Iranian defense minister predicts Trump's Jerusalem decision will speed up Israel's demise, unite Muslims

Last week's decision by the US president to recognize Jerusalem as the Israeli capital is bound to backfire, hastening the demise of the Jewish state and banding Muslims together, Iran's defense minister has said. And should conflict break out in the region, Washington will have to bear responsibility, General Amir Hatami said.

"(Trump's) move will hasten the destruction of the Zionist regime [Israel] and will double unity among Muslims," Brigadier General Hatami told a meeting of senior military officials Monday, as cited by various Iranian media outlets.

Washington's "anti-security decision," which has drawn widespread condemnation from Muslim nations and the international community, is ratcheting up tensions in the region, he said. Denouncing the move as "provocative and unwise," Hatami said the declaration could possibly mean the Middle East descending into bloodshed.

"The occupying regime of Israel knows the illegitimate actions of the US government will bring no change to Al-Quds [Jerusalem] as the Palestinian people and the freedom-loving people of the world will become more determined than ever to become united and stand up for liberation of Jerusalem and the land of Palestine," the general said, as cited by the Mehr News Agency.

McCain's "go-between" is now speaking to Fox News about the dossier, British agent Steele, and John McCain.

Sir Andrew Wood told Fox News that his mission was "to tell the senator and assistants that such a dossier existed."

After receiving the goods on the Steele dossier, it was McCain who made sure the FBI paid special attention to the dossier Woods passed off to him.

The same dossier that was used to spy on Trump campaign officials.

The same dossier that the FBI and entire Deep State would base their Trump-Russia collusion on.

The same dossier that was commissioned by opposition research firm Fusion GPS and funded by the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign.

Here's some news you may not have expected to read today.

The New Yorker, citing unnamed US and EU officials, claims that the White House will accept Assad as Syria's president until the next elections in Syria in 2021:
Donald Trump's administration is prepared to accept the continuation of Syrian President Bashar Assad's rule until the country's next presidential election, set for 2021, The New Yorker newspaper reported, citing unnamed US and EU officials, explaining that depending on the results of the next US presidential election in 2020, he might still be in power, when the incumbent US president leaves office.
Imagine that! The US, in all its supposed omnipotence, is willing to 'allow' the democratically-elected President of a foreign nation to serve out his term. Maybe Assad should send a gift to the White House in recognition of the astonishing honor that Washington has afforded him.

This report is, however, in stark contrast to what other Trump Admin. officials have been saying very recently. Earlier this year, crazed war-hawk Nikki Haley said that "Assad has no place in Syria", while Trump's Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said "the reign of Assad is coming to an end". Well, I guess not! It's possible that part of Putin's reasoning in pulling most of the Russian military out of Syria was to appease the crazies in Washington and get them to accept Assad as the Syrian president for the foreseeable future.

Starting on December 11 all Russian Railways (RZD) passenger trains will bypass Ukraine on their way to western destinations, Tass reported on December 7 citing the RZD head for passenger transportation Dmitri Pegov.

One of the main routes to be affected will be the Berlin-Moscow train, which has long been the main route used by western visitors on their way to Russia by train.

The RZD delivered on the promise to bypass Ukraine by the end of 2017, as a part of larger Kremlin strategy of a series of infrastructure projects that will cut Ukraine out of Russia's connections to its main customers in Europe.

Comment: Yet another way Ukrainian have shot themselves in the foot by buying into the West's false promises of EU membership.

People around the world are rightfully outraged by Donald Trump's recent effective handing over of Jerusalem to Israel.

Behind the scenes, out of sight, an outrageous and illegal practice continues, the alleged "only democracy in the Middle East" on a near-daily basis abducts Palestinian men, women, and children under false pretexts (or no charges at all), using sham legal proceedings to enforce prolonged, illegal, detentions.

According to October 2017 statistics by the Palestinian prisoner support group Addameer, Israel holds 6,198 Palestinians in prison (including 280 children and 58 women).

On October 27, Israeli forces abducted Ashraf Abu Rahme (36) from Bil'in, a village of around 2,000 people, just west of Ramallah. Abu Rahme's alleged crime? "Throwing stones."

McCabe cancels House Intelligence testimony, something "far more sinister" to come out in connection with Fusion GPS?

FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe abruptly cancelled his closed door testimony in front of the House Intelligence Committee as news emerged that the wife of Senior DOJ official Bruce Ohr worked for Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm which assembled the infamous "Trump dossier." Ohr was demoted last week after allegedly trying to conceal his contacts with Fusion.

Fox News reporter Chad Pergram's sources tell him "McCabe has an Ohr problem," and they believe "FBI DepDir McCabe not coming to Hse Intel Cmte tomorrow because he'd be asked about Bruce Ohr & Ohr's wife Nellie who worked for Fusion GPS," adding "something far more sinister."

Pergram also tweeted "Expect subpoenas to compel McCabe to appear this wk."

Comment: With any luck, a major swamp drain may be in the offing. Will it eventually reach Killary?

N. Korea declares military and political victory over US, calls human rights issue "nonexistent"

North Korea has declared a political and military victory over the US as it accused Washington of trying to deflect attention from its Pyongyang failures by peddling "non-existent" human rights abuses at the UN.

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) discussed the human rights situation in the reclusive country Monday at the request of the US, UK and France along with six other non-permanent member states. The session was convened despite objections from Russia and China. Beijing argued that the timing of the meeting will further inflame tensions in the region.

The meeting came days after after Pyongyang fired a Hwasong-15 intercontinental ballistic missile late November, allegedly able to strike the large parts of the US mainland, following a more than two months respite. Russia, which condemned the launch, blamed Washington for provoking North Korea to act recklessly with its saber-rattling and large-scale military maneuvers.


Comment: On the issue of US military provocation, the US just held a massive drill with Japan off the Korean peninsula that was aimed at N. Korea. Russia is absolutely correct when they blame the US for provoking N. Korea. What else are they to do when they see American fighter jets planning for war right off their coast?


Despite the warning by China's UN deputy ambassador, Wu Haitao, that the meeting would be "counterproductive" at this time, it went ahead, after ten UNSC members voted "yes" in the procedural vote, with nine required.

Is the US really a superpower or just the biggest collection of stupidity on the planet? Washington has already lost the Syrian war once. Now it is about to lose it a second time.

A few days ago the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, declared a "complete victory" in Syria:
"Two hours ago, the (Russian) defense minister reported to me that the operations on the eastern and western banks of the Euphrates have been completed with the total rout of the terrorists."
The Iranian commander of the forces which support the Syrian and Iraqi governments sent a note to the U.S. to let Washington know that any remaining U.S. forces in Syria will be fought down:
"The commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corp Brigadier General Haj Qassem Soleimani sent a verbal letter, via Russia, to the head of the US forces commander in Syria, advising him to pull out all US forces to the last soldier 'or the doors of hell will open up.'"

"My message to the US military command: when the battle against ISIS (the Islamic State group) will end, no American soldier will be tolerated in Syria. I advise you to leave by your own will or you will be forced to it."
According to reports, Russia has confirmed that Iran will stay in Syria as long as Syrian President Assad, who insists on liberating all of Syria without exception for the Americans, decides. Washington's plan to occupy a corner of Syria and revive ISIS is dead in the water, as will be all US troops sacrificed to this purpose.

Following Donald Trump's controversial Jerusalem move, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has told EU leaders there is no other place for the capital - and that the Bible proves it. As protests continue, he also urged the Palestinians to embrace "reality."

During his visit to Brussels on Monday, Netanyahu praised US President Donald Trump's recent decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and relocate its embassy, saying that it was based on the recognition of reality. The controversial decision triggered protests in the Middle East and across the globe, and was met with international condemnation. Nonetheless the Israeli Prime Minister said that the decision promotes peace, and called on EU states and the Palestinians to follow suit.

"It makes peace possible because recognizing reality is the substance of peace, the foundation of peace," Netanyahu told reporters prior to a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brussels.
