Get woke or get bombed: Biden to call for protecting LGBTQ rights globally in memo

U.S. President Joe Biden will announce a presidential memorandum on Thursday protecting the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people worldwide, national security adviser Jake Sullivan said.

"It reflects his deep commitment to these issues both here in the United States and everywhere around the world. The United States will speak out and act on behalf of these rights as we go," Sullivan told reporters at a White House press briefing.

While a presidential memorandum is largely symbolic, Biden campaigned on a pledge to pass LGBTQ rights legislation known as the Equality Act in the first 100 days of his administration and to make LGBTQ rights a top priority.

His campaign pledge included protecting LGBTQ people from discrimination, ensuring fair treatment in the justice system and advancing LGBTQ rights globally.

Biden is expected to make the announcement during a visit to the U.S. State Department on Thursday.

'If we did it': TIME magazine reveals the 'shadow campaign' that 'saved' the 2020 election

time election
© Ryan Olbrysh for TIME
A weird thing happened right after the Nov. 3 election: nothing.

The nation was braced for chaos. Liberal groups had vowed to take to the streets, planning hundreds of protests across the country. Right-wing militias were girding for battle. In a poll before Election Day, 75% of Americans voiced concern about violence.

Instead, an eerie quiet descended. As President Trump refused to concede, the response was not mass action but crickets. When media organizations called the race for Joe Biden on Nov. 7, jubilation broke out instead, as people thronged cities across the U.S. to celebrate the democratic process that resulted in Trump's ouster.

A second odd thing happened amid Trump's attempts to reverse the result: corporate America turned on him. Hundreds of major business leaders, many of whom had backed Trump's candidacy and supported his policies, called on him to concede. To the President, something felt amiss. "It was all very, very strange," Trump said on Dec. 2. "Within days after the election, we witnessed an orchestrated effort to anoint the winner, even while many key states were still being counted."

In a way, Trump was right.

There was a conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes, one that both curtailed the protests and coordinated the resistance from CEOs. Both surprises were the result of an informal alliance between left-wing activists and business titans. The pact was formalized in a terse, little-noticed joint statement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and AFL-CIO published on Election Day. Both sides would come to see it as a sort of implicit bargain - inspired by the summer's massive, sometimes destructive racial-justice protests - in which the forces of labor came together with the forces of capital to keep the peace and oppose Trump's assault on democracy.

Comment: Un-be-lie-va-ble. It's almost as if they want you to know they stole the election, just to rub it in your face.

Turkish interior minister blames US for 2016 coup attempt

istanbul turkey coup 2016

Hundreds of people were killed as hundreds of thousands of Turks came out on the streets - unarmed - to confront sections of the Turkish military who participated in the coup against the Erdogan government.
Turkey's interior minister has accused the United States of orchestrating a coup attempt that rocked the country in 2016, prompting a denial from Washington, which blasted the claim as unbefitting of a NATO partner.

Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu alleged the US government played an unspecified role in the July 15, 2016 coup d'etat attempt, Turkish daily Hurriyet reported, suggesting on a local television program that American officials "managed" the ill-fated takeover.

"Was it only FETO behind the July 15 coup? Did it just do it alone? No," Soylu said on Thursday, referring to the movement led by US-based Turkish preacher Fethullah Gulen, labeled the "Fethullah Terrorist Organization" (FETO) by authorities in Ankara. "It is obvious that America is behind July 15. It was FETO who carried this out with their instructions."

Comment: How interesting that the Turkish govt is restating its initial claim (that the CIA carried out the coup) now that the 'new' (old) regime is installed back in DC.

Other countries are not fooled by 'the inherent peacefulness of a Biden presidency'.

Senator Rand Paul denounces Biden's lunatic transgender sports policy

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) challenged President Joe Biden's Education Secretary nominee on his statement it is "appropriate" to allow boys to compete in girls' sports by asking, "What planet are you from?"

During a confirmation hearing Wednesday of the Senate committee that oversees education, the Kentucky senator asked Miguel Cardona if he thinks it is "fair" to allow boys claiming to be transgender to participate in girls' sports, and about how it affects girls competing in these athletic events.

"I think it is appropriate," Cardona replied. "It is the legal responsibility of schools to provide opportunities for students to participate in activities and this includes students who are transgender."

Senator proposes bill force social media users to 'report suspicious people to law enforcement' - Or face prosecution if they don't

Joe Manchin
Senator Joe Manchin wants to bring DHS's spy on your neighbors "If You See, Something Say Something" program to social media, blogs, websites, and much more. Manchin's bill, the "See Something, Say Something Online Act" would essentially turn social media users into Federal spies by forcing them to report suspicious people to law enforcement.

Just how bad is this bill?

This bill would essentially force anyone on social media to report suspicious "transmissions" to law enforcement.
"Known Suspicious Transmission. — The term ''known suspicious transmission'' is any suspicious transmission that an interactive computer service should have reasonably known to have occurred or have been notified of by a director, officer, employ, agent, interactive computer service user, or State or Federal law enforcement agency."
Major Crime — The term ''major crime'' means a Federal criminal offense that is a crime of violence (as defined 13 in section 16 of title 18, United States Code); relating to domestic or international terrorism (as those terms are defined in section 16 2331 of title 18, United States Code)

Comment: This proposed Bill is one more step being taken in creating a paranoid and divided populace who are being coerced to behave like Stasi informants. If the above isn't pathological and Totalitarian in nature, then we don't know what is.

Hunter Biden to chronicle personal demons in memoir 'Beautiful Things'

Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden, has a memoir due out April 6 which will chronicle his life and times, despite his father assuring the nation his family would not cash in on presidency.

AP reports the book is called "Beautiful Things" and will center on the younger Biden's well publicized struggles with substance abuse, according to Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster.

Acquired in the fall of 2019, "Beautiful Things" was kept under wraps even as Biden's business dealings became public before, during and after the election and his finances a matter of investigation by the Justice Department.

Comment: Even the slightest suggestion that this 'memoir' will be anything but a complete whitewashing of Hunter's trashy and criminal life is laughable. This is nothing but PR.

John Kerry says private jets 'only choice' for people like him, as he accepts award in Iceland for 'combatting climate change'

john kerry jet

Private jets emit 40 times as much carbon emissions per passenger in comparison to commercial jetliners.
President Joe Biden's climate change envoy, John Kerry, flew on a private jet to Iceland to receive the Arctic Circle award for combatting climate change, Fox News reports.

Kerry received the iceberg-shaped award in 2019 for being "a consistent voice pressuring the American authorities to commit to tackle environmental matters."

An Icelandic reporter, Jóhann Bjarni Kolbeinsson, also questioned Kerry for his choice of transportation at the time. Kerry defended his trip by saying that taking a private jet is "the only choice for somebody like me who is traveling the world to win this battle."

Comment: Ever heard of Zoom?

Comment: This is yet another opportunity for people to see the hypocrisy of Kerry and the Biden administration. And, luckily for planet earth, CO2 does not cause climate change:

The controversial Georgia congresswoman was voted off the House Education and Labor Committee and Budget Committee, with 11 Republicans joining 219 Democrats in backing the move 'in light of conduct she has exhibited'.

It comes after a storm of criticism aimed at Greene in the wake of resurfaced comments about the QAnon conspiracy theory and endorsing violence against earlier Democrats.

AOC, a sitting member of Congress, weaponized her followers in an attempt to silence a free press

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
© AP Photo/Jacquelyn Martin
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has been all over the news this week following a lengthy Instagram live in which she recounted her experiences during the January 6 riots in Washington, DC. She posted the video to her YouTube channel with the title "February 1, 2021 Instagram Live: What Happened at the Capitol."

The description reads:
My story isn't the only story, nor is it the central story of what happened on Jan 6th. It is just one story of many of those whose lives were endangered at the Capitol by the lies, threats, and violence fanned by the cowardice of people who chose personal gain above democracy. Thanks for making the space for me, and hope we can all make space for others to tell their stories in the weeks to come. And to those who wish to paper over their misdeeds by rushing us to all "move on" - we can move on when the individuals responsible are held to account.
As has been covered exhaustively, she said those "rushing" her to "move on" are using the tactics of abusers. She speculated that a Capitol Police officer who burst into her office to evacuate her because there was a suspicious package nearby might have actually been attempting to place her in danger. In other words, she thought this Capitol Police officer was part of a conspiracy to murder her and other Democrats. She repeatedly said we cannot move forward until there are "consequences" and that everything must be investigated, as if the FBI and other agencies aren't investigating.

Comment: The monumental snow-flakery and victimhood status that so many on the left seem to indulge in for the purposes of attaining power has really become pretty obvious to many - and is the reason why AOC's recent stunt is now being compared to the Jessie Smollet fraud and hoax in 2019:
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is being compared to the actor who staged an attack on himself, after her account of fearing for her life during the January 6 riot was fact-checked, exposing that she wasn't in the Capitol building.

The hashtags #AlexandriaOcasioSmollett, along with #AOCLied, trended on Wednesday, following a fact-check of AOC's (D-New York) Instagram livestream two days prior by OAN journalist Jack Posobiec. During her emotional one-and-a-half-hour-long talk, Ocasio-Cortez admitted that she was not in the Capitol building during the riot to begin with, but continued to claim that she experienced a life-threatening situation.

When Ocasio-Cortez denounced it as a "manipulative take on the right," Posobiec posted a map, with arrows pointing to the Capitol as well as two other office buildings across the road. One of them is where AOC's own office is located, and where she claimed she "thought I was going to die" during the January 6 events. Another is where she ended up sheltering inside the office of Rep. Katie Porter (D-California) after leaving her office on the instructions of the Capitol Police.

"This isn't a fact check at all," Ocasio-Cortez responded to Posobiec's post. "Your arrows aren't accurate. They lie about where the mob stormed & place them further away than it was."

She accused Posobiec of failing to show that demonstrators were trying to "storm" multiple areas, or showing "tunnels" between the Capitol and other office buildings - which to a lot of people sounded like moving the goalposts and not in line with her original description. Her post was quickly ratioed on Twitter, and the hashtag comparing her to Jussie Smollett began to trend.

[...] Ocasio-Cortez has already sought to fend off any backlash by comparing criticism to a "tactic of abusers," as she revealed she's also a "survivor of sexual assault."

This appeared to be a reference to a letter by 13 House Republicans demanding an apology from her for accusing Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and others who challenged the 2020 election results as trying to have her "murdered" by supposedly "inciting" the rioters. Her January 28 tweet targeting Cruz said she was "happy to work w/ almost any other GOP that aren't trying to get me killed."

Smollett, who AOC scored comparisons to, shot to fame in February 2019, after accusing two Trump supporters of a racist and homophobic attack in Chicago. He quickly garnered sympathy from the media, activists and Democrats such as then-senator and current Vice President Kamala Harris. When the police located the men who allegedly doused him with bleach and put a noose around his neck, they turned out to be Nigerian immigrants who said the 'Empire' actor paid them to stage the "attack."

Whatever the truth about AOC's alleged sexual assault and near-death experience at the Capitol, some critics of the progressive social media star noted that she had successfully diverted attention from problems with the government and the small investor rebellion against hedge funds.

We'll give renowned economist Thomas Sowell the last word on what makes AOC so perfectly awful:

Biden's nominee for new cabinet-level science position is Epstein-linked geneticist

Epstein and Eric Lander
CRISPR gene-editing expert Eric Lander, Biden's director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy, is awaiting Senate confirmation to serve in a new Cabinet-level position in the Biden administration. Jeffrey Epstein, the eugenicist pedophile and sex trafficker, bragged about funding Lander's research and was photographed taking part in at least one meeting with him.

Shortly before he took office, President Joe Biden announced that he would be elevating the director Office of Science and Technology Policy to a cabinet-level position, meaning that his nominee to lead that office, geneticist Eric Lander, would require confirmation by the US Senate. Lander is currently serving as director of that office, but has yet to serve in cabinet-level capacity as he awaits confirmation.

Mainstream media reports described Biden's move to place Lander in his cabinet as "meant to highlight his commitment to science," which has been used to contrast his approach with that of Trump, who was accused of second-guessing "authoritative" voices from academia and the medical establishment. Lander is deemed to be one such "authoritative" voice, having previously served as external co-chair on former President Obama's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology.

However, Biden placing Lander in this role begs the question of exactly what type of science he will promote in his new position, as eugenicist and intelligence-linked pedophile Jeffrey Epstein bragged on his website about having "had the priviledge [sic] of sponsoring" Lander's research via the Jeffrey Epstein VI Foundation. Lander's spokesperson told the New York Times in 2019 that "Mr. Epstein appears to have made up lots of things and this seems to be among them," regarding whether or not Lander had indeed received funding from Epstein.

Comment: So basically Biden is creating a more powerful post for an individual who is not only connected to the Hi-Tech/Intelligence mafia, but who also has a philosophical affinity with - and a deep and broad knowledge of - how to kill many millions of people through "science".
