An ex-OPCW chief, sacked under US pressure, has been barred from briefing the UN Security Council about a controversial probe into an alleged 2018 chemical attack in Syria. Russia called it a "shame" and published his speech.

Jose Bustani, a Brazilian diplomat who led the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) from 1997 until 2002, was invited by Moscow to speak at a UN Security Council meeting about the so-called "Syrian chemical dossier," but his appearance was blocked at the last minute by Belgium, Germany, Estonia, France, the US and the UK.

"What has happened now is yet more sad proof that Western delegations fear the uncomfortable truth," Russia's ambassador to the UN, Vassily Nebenzia, stressed while addressing the UN global body on Monday.

He said the six countries had "made history" because the Security Council has never voted "on the presence or absence of a briefer proposed by the [UNSC] president." Prohibiting the former OPCW director general from speaking was a "shame and disgrace," Nebenzia concluded, promising to publish Bustani's statement after the meeting.

A Taiwanese man detained in China and accused of "endangering national security" appeared on Chinese television Sunday evening, admitting to illegally filming military exercises in a city bordering Hong Kong during protests there last year.

Relatives of Lee Meng-chu had said he went missing after crossing from Hong Kong into Shenzhen on August 19, 2019.

Hong Kong was then in the throes of months-long mass demonstrations against a law allowing extradition to China, the territory's government and the central government in Beijing.

At the time, thousands of Chinese military police had gathered in a stadium in Shenzhen for exercises with armoured vehicles.

The manoeuvres had fuelled speculation that China was going to deploy its forces to intervene in the Hong Kong unrest.

"I took my phone to record some videos," Lee said in the CCTV state television report on Sunday, interspersed with scenes from his alleged actions.

"I am sorry. I have done a lot of bad things," said Lee, his hair cropped short, wearing a blue shirt and an orange vest with his prisoner number.

A radical movement called the Great Reset embraced by some Democrats poses a grave threat to liberty and free markets in the United States and around the world. While former Vice President Joe Biden hasn't endorsed the movement, his ties to it are growing as he changes his long-held policy views to appease the far-left.

While it hasn't gained widespread attention, the Great Reset is perhaps the biggest danger to capitalism and individual rights since the collapse of the Soviet Union.

What is the Great Reset? Simply put, it's a growing movement backed by many of the world's most powerful business leaders, government officials and left-wing activists that aims to "push the reset button" on the global economy. It would destroy the current capitalist system and replace it with progressive and modern socialist systems, with a special emphasis placed on eco-socialist policies like those contained in the Green New Deal.

Comment: Yet another strong indication that Biden is largely a puppet for economic, political and social Globalist policies and interests that seek accrue more power to centralized organizations and forces. In an interview with Fox News on Sunday, President Trump said he would take a "good, strong look" at whether UFOs exist.

"Sunday Morning Futures" host Maria Bartiromo asked Trump point-blank whether the objects exist, to which the president replied, "Well, I'm gonna have to check on that. I mean, I've heard that. I heard that two days ago, so I'll check on that. I'll take a good, strong look at that."

In June, the president's son Donald Trump Jr. asked his father if he would let us know if there are aliens, adding it's "the only thing I really want to know" and if he would ever "open up Roswell and let us know what's going on there."

"So many people ask me that question," the president told his son at the time. "There are millions and millions of people that want to go there, that want to see it. I won't talk to you about what I know about it but it's very interesting. But Roswell is a very interesting place with a lot of people that would like to know what's going on."

When pressed further about declassifying information about Roswell, the president said, "I'll have to think about that one."

President Trump had expressed skepticism of the existence of UFOs in previous interviews.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has paid an unexpected visit to a detention center in Minsk, meeting incarcerated members of the so-called 'Coordination council of the opposition'.

The unusual move was reported by local media on Saturday, with a short video from the meeting emerging on social media later in the day.

Members of the opposition 'council' were detained over calls to overthrow the government amid the unrest that followed the contested August 9 presidential election. The activists are currently being held at the pre-trial detention center of the Belarus State Security Committee (KGB) in Minsk. Among other things, Lukashenko touched upon the impending constitutional reform in the country, footage from the scene shows.

"Half of you, as far as I know, are lawyers, who perfectly understand that the Constitution cannot be written in the streets," Lukashenko told the opposition figures.

The whole meeting is said to have lasted for some four hours and other topics discussed have not been disclosed.

Comment: Two of the detained opposition members have now been released - transferred to house arrest. This weekend, however, police cracked down on the continuing protests, using stun grenades, water cannons, and detaining over 20 journalists.

Today, police threatened to use live bullets for the first time since the protests began.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has promised that, once the coronavirus crisis is over, he intends to "build back better" for future generations.

It's a catchy, fine-sounding, optimistic phrase but it's not one he invented himself. And its meaning, unfortunately, is a far cry from what you might hope to hear from a Conservative prime minister rebuilding a wrecked economy.

Some well-informed Americans may be aware of China's horrifying "Social Credit System" that was recently unveiled as a method of eradicating any dissent in the totalitarian state. Essentially freezing out anyone who does not conform to the state's version of the ideal citizen, the SCS is perhaps the most frightening control system being rolled out today. That is, until you consider what is coming next.

Unbeknownst to most people, there appears to be a real attempt to create a system in which all citizens are rationed their "wages" digitally each month in place of a paycheck, including the ability to gain or lose money. This system would see any form of dissent resulting in the cut off of those credits and the ability to work, eat, or even exist in society. It would not only be the end of dissent but of any semblance of real individuality.

Here's how the Social Credit System operates in China.

First, however, for those who are unaware of the Social Credit System as it operates in China, we should briefly describe just what has taken place there. The Social Credit System in China isn't merely a punishment for criticizing the state as is the case in most totalitarian regimes, the SCS can bring the hammer down for even the slightest infraction such as smoking in a non-smoking zone.

Billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates says that life will only return to "normal" once there is widespread adoption of a coronavirus vaccine and that this will not happen until the end of 2021 at the earliest.

Gates said that the end of 2021 is a "best case scenario" and that it remains unknown whether a successful vaccine will even be produced.

"We still don't know whether these vaccines will succeed," said the Microsoft founder. "Now the capacity will take time to ramp up. And so the allocation within the US, and between the US and other countries will be a very top point of contention."

Despite positive signs in the development of vaccines in Russia and China, Gates doubted whether these would ever be made available internationally.

The Michael Moore-produced Planet of the Humans faced a coordinated suppression campaign led by professional climate activists backed by the same 'green' billionaires, Wall Street investors, industry insiders and family foundations skewered in the film.

It is hard to think of an American film that provoked a greater backlash in 2020 than Planet of the Humans. Focused on the theme of planetary extinction and fanciful proposals to ward it off, the documentary was released for free on YouTube on April 21. The date was significant not only because it was the eve of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, but because a global pandemic was tearing through America's social fabric and exposing the human toll of the country's globalized, growth-obsessed economic model.

Even before Planet of the Humans was released, however, the producers of the film had fallen under pressure to retract it. Upon the film's release, a who's who of self-styled climate justice activists proceeded to blanket the internet with accusations that it was a racist, "eco-fascist" screed that deliberately advanced the interests of the oil and gas industry. When Planet of the Humans was briefly yanked from YouTube thanks to a questionable copyright claim by an angry climate warrior, the free speech organization Pen America issued a remarkable statement characterizing the demands for retraction as a coordinated censorship campaign.

Sky News host Rowan Dean says the next World Economic Forum in Davos has morphed from a "jet-setter climate gabfest" into a sinister "anti-democratic enterprise designed to destroy your job, steal your prosperity and rob your kids of a future".

"It's a hardcore leftist eco-horror show replete with quasi-fascism," he said. Mr Dean highlighted what he described as a "disturbing trend among many of the world's left-wing elites to increasingly conflate COVID-19 with climate change. Many are going so far as to suggest that all the measures applied to the coronavirus, the lockdowns, the destruction of businesses, the suppression of dissent, curfews, strong-arm police tactics, should become the 'new normal' for dealing with climate change."

Mr Dean said the next World Economic Forum is planning "to convince governments with the help of big businesses and big tech to bring about something deeply sinister called 'The Great Reset'. It is a program designed to strip us all of our fundamental democratic rights in favour of a new form of society as dictated by the elites."

Mr Dean said the advertising for 'The Great Reset' was "just about as cliched and vomit-inducing as the most inane corporate ad can be. This promo is saying that all the very worst things in the world, from the coronavirus to bushfires to riots to pollution to poverty are somehow linked. Then it is claiming they can magically disappear. Literally at the push of a button and just like that, everything in the world is made right and pure again. The Great Reset. What could be simpler?

Mr Dean said ultimately "lunatics including Prince Charles and the United Nations and the IMF want to replicate the global response to COVID and repurpose it for climate change, to enforce zero net emissions."


Comment: Schwab indeed sounds clownish. And yet he is head honcho when 'the Davos set' meet annually. He is also a retired member of the Bilderberg Steering Committee.

It's all (pretty much) out in the open now (which is why it's 'safe' for a Rupert Murdoch-owned media corporation to air such 'conspiracy theory' dissent).

Covid-19 was never about Covid-19, which is just another mild respiratory illness (albeit one that appears to have begun its life as a half-baked genetically-modified lab virus).

Covid-19 is about 'the climate agenda' - inducing, corralling or otherwise enforcing total compliance with 'global governance', their preferred term for One World Government.

Quite where the orders emanate from is not yet clear, but it is clear - given that diverse national governments are rolling out precisely the same lunatic 'Covid-19 measures' in lockstep with each other - that the orders are centrally disseminated.

Regular readers know that we have been warning about the likelihood of increasingly extreme weather and increasing numbers of meteor fireball events presaging a period of global mayhem - possibly culminating in ice age conditions - in which all will feel the effects of food shortages and systemic upheaval.

If we have known about this for the last two decades, then it's a safe bet that they have some idea of what's coming. There are differences of course; throughout, they have been telling only half-truths (which amounts to lying by omission): climate change isn't man-made, and its effects won't be felt 50 years hence when some coastal cities gradually submerge under warming oceans.

No, it's a natural cyclical phenomenon, and its effects are ramping up now. While they continue to lie by omission and cloak what they know in ideological verbiage, the 'elites' at the very least are united by a sense of urgency in 'doing something now, before it's too late'.

But their 'solutions' to anticipating the coming threat to their lofty positions are entirely self-serving. They seek to 'lock it all down' in order to - they believe - be able to 'better manage' the crisis when it fully develops in the coming years. Covid-19 is about 'training' the population, ahead of time, to believe that only dependency on government can 'save' them...
