Radical American cleric al-Awlaki killed in Yemen, officials say

Sanaa, Yemen - Anwar al-Awlaki, an American-born radical cleric linked to al-Qaida who led an organization labeled as one of the most serious threats to U.S. security, was killed by an airstrike in Yemen Friday, according to the country's defense ministry and U.S. officials.

Two U.S. officials told Reuters that it was a CIA drone strike that killed al-Awlaki. A source in Yemen told NBC News' Richard Engel that three missed drone attacks targeted al-Awlaki in the past month.

"The terrorist ... has been killed along with some of his companions," the Yemen defense ministry said in a statement sent by text message to journalists earlier Friday, Reuters reported.

The Yemen Defense Ministry also announced Friday that another American in al-Qaida, Samir Khan, was killed with al-Awlaki.

A Yemeni security official told Reuters that al-Awlaki, who is of Yemeni descent, was hit in a Friday morning air raid in the northern al-Jawf province that borders oil giant Saudi Arabia.

He said four others killed with him were suspected al-Qaida members.

NBC News reported that U.S. officials had confirmed that an unmanned American drone had launched the airstrike. A U.S. drone aircraft targeted but missed him in May.

Comment: The U.S., as it has been, is able to be Judge, Jury and Executioner of people who are merely Suspects.

Back in 2008, while at Harvard Law School, Cass Sunstein co-wrote a paper titled "Conspiracy Theories: Causes and Cures" proposing that the U.S. Government employ teams of covert agents and "independent" advocates to "cognitively infiltrate" online groups and websites, as well as other activist groups that have "anti-government conspiracy theories" and his primary target is the 9/11 Truth Movement. Cass Sunstein now works for the Obama Administration. This brings us back to today. The founder of the Love Police Charlie Veitch has released a new video where he says he no longer believes 9/11 was an inside job.

In this new video, made just 11 days after Charlie attended an event his girlfriend helped organize, that brought Richard Gage from AE911Truth to Cambridge University, we see and hear Charlie say after 5 years he has changed his mind and he doesn't think 9/11 was an inside job. He thinks the Government was caught with "their pants around their ankles" just like the official conspiracy theory. Along with the video Charlie included a brief description:

So I've spent 5 years listening to the conspiratorial view - then I got the opportunity to grill the historical/accidental view of 9/11 proponents.

Where I stand now is that America's defenses got caught with their pants around their ankles. I do not think there was high level evil complicity in the events of that day. Yes, I have changed my mind.

To change one's mind when presented with evidence that contradicts one's mind, is to be scientific, logical and rational. The CIA fucked up. No-one got fired. Condi Rice lied to the commission. Bush and Cheney would not testify under oath. No-one wants to take the blame for the incompetence that killed over 3,000 people.
So to be clear Charlie is filming his own TV show and he suddenly decides after 5 years that 9/11 was just as the government said it was all along. Does anyone else smell bullshit?! Another truth seeker and radio host MistrBrit has confirmed by calling Charlie directly, that this is not a joke or a test of some sort.


Comment: Perhaps we should not be so disappointed by this truthseeker's™ auto-suspension of his critical faculties and apparent conversion experience. Charlie Veitch's ardent beliefs in anarchism and his involvement with inciting protests in the UK and elsewhere (along with his home movie escapades where he has others film him goading police and other right-wing authoritarians into arresting him) meant that he would always wind up supporting the global Zionist agenda for World Revolution and totalitarian control by, for and of psychopaths.

Jurors at the Warren Jeffs trial broke down in court today as they were played a chilling tape of the notorious polygamist instructing his child brides how to service him sexually and threatening that God would 'reject them' if they refused to have sex with him.

Softly telling five girls to 'set aside all your inhibitions', the convicted paedophile was heard giving the young girls detailed pointers during a graphic ten-minute tape played for the Texas jury.

The audiotape from 2004 was played before another, made within hours of the first, in which prosecutors say Jeffs can be heard having sex with all the girls at the same time.

In one tape, he is heard telling the girls they 'need to be excited'. Jurors also heard him tell the girls that if they refused him in what he has dubbed the 'heavenly sessions', they would be 'rejected by God'.

In France, controversy has long surrounded the existence of religious sects. But are all movements as dangerous as the country's sect watchdog claims?

In Feb. 2008, French President Nicolas Sarkozy's chief of staff Emmanuelle Mignon declared in an interview that religious sects were "not a problem" in France. This statement by the presidential advisor sparked a major controversy in the country.

Days after Mignon's controversial declaration, the French government rallied around Prime Minister François Fillon to stress that "sectarian activities are inadmissible and unacceptable" in France, and should be "fought against". To put a lid on what remains a highly a sensitive issue in France, Sarkozy declared that he had never displayed "the slightest leniency" toward sects.

Following his declaration, the French press reminded readers of Scientologist Tom Cruise's meeting with then-Finance Minister Sarkozy in 2004. Their allusion was carefully chosen, as Scientology has been dominating French discussions of sects in recent months.


Comment: Eventually in September 2009, a month before the ruling in the Scientology trial was expected, France passed a law under which it would be no longer possible to punish a fraudulent organisation with dissolution.

The spiritual supporting pillars of the world's societal structure were essentially demolished on 9/11...symbolically, allegorically, ritualistically and literally.

Imploded and destroyed. The rest followed.

It was quite a sinister "stroke of genius" and so exemplifies how these dark controllers operate. This is why the wake up to 9/11 Truth is so shocking to people's systems and they just can't handle it. It's overwhelming, which it was designed to be. And so the vast populace rolls over and buries its head back in the sand.

Nicely done, except....

Tell A Big Enough Lie

...and you'll eventually get exposed. So full of lies are these controllers it's beyond the grasp of normal sentient beings. And they revel in the power of that. It's amazing they can be so brash yet hidden in plain sight.

And these entities apparently rarely even know each other or their own ilk's identities. It's a hidden, and not so hidden, cult of non-feeling self-appointed elitist power mad psychopaths out to subdue humanity like it's some kind of a game.

A new, and really extreme, anti-cult draft law dated 30th May 2000 and unveiled on June 6, authored by MP Ms Catherine Picard and signed by all French Socialist Members of the National Assembly, was approved unanimously on June 22 in the National Assembly and now awaits approval by the Senate to become effective. The Socialist Party is the party of France's Prime Minister. The National Assembly, if anything, made the draft law worse, by changing the perimeter from a school, hospital or similar where cults cannot operate from 100 to 200 meters (making it impossible for cults to operate at all almost everywhere), allowing cities to deny building permissions to cults and allowing private anti-cult organizations to promote and become parties in court cases against cults.

These amendments were approved against the opinion of the government itself, and elicited strong reactions by human rights organizations and the mainline churches (Catholic and Protestant). As a result, Justice Minister Elizabeth Guigou (no friend of the "cults" and author of an earlier strong-worded anti-cult circular letter to courts) called for a "pause" and a re-examination before the law is approved by the Senate. In the French Senate anti-cult feelings are stronger than in the Assembly; the government, however, should be able to delay the vote.


Comment: The protestations of the mainline churches are disingenuous to say the least given their organisations' roles in fostering and funding this witch hunt against people seeking answers outside their domain. This immoral French law reads like a modern-day Ten Commandments from the same psychopathological 'God' the forebears of today's elite priesthood created to terrorise humanity with.

Wall Street saw yet another surge in protesters today - as hundreds of Continental and United Airlines pilots demonstrated in New York City's financial district.

Over 700 hundred activists, represented by the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) carriers, took their grievances to the streets as they protested for wages and benefits in light of a stalled merger between the airlines.

The demonstration coincided with the 11th straight day the Occupy Wall Street encampment, which has seen thousands of demonstrators descend onto downtown Manhattan - and hundreds arrested.

Continental's ALPA unit announced the union rally, saying the company needed to 'get serious' about negotiating a joint contract.

United officials have said they want a fair contract and have been meeting with pilots from both unions since August 2010, arguing that none of the major sections dealing with work rules, pay, scope/job protection or retirement/benefits has been resolved.

Management wanted a deal in place by the end of 2011, but said over the summer the target would be missed. No new date has been set.

Comment: The mainstream media, of course, continue to portray the protesters as few in number and composed mainly of 'anarchist' types... but the true story is very different:

Supporters of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad have thrown tomatoes and eggs at US ambassador Robert Ford as he met an opposition figure in Damascus.

Veteran politician Hassan Abdul Azim said about 100 protesters tried to get into his office as Mr Ford arrived and then surrounded it, trapping them both.

US officials said the "mob was violent" and seriously damaged embassy vehicles, but that Mr Ford was unharmed.

Earlier, Syria accused the US of inciting violence against its military.

The British government has voiced opposition to the Palestinians' statehood bid at the UN Security Council when it convenes a meeting Wednesday to discuss the request.

"While we support the principle of Palestinian statehood, we know that only a negotiated settlement can create a viable Palestinian state," Foreign Secretary William Hague was quoted as saying by The Daily Telegraph.

"No resolution at the UN can substitute for the political will necessary if both sides are to come to the negotiating table", added the Foreign Secretary.

Just days after being declared persona non grata at the Labour Party conference, Tony Blair looks set to receive similar treatment in the Middle East.

The Palestinians have lost trust in the former prime minister as envoy for the Quartet on the Middle East peacemakers, claiming he is biased towards Israel. Palestinian youth wings of the main political parties have informally declared Mr Blair persona non grata in the occupied West Bank and would not meet him there, a Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO) official said. If, as expected, the youth wings make a formal declaration about Mr Blair, it is likely to be adopted by senior politicians.

The concerns expressed about Mr Blair follow an Arab newspaper report which said that Palestinian officials are pushing for the removal of Mr Blair as envoy, citing his efforts to stop the Palestinian bid for statehood submitted to the United Nations last week. Citing diplomatic sources, the Al-Quds newspaper reported that the Quartet intended to appoint a new peace envoy to the Middle East following a Palestinian request for his dismissal, according to the political blogger Guido Fawkes, who posted a translated excerpt on his website.
