FBI handler says supposedly reliable Steele acted 'crazy' due to Clinton partisanship

FBI agent Michael Gaeta speaks at a conference in 2016
"Crazy" was the term the FBI agent used to describe the behavior of Christopher Steele, author of the now-debunked Trump-Russia dossier. "I've seen crazy source-related stuff in 20 years in New York and this was one of the craziest," the veteran agent testified to the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.

Nevertheless, the FBI continued to rely on Steele's allegations - that Donald Trump and his team were conspiring with Russians who possessed compromising information - to justify its surveillance of the Trump campaign. Without evidence to verify Steele's claims, the FBI fell back on its assertion that the former British intelligence agent was reliable.

The previously unreported testimony of FBI agent Michael Gaeta is found on page 900 of the fifth and final volume of the Senate committee's probe of Russian interference in the 2016 election. It raises new questions about the basis of the FBI's investigation of the Trump campaign, Crossfire Hurricane, and the declarations it made to the FISA court in four separate applications submitted to spy on American citizens.

Germans now claim God poisoned Navalny - that's the god out of the machine

navalny
When it comes to fabrications in warfare, it was the ancient Greeks who invented the Trojan Horse. They also invented ἀπὸ μηχανῆς θεός - he has come down to us from the Latin, deus ex machina, meaning the god out of the machine. He's the culprit or the cause which resolves the inexplicable ending of a story by a device which drops out of the heavens, or rises through a trapdoor on stage.

Aristotle didn't think much of it because it's too plainly unbelievable. The deus ex machina, he thought, was the invention of the incompetent for an audience of simpletons.

Germany's Foreign Minister Heiko Maas doesn't know his ancient Greek. He also doesn't know his fellow Germans. They have removed him from the running to lead the Social Democratic Party (SPD) in next year's German national election. On his road to political oblivion, Maas has needed a public platform on which to regain his footing, he thinks. According to very well-informed Berlin sources, Maas is the official responsible, behind fifteen journalists of Der Spiegel, for fabricating the evidence of the case of Alexei Navalny (lead image, left), after he landed in Berlin.

After their first account of the Novichok poisoning of Navalny failed the standard biochemical and forensic tests, they have invented a new one. This is "harder", they have reported, claiming for source a secret briefing in a Berlin bunker by the BND, Germany's secret intelligence service.

But according to leading British organophosphate chemists, the new "Novichok" is not more credible than the first. This is also the reason no details of the substance have been handed over to the Russian Prosecutor-General, presented to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), or published in the German press. Maas's deus ex machina isn't visible, as even the ancient Greek audience demanded. It's offstage, in the dark.

Aussie minister warns foreign journos against 'slanted view' in spy row with Beijing, as cops crush lockdown dissent at home

Australia's Home Affairs Minister, Peter Dutton, warned foreign journalists that they may be investigated if they give a "slanted view" of the country. Meanwhile, cops in Victoria have crushed lockdown protests with an iron fist.

Dutton's comments came several days after the arrest of Cheng Lei, an Australian journalist with China's CGTN broadcaster, and after the evacuation of two Australian journalists from China last week.

Comment: In other words, after a spat with China, the Australian government is going to behave more like China? Aussie 'freedom and democracy' logic for ya!

"If people are here as journalists and they're reporting fairly on the news, then that's fine," Dutton told ABC TV on Sunday, adding that these journalists shouldn't give "a slanted view to a particular community." Dutton added that the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation - comparable to the British MI5 or American FBI - questioned some journalists this summer, but would not confirm if they were Chinese nationals, as had been reported.

Dutton's comments came amid a diplomatic spat with China over the evacuation of the Australian journalists. Beijing has accused the Australian government of "interference in a Chinese legal case" by pulling them out of China. The minister didn't directly address Chinese journalists in Australia, but indirectly cautioned any foreign reporters who may be "interfering or conducting espionage-type activities."

Silent bombshell: Trump reveals true motivation for US presence in Middle East - Israel, not oil

trump
© NBC NEWS
TRUMP SPEAKS IN WINSTON-SALEM, NC, SEPT. 8, 2020.
Four days ago, Donald Trump said the U.S. isn't involved in the Middle East for oil, but because we "want to protect Israel." The comments have gone all but unreported in the mainstream press.

Trump made the comment during a rally in Winston-Salem, N.C. on Sept. 8, when he was bragging about America's energy independence, which he said Joe Biden would undermine if he gets the White House (minute 47):
I like being energy independent, don't you? I'm sure that most of you noticed when you go to fill up your tank in your car, oftentimes it's below two dollars. You say how the hell did this happen? Thank you President Trump! Look at your electric bills and everything else- these guys, your electric would go up four, five, six times. The Green New Deal it's called the Green New Nightmare. While I'm president, America will remain the number one producer of oil and natural gas in the world. We will remain energy independent. It should be for many many years to come. The fact is, we don't have to be in the Middle East, other than we want to protect Israel. We've been very good to Israel. Other than that, we don't have to be in the Middle East. You know there was a time we needed desperately oil, we don't need that anymore. We have more than they do, isn't that nice? After years of rebuilding other countries, we are finally building our country.
The American Conservative's Barbara Boland is the only reporter who seems to have picked up Trump's remarks. No one else cares, evidently.

Do you remember all the arguments about Why we are engaged in so many conflicts in the Middle East? And why we are going to war in Iraq? And the mainstream default position is that it's because of oil. Even though we lost concessions in Iraq.

Comment: And Trump wants to get out of the Middle East... And Trump is one of Israel's most vocal supporters... Contradictory? Well, yeah. That's why only Trump could get away with this kind of truth-telling.

As scandal-hit charity linked to Justin Trudeau shuts up shop in Canada, the silence of the woke brigade is deafening

Canadian PM Justin Trudeau should be facing more ethics questions after the WE charity, which paid his family so well, ceased trading amid a financial scandal. But his status as a liberal icon will ensure no lasting damage.

The world of woke is in turmoil following the closure of Canadian operations and the shuttering of its London office by the painfully right-on WE charity.

Its former high-profile pals are scurrying to distance themselves from the accusations of financial mismanagement that threaten the career of Canadian PM and woke icon Justin Trudeau, whose squeaky-clean liberal credentials have been dragged through the mud by his association with the Kielburger brothers and the charity they started as kids in the kitchen of their family home.

Democratic opponent of Marjorie Taylor Greene, the QAnon-supporting GOP candidate, drops out of congressional race

Marjorie Taylor Greene
The Democratic opponent of Republican Georgia congressional candidate Marjorie Taylor Greene announced that he is exiting the race Friday.

"I am heartbroken to announce that for family and personal reasons, I cannot continue this race for Congress," Kevin Van Ausdal said in a statement. "After lengthy discussions with my team, attorneys, party officials, and others, the answer was clear, stepping aside would be best for the voters."

Comment: More from RT:
...

While Van Ausdal's campaign offered few details about his reasons for stepping down, several supporters have suggested he pulled out of the race due to harassment and "serious death threats" from other members of the QAnon community. A campaign spokesperson quashed the rumors, saying neither Van Ausdal nor his staffers had received any threats. Some remained unconvinced, however, pointing to a statement from the campaign noting that the candidate "is safe."

Running in a reliably Republican district in the Deep South, Van Ausdal's campaign was something of a long shot, but his resignation nonetheless surprised fellow Democrats, with Cathy Griffith, the chair of the Catoosa County party, stating she "didn't know about it until this morning."

Though the Democratic Party of Georgia said it intends to "name a replacement as soon as possible," state law may preclude that possibility, as it sets a 60-day deadline for replacement candidates in the case of a withdrawal. As of Friday, there were just 53 days left until the election, leaving it unclear how the party will proceed.

Van Ausdal's sudden pull-out came just hours before Georgia Republican Tom Graves announced that he would not finish out his term, saying he would retire early next month. Graves, who currently holds the same seat in Georgia's 14th District sought by Greene, previously said he would not run for re-election. With Van Ausdal's withdrawal and a chance that no Democrat will replace him, Greene is all but assured of victory come November.

The global police state is swiftly rising

covid arrest
There is always an excuse for the enforcement of totalitarian restrictions on the public. There is always a reason. And, often these reasons are engineered to sound logical and practical at the time.

In Germany after WWI and into the early 1930s Bolshevik activists and the German Communist Party (KPD) engaged in aggressive economic sabotage, street violence and even assassinations. This along with the Great Depression led to German middle class support for the National Socialist Party and the Third Reich (fascism). Much of history's focus is on the horrors of the Nazis, but many people are unaware of the extreme threat of communist revolution in Europe during this era, a threat which was used by the Nazis as a perfect rationale for constructing a police state. Arguably, without the existence of hardline communism, the fascists never would have had the public support needed to rise to power.

In Russia after the Bolshevik Revolution, the Cheka secret police were established in the name of preventing "counter-revolution". This is an interesting aspect common to communism in particular; they desperately cling to the narrative that THEY are the "revolutionaries", even when they have all the power. Thus, the revolution never ends because there are always people who disagree with communism. Anyone who refuses to comply with Marxist mandates becomes an imperialist enemy and bogeyman, and is held up as an example of why the revolution must perpetually continue. The police state must exist forever to root out the evil classists lurking in the shadows.

How can the Deep State's Antifa organization be stopped?

Antifa
Antifa has become a pseudo-fascist tool in the Color Revolution underway, as part of a coup against the executive branch's administration, and the massive geopolitical and economic shift that administration represents. The methods of the 2016 election would see Trump win by an even wider Electoral College margin in 2020. For these reasons, it was necessary for the deep state to introduce a whole array of 'extraordinary circumstances and new rules': staged riots and ballot harvesting in order to change the election outcome.

The threat of Antifa will always exist so long as the U.S. continues to produce a new-left radicalized permanent under-class, as seen now.

The three ways to stop Antifa are to A.) Remove its funding sources and de facto leaders; B.) Create a production-driven economy; C.) Defund humanities departments promoting critical race and gender theories; and D.) Rehabilitate its hardened members.

Israel imposes second nationwide coronavirus lockdown

Israel is poised to enter another nationwide lockdown that would shutter schools, restaurants, markets, and more for two weeks, making it the first developed nation to shut down for a second time.

Cabinet ministers approved the second lockdown late Thursday, and it will be up for final approval Sunday with a full Cabinet vote. It would last for two full weeks, followed by two more weeks of stringent economic and social restrictions starting Sept. 18, Bloomberg reported Friday.

Israel successfully got the coronavirus under control in the spring and lifted the national lockdown in May.
