Three pro-Russian TV channels have gone off the air in Kyiv after pro-Western President Volodymyr Zelenskiy signed a Ukrainian security council decree imposing sanctions for five years on eight media and TV companies.
The Kyiv stations affected were ZIK, NewsOne, and 112 Ukraine.
Their broadcasts were only available Tuesday night via the video hosting platform YouTube, reported the Russian news agency TASS.

Janet Yellen is shown speaking to reporters on December 1 in Delaware, after being chosen by President-elect Joe Biden as Treasury secretary nominee.
In the meeting scheduled for as early as Thursday, the former chair of the Federal Reserve hopes to collaborate with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Federal Reserve, the New York Federal Reserve, and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission to assess potential actions to combat the stock frenzy that occurred over the last week as well as potential surges in precious metal prices.
"Secretary Yellen believes the integrity of markets is important and has asked for a discussion of recent volatility in financial markets and whether recent activities are consistent with investor protection and fair and efficient markets," the department said in a statement.

"It's high time that we step up to the plate to ensure the protection of the people and their rights," the governor said.
"The governor announced a new legislative effort to crack down on Big Tech, intending to limit social media companies' ability to sell user information to advertisers for a profit and taking action to protect social media users amid accusations that Facebook and Twitter engage in censorship of certain viewpoints or information," the Blaze reported.
Comment: In the last decade, social media and Big tech companies have become a very powerful tool in the hands of the psychopathic elites. They use them to collect personal information, track people's movement and activity, promote lies upon people so they can accept them as a new and "progressive" normal, censorship and propaganda.
They became so powerful that they openly censored and blocked former US President Donald Trump on Social media, and they remained untouchable for justice.

On Wednesday, Arkansas GOP Senator Tom Cotton penned an op-ed for Fox News stating that the National Guard troops still in Washington should leave the Capitol grounds as soon as possible, despite Defense Department and local law enforcement plans.
"I'm aware of no specific, credible threat reporting... that justifies this continued troop presence," wrote Cotton, a former soldier who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. "Thus, I believe the rest of these soldiers should also go home to their families and civilian jobs."
Cotton went on to say, "The lesson of the Capitol riot is not that we should quarter a standing army at the Capitol just in case, but rather that our security measures should be calibrated to the actual threats."
Cotton's op/ed came on the same day that 11 GOP House members requested a briefing from acting Army Secretary John Whitley on any ongoing threats to the Capitol as well as an explanation for why the National Guard troops were still in Washington, according to Defense News.

During a livestream on Instagram on Monday night, the progressive lawmaker pushed back against Republican colleagues and critics who have demanded an apology after she accused Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) of putting her life in danger by allegedly helping to incite the unrest in the capital on January 6.

13 GOP House members demand AOC apologize to Ted Cruz for accusing him of 'attempted murder'See also:

Republican members of Congress have sent a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California), demanding Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-New York) apologize to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) for claiming he tried to have her killed.
"It has come to our attention that Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez sent out a tweet in which she accused Senator Cruz, in essence, of attempted murder," the letter, which was obtained and revealed by Washington Examiner on Monday, reads.
The lawmakers are referring to a recent tweet from Ocasio-Cortez in which she said Cruz was among the Republicans who "almost had me murdered," referencing the US Capitol riot on January 6, which she has said she holds Republicans who had pushed voter fraud conspiracy theories partially responsible for.
Ironically, the tweet was in response to Cruz saying he agreed with Ocasio-Cortez about her support of the individual buyers motivated by the r/WallStreetBets subreddit to buy into flailing companies like GameStop, which heavily influenced the market and hurt hedge funds betting against the company.
The 13 Republicans who signed the letter called Ocasio-Cortez's tweet "completely unacceptable behavior from a member of Congress" and they call on Pelosi to demand the young Democrat apologize for and retract her statement.
"It is our sincere hope that we all stop this heightened rhetoric and move forward to actually do the work the American people sent us here to do," they added.
The letter follows a separate one sent to Pelosi from Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) who also demanded an apology from the New York congresswoman or else he would take "alternate means" to condemn her words.

Reps. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., Ted Deutch, D-Fla., and Jahana Hayes, D-Conn., filed the resolution, which would remove Greene from the House Budget Committee and the House Education & Labor Committee, according to NBC News.
Greene recently came under fire over social media remarks she made in the past few years, including claims the mass shootings at schools in Newtown, Connecticut, and Parkland, Florida, were "false flag" operations, and the 2018 California wildfires were caused by "Jewish space lasers."

Marjorie Greene Taylor hits back after Mitch McConnell dubs her 'GOP cancer,' says 'weak Republicans' will doom party & countrySee also:

Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has responded to a scathing attack by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell - who dubbed her a "cancer" for the GOP - insisting that "weak" Republicans would be the country's downfall.
"The real cancer for the Republican Party is weak Republicans who only know how to lose gracefully," the freshman GOP congresswoman wrote in a tweet on Monday night.
The rebuttal came after McConnell, the top Republican in the Senate, took aim at Taylor Greene in a blistering statement earlier on Monday, accusing her of embracing "loony lies and conspiracy theories" while calling her a "cancer for the Republican Party."
McConnel's own statement was issued as House Democrats attempt to drive Taylor Greene from any position of influence in Congress, and even from the GOP itself. Three lawmakers have already submitted a resolution to have her booted from the congressional Education and Labor Committee, arguing that her presence there would cause "future harm," while others have reportedly pressured Republican leaders to censure Taylor Greene or expel her from the party.
The Georgia rep also responded to the Democratic effort, saying she's only viewed as the "greatest threat" to her critics across the aisle because "I represent your America First views."
"They think Trump is gone, so they attack you and me. He's not gone. And we won't back down and we will never give up! We REFUSE to be canceled!" she wrote.

But plenty of other Americans weren't paying attention to Mr. Biden's speech. They were too busy watching YouTube videos alleging that the inauguration was a prerecorded hoax that had been filmed on a Hollywood soundstage.
Or they were melting down in QAnon group chats, trying to figure out why former President Donald J. Trump wasn't interrupting Mr. Biden's speech to declare martial law and announce the mass arrest of satanic pedophiles.
Comment:
Future historians, doubtless writing in Chinese, will marvel at how the radical Left in the U.S. essentially weaponized the Bill of Rights, claiming its protection as they worked to undermine the entire system. They will doubtless express astonishment and satisfaction at the speed and ease with which they came to dominate first academe, then the media, and finally one of the two major political parties in the U.S. - the Democrats.
There will likely even be wry grins of amusement at the assignment of colors by the networks to the two parties around 2000. Here the Democrats, increasingly red politically with little or no center, came to be called "blue" while the Republicans, mostly "true blue Americans" as the term was once used, by default became "red" with its undercurrent of the enemy. Just a bit of gallows humor at a wake.
The stock market has just been punctured by the thin blades of truth. It is fatally wounded but nobody dares notice. The wounds are barely visible, but the internal damage is mortal. The stock market is already stumbling and will soon crash.
The banquet's participants ignore the faltering market because the rules are we never reveal the truth, or acknowledge it, or discuss it, no matter how obvious, because truth is fatal to fraud. So the stock market's vital signs are in freefall but the conversation remains upbeat and light: stimulus, rapid growth in the second half, etc., all the patter of a carefully constructed illusion that fraud is forever as long as the truth never comes out.
Alas, the truth has emerged from the shadows, despite the silence of the insiders and the financial media. Here are the truths that have emerged like karmic genies:
1. The stock market is nothing but one giant fraud. The entire market is corrupt and rigged from the ground up. The fraud is systemic, designed into every tendril of the market. It was a useful deception to blame it all on "bad players," but now the truth has been revealed: the market is nothing but a rigged game enriching insiders.
Comment: The people of the US are not alone in suffering the incredibly pervasive sickness of Greed:

- France's richest people get richer faster than everyone else
- Oxfam report: Richest 1% now own more than TWICE as much wealth as 6.9 billion people

The benchmark of what constitutes a "conspiracy theory" has moved so dramatically over the past four years that claims that Joe Biden's inauguration was pre-recorded and that he occupies a film studio rather than the real White House don't grate the way perhaps they would have even a year ago. The mind boggles — but afterall, this is the age of the scamdemic, where large swathes of the western world have been shut down because of a virus with the severity of a common cold that has yet to be isolated (and therefore proven to exist), and which in any case can be effectively targeted by a simple and safe prophylactic such as hydroxychloroquine, which has been maligned in favor of a mass vaccination program with an experimental gene-altering compound that is not technically a vaccine. But let us not argue over semantics in times like these.
Comment: The author offers quite a good summation and analysis of current events and patterns in the US, emphasizing we clear our thinking to see and evaluate the grand political schemes currently in motion.
