaccinated, you must be pretty sure who injects what in your bloodstream and for what reason.
Microsoft co-founder and outspoken eugenicist Bill Gates has a plan to tackle the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. But it doesn't involve actually supporting the human immune system through proper nutrition.

Instead, Gates wants to jab everyone with a future vaccine, as well as indefinitely force people to social distance from one another and remain in isolation for their own alleged protection.

During a recent interview with "CBS This Morning" co-host Anthony Mason, Gates divulged how he believes that the federal government needs to "set the priorities" on testing so that "we can all go back to some level of normalcy."

According to Gates, the executive branch along with so-called "experts" in public health need to be putting extreme pressure on the governors of all 50 states to implement medical martial law, in violation of the Constitution, because this is the only way to tackle the crisis.

Failing at any point to mention the benefits of things like zinc, vitamin D and vitamin C for natural immune support, as well as any of the treatment methods successfully employed in South Korea, Gates instead spoke of harsh government restrictions, chemical vaccines and even novel Mark of the Beast microchips as the "solutions" to the pandemic situation.

Turkish artillery increasingly violates the ceasefire in the provinces of Idlib and Aleppo, established on March 6 according to the agreements of Russia and Turkey. Since early April, the Turkish military has several times fired at positions of government troops on the territory of the base of the 46th regiment of the Syrian Armed Forces west of Aleppo. This strategic facility is adjacent to the stronghold of the militants - the city of Atareb. Therefore, Ankara and the militants of the "National Liberation Front" NFO), which it supports, conduct almost daily shelling in this direction, the Military Observer portal reports today, April 6.

On the eve of a group of militants tried to penetrate the territory of the base and was fired upon by the Syrian military from heavy machine guns and automatic weapons. In response, the Turkish multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) opened fire on them. Several rockets exploded at the base. According to the Syrian command, there were no losses. The Islamists themselves report that the shelling was from the firing position of the Turkish military.

Comment: Sputnik reports that the Turkish Defense Military has ordered a minimization of movement of its military in Syria due COVID-19 fears.

Kissinger says 'even US' can't defeat Covid-19 alone. His solution? Global NWO government, of course

Henry Kissinger, eminence grise of imperial US foreign policy, has warned in an op-ed that no government - even his beloved hegemon - can defeat Covid-19 alone, implying that the New World Order he's always preached must follow.

If the US doesn't couple its efforts to rebuild its own economy with the first steps toward creating a global government, humanity is doomed, Kissinger wrote in a recent Wall Street Journal op-ed.

"No country, not even the US, can in a purely national effort overcome the virus," Kissinger warned. "Addressing the necessities of the moment must ultimately be coupled with a global collaborative vision and program."
If we cannot do both in tandem, we will face the worst of each.

MH17 trial - False fronts and real conflicts of interest

The Dutch lawyers leading the defence against the charge of premeditated murder in the destruction of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 on July 17, 2014, have no experience of litigation in cases involving aircraft crashes, war crimes, military crimes, or homicide - except for cases when they have defended Dutch police accused of shooting people on the streets of Rotterdam.

The first of the defence lawyers, Sabine ten Doesschate, has never conducted a defence in a murder trial; in her short career so far, she has specialized in white collar fraud. Her leader, Boudewijn van Eijck, has a career record of defending Rotterdam police in collaboration with Rotterdam police commanders and prosecutors; at the time they included Fred Westerbeke, lead prosecutor of the MH17 investigation, and Dedy Woei-A-Tsoi, one of the three prosecutors now in court.

Asked if his relationships with them create a conflict for him to defend in this trial, van Eijck refuses to answer. "Our focus is the MH17 case," he said through a spokesman on Friday, "not the professional careers of the lawyers."

The Trump Administration has designated a white supremacist group a terror organization, marking the first time the U.S. has ever made such a move, according to the Associated Press.

The Russian Imperial Movement was classified a "Specially Designated Global Terrorist" group Monday, and is the first white supremacist group to receive the designation, which will make it illegal for Americans to engage with the organization and freezes any assets it may have in U.S. jurisdictions, the Associated Press reported.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and his counterterrorism coordinator Nathan Sales announced the step.

Wisconsin joins litany of states to suspend in-person voting for upcoming primary elections - UPDATE: State Supreme Court BLOCKS governor's order

Tony Evers
Democratic Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers issued an executive order halting in-person voting set to take place Tuesday due to the coronavirus pandemic, The Hill reported Monday.

Evers suspended the statewide and local elections until June 9, heeding the calls from several Wisconsin mayors to postpone the primary election amid coronavirus concerns. The move also directs the Wisconsin state legislature to convene a special session Tuesday to address the new election date, The Hill reported.

Comment: Wisconsin's Supreme Court blocked the governor's unlawful attempt to block the election primary, as they voted 4-2 that the Evers had the authority to move the election on his own.

With economic crisis looming EU overlords legalize food made from worms & baby crickets to satiate the masses

Brussels plans to drop rules preventing some countries from serving up insects and worms for human consumption. I know that getting a food delivery is tough at the moment, but are we really desperate to swap crisps for crickets?

Probably best not to read this while you're eating but, with the news being wall-to-wall Covid-19 at the moment, a little story may have passed you by. While most of the world is consumed by the fight against the pandemic, the European Union is quietly set to authorise the sale of insects for human consumption. At some point over the next few weeks, its Food Safety Authority is expected to allow mealworms, locusts, and adult crickets onto our plates.

The timing of this may seem a little odd, given that unusual eating practices involving animals in Wuhan are the most likely origin of the virus wreaking havoc on the globe, but apparently these bugs are perfectly safe. Companies won't just be doling out bags of freshly fried crickets, either: burgers, granola and even pasta have all been made out of such creepy crawlies. This is presumably because they think it will be easier for us to wolf down worms provided that they look more like normal food. And not wriggly things that just came out of the earth.
