Puppet Masters
Is this to be Iraq War 4.0? 3.7? 5.0? Anybody's guess.
If Biden uses this sudden - and convenient - unrest in Iraq as a trigger to return US troops (and bombs), it should not surprise anyone. As Professor Barbara Ransby points out in this video, Biden did much more to make the disastrous 2003 attack on Iraq happen than just vote "yes" on the authorization to use force. As Professor Ransby reminds us, Biden used the full power of his position as chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to ensure the Senate approved George W. Bush's lie-based war on Iraq. Biden prevented any experts who challenged the "Saddam has WMDs and he's about to use them" narrative from being heard by Members of Congress, guaranteeing that only the pro-war narrative was heard.

In 1938 the great Irishman William Butler Yeats wrote a poem called 'Politics'. It could perhaps, more accurately have been entitled 'Anti-Politics'. War is looming, everything is political, "And there's a politician That has both read and thought" in the room but Yeats reminds us there is something much more important. In reference to "that girl standing there," he writes "But O that I were young again, And held her in my arms."
In the choice between the personal and the political, between listening to the politician, or romancing (even if only in his imagination), the poet chooses the personal. He is right to do so. Totalitarian societies come about when people do the opposite. When they put politics before the personal. When they betray old friendships for 'the cause', or put 'following the party line' before family and loved ones.
Comment: From the standpoint of Western nations, we are politically blind when it comes to comprehending the fallacy of 'democracy' and how deep into the 'chosen' narrative our beliefs lie. Given the mass indoctrination is now out in the open and spreading exponentially across the surface to interface with the public, reveals how close the PTB deem they are to the endgame they envision.
This is the party name that is being bandied about in the now highly triggered left-wing press, accompanied by numerous vile tweets that Twitter apparently has no interest taking down. But it could easily be the case that the name for a potential new third party could be something else like "The Patriot Party."
The report comes from WaPo's hard left writers Josh Dawsey and Michael Scherer:
Former president Donald Trump threw himself back into politics this weekend by publicly endorsing a devoted and divisive acolyte in Arizona who has embraced his false election conspiracy theories and entertained the creation of a new "MAGA Party." [...]
In recent weeks, Trump has entertained the idea of creating a third party, called the Patriot Party, and instructed his aides to prepare election challenges to lawmakers who crossed him in the final weeks in office, including Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R), Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) and Rep. Tom Rice (R-S.C.), according to people familiar with the plans.
Comment: A lot can happen in four years if the Dems continue their hellbent march to self-destruction.
The new administration will apparently re-evaluate the executive action from President Donald Trump toward the end of March. It remains unclear if it will be reinstated. Bloomberg Law reported Thursday:
"The HHS Thursday froze the former Trump administration's December drug policy that requires community health centers to pass on all their insulin and epinephrine discount savings to patients. Centers that don't pass on the savings wouldn't qualify for federal grants.
"This freeze is part of the Biden administration's large-scale effort announced this week that will scrutinize the Trump administration's health policies. If the previous administration's policies raise 'fact, law, or policy' concerns, the Biden HHS will delay them and consult with the Office of Management and Budget about other actions."
Comment: We can pretty much guess how that will turn out.
Comment: Drug company paybacks? Ploy for universal healthcare? Nothing speaks loyalty like money. Short-sightedness for temporary gain is a disease no 'shot in the arm' can prevent. Sticking it to Trump is more important than saving lives and advocating for the people.

The American flag blows in the wind outside the Supreme Court on Sept. 18, 2020.
While many have warned about the rise of fascism or socialism in "the land of the free," the ideas have largely been vague or fragmented, focusing on individual events or actors. Recent events, however, indicate that seemingly unconnected pieces of the oppression puzzle are fitting together to form a comprehensive system, according to Michael Rectenwald, a retired liberal arts professor at New York University.
But many Americans, it appears, have been caught off guard or aren't even aware of the newly forming regime, as the idea of elected officials, government bureaucrats, large corporations, the establishment academia, think tanks and nonprofits, the legacy media, and even seemingly grassroot movements all working in concert toward some evil purpose seems preposterous. Is a large portion of the country in on a conspiracy?
The reality now emerges that no massive conspiracy was in fact needed — merely an ideological alignment and some informal coordination, Rectenwald argues.
Despite the lack of formal overarching organization, the American socialist regime is indeed totalitarian, as the root of its ideology requires politically motivated coercion, he told The Epoch Times. The power of the regime is not yet absolute but it's becoming increasingly effective as it erodes the values, checks, and balances against tyranny established by traditional beliefs and enshrined in the American founding.

Benjamin Netanyahu will send Mossad chief Yossi Cohen to Washington to outline Israel's demands from Iran in any re-signing of a nuclear deal, Channel 12 news reports on Saturday.
The network said that Cohen is expected to travel to the US in February at the request of the Israeli prime minister, where he will be the first Jerusalem official to meet with new US President Joe Biden. He is also reportedly expected to meet with the CIA director.
Comment: "Mossad chief dictates terms to Biden for rejoining JCPOA" is how the headline should really read. Tells you everything you need to know about who is really in charge of US foreign policy.

New York Times reporter Michael Scheer asked Fauci to share his emotional thoughts about the change of administrations and speaking about the virus going forward.
"The idea that you can get up here and talk about what you know, what evidence, what the science is and know that that's it, let the science speak, it is somewhat of a liberating feeling," he said.
Comment: Translation: "Now I can more or less lie with impunity, and not be challenged by others for my wholesale propaganda."
Comment: Translation: "Now I can continue to poo poo any and all of the research and evidence regarding the proven beneficial effects of Hydroxychloroquine and other things like that - that individuals can take in lieu of fast-tracked and very likely dangerous vaccines we'd like everyone and their mother to take yesterday."
Malevolent technocrat Fauci used CNN as a venue to continue trashing the Trump administration and anyone not buying into his Big Lies:
Dr. Anthony Fauci continues to ramp up his criticism of the Trump administration, telling CNN - a network whose reporting he directly contradicted only a day before - saying a "lack of candor" likely led to unnecessary deaths.
After a Thursday press briefing where he mostly fielded questions about the benefits of working with the Biden administration over Trump's, Fauci joined CNN on Friday morning and took similar questions.
Asked if a "lack of candor or facts" from former President Trump led to contributed to the death toll from Covid-19, Fauci laid into the previous administration.
"You know, it very likely did," he said, adding that he didn't want his words to become a "soundbite," but continuing anyway.
"I think if you just look at that, you can see that when you're starting to go down paths that are not based on any science at all, that is not helpful at all, and particularly when you're in a situation of almost being in a crisis with the number of cases and hospitalizations and deaths that we have," he said.
Fauci has praised the Biden administration and claimed they will "let the science speak" and restore trust in public health officials.
"We've had a lot of divisiveness, we've had facts that were very, very clear that were questioned. People were not trusting what health officials were saying, there was great divisiveness, masks became a political issue," Fauci, who was criticized multiple times publicly by Trump, said.
Fauci's sudden turn on the Trump administration - which he had previously praised while working with - has led to a wave of criticism, with many using Fauci's own words, including a recommendation early in the pandemic not to wear masks, to contradict the tone he is taking now.
The acting chief of the U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM) also fired the directors of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, Radio Free Asia and the Middle East Broadcasting Networks just a month after they were named to the positions, two officials told The Associated Press.
"The changes came a day after the director of the Voice of America and his deputy were removed and the chief of the Office of Cuba Broadcasting stepped down. The firings follow the forced resignation of former President Donald Trump's hand-picked choice to lead USAGM only two hours after Joe Biden took office on Wednesday," wrote the AP.
Comment: USAGM has always been one of the prime propaganda tools for the US to persuade its audience to adopt a US-centric point of view. Of course it will reflect an administration's stance. To do such a wholesale clear-out of personnel over the claim that "prized editorial independence" was being threatened is ludicrous.

Glassy-eyed Jen Psaki is once again taking the White House press briefings. Victoria "Fuck the EU" Nuland is going to be secretary of state, and Samantha Power is hoisted back onto a platform from which she can berate the rest of the world for not following America's "moral example" by bombing Syria back to the stone age.
It was the machinations of these people - along with Biden as VP, John Kerry as Secretary of State and of course Barack Obama leading the charge - that lead to the coup in Ukraine, the war in Donbass and - indirectly - the creation of this website. For it was our comments on the Guardian telling this truth that got everyone here banned, multiple times.
So, for us, pointing out cold-war style propaganda is like slipping back into a comfy pair of shoes.
