Warsaw is currently developing a draft proposal that would allow the EU refuse visas to Russian travelers, Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Piotr Wawrzyk told the nation's PAP news agency on Sunday. A decision on the matter can be expected within the coming weeks, he added.

The deputy minister did not elaborate on the exact details of the proposal, which is still in the works, but said that its purpose is to head off the potential resistance of some key EU members that are likely to oppose a blanket visa ban on all Russians.

Poland is in favor of suspending the 2007 agreement between Brussels and Moscow on "the facilitation of the issuance of visas" altogether. This treaty regulates the issuance of visas "for an intended stay of no more than 90 days per period of 180 days" for the citizens of Russia and the EU.

Yet, according to Wawrzyk, not all EU members are on board with such an initiative. "This is opposed by large member states, including Germany, France and the Netherlands," he said. Since it is "impossible to overcome the resistance of these countries to suspend the agreement ... Poland is working on a new solution," he added.

Richards Marles has reaffirmed Australia's commitment to the one-China policy as Canberra moves towards "stabilising" its relationship with Beijing.

Speaking with Sky News Australia's Kieran Gilbert on Sunday, the Defence Minister and acting Prime Minister said Australia's principal motive was to see a "de-escalation of tensions" in the region.

"What we want to see is a return to normal peaceful behaviour what underpins that, from Australia's point of view, is not wanting to see any unilateral change to the status quo across the Taiwan Strait," he said.

President Vladimir Putin of Russia says Moscow is ready to sell advanced weapons to its allies across the world and cooperate in developing military technology, as the war between Russia and Ukraine nears its sixth month.

Addressing the international military-technical forum Army-2022, which takes place at Patriot Congress and Exhibition Center outside Moscow, Putin insisted that Russian weaponry is years ahead of the competition.

Russia cherished its strong ties with Latin America, Asia and Africa, "and is ready to offer partners and allies the most modern types of weapons - from small arms to armored vehicles and artillery, combat aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles", the Russian leader said on Monday, adding, "Almost all of them have been used more than once in real combat operations."

Soon after Nancy Pelosi's recent descent on Taiwan, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called out Nicholas Burns, the U.S. ambassador to China, for "keeping an embarrassed silence" regarding Madame Speaker's "brash and insolent stunt." Burns' silence was quite a change from a mere month back at the World Peace Forum in Beijing, where he "demanded that China stop supporting the war in Ukraine or relaying 'Russian propaganda'." Even more brazenly, Burns used that opportunity to flatly accuse the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson of "telling lies about American bioweapons labs, which do not exist in Ukraine."

But that was then and this is now in the West's "rules-based order," where each occasion requires a new set of rules. Thus, it goes without saying that, for the time being, Burns is also keeping an "embarrassed silence" about another potentially tectonic event - the latest, even more damning evidence of the work of U.S.-run biolabs in Ukraine offered by the Russian Defense Ministry on August 4, including involvement in the Covid-19 pandemic, highly suspicious U.S.-funded research of the monkeypox, West Nile fever and African swine fever pathogens, and even U.S. involvement in the death of ex-Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez.

The reason for Burns' silence is not difficult to discern: since the "free" Western mass media have massively ignored the latest proof that Victoria Nuland's March reluctant admission that the U.S. was indeed running "biological research facilities" in Ukraine was just the tip of the iceberg, neither Burns nor any other U.S. official are going to do anything to force their "free" /media to even broach the subject. And now that Twitter has suspended the Russian Foreign Ministry account for daring to quote key parts of the Russian defense ministry's sensational presentation, Burns and company don't have to say anything at all. If it's memory-holed by the "free" social media, then it must not exist. At least until such time that it can be properly "genetically engineered" and made "safe" for consumption.

That's the modus operandi of the West's holier-than-thou liberal "elites" - it's not the truth that matters but successfully managing the hypocrisy so that it doesn't appear too painfully obvious even to minds numbed by the sheer inanity of Western mainstream narratives. Or to paraphrase former Clinton advisor James Carville's snowclone about the economy - it's the West, stupid. They think they can do whatever they want.

​ Former President Donald Trump on Sunday called for the Justice Department to return the reams of documents FBI agents seized at his Mar-a-Lago resort last week, pointing to a report that said the information was covered by attorney-client or executive privilege.

"Oh great! It has just been learned that the FBI, in its now famous raid of Mar-a-Lago, took boxes of privileged 'attorney-client' material, and also 'executive' privileged material, which they knowingly should not have taken," Trump said on his Truth Social site.

"By copy of this TRUTH, I respectfully request that these documents be immediately returned to the location from which they were taken. Thank you!," the former president said in the posting.

The World Health Organization (WHO) is moving ahead with plans to enact a new or revised international pandemic preparedness treaty, despite encountering setbacks earlier this summer after dozens of countries, primarily outside the Western world, objected to the plan.

A majority of WHO member states on July 21, during a meeting of WHO's Intergovernmental Negotiating Body (INB), agreed to pursue a legally binding pandemic instrument that will contain "both legally binding as well as non-legally binding elements."

STAT News described the agreement, which would create a new global framework for responding to pandemics, as

"the most transformative global health call to action since [the] WHO itself was formed as the first specialized United Nations agency in 1948."

Meanwhile, the World Economic Forum, African Union and World Bank — which created a $1 billion fund for "disease surveillance" and "support against the current as well as future pandemics" — are developing their own pandemic response mechanisms, including new cross-country vaccine passport frameworks.

Big Tech and media "fact checkers" also joined in on the mRNA uptake blitz campaign, with all of these forces maintaining a false reality in which FDA approved vaccines were readily available.

The Biden White House will provide Ukraine with an additional $4.5 billion, increasing the total budgetary support sent to the country since February's invasion by Russia to nearly $60 billion. These new funds will go directly to Ukraine's government.

According to Reuters, the US Agency for International Development made the announcement on Monday:

"The funding, coordinated with the U.S. Treasury Department through the World Bank, will go to the Ukraine government in tranches, beginning with a $3 billion disbursement in August, USAID, according to the Agency for International Development."

"We could end up in jail" if we disclose details of the former government's contract with Pfizer, says the country's Health Minister.

The recently elected President of Costa Rica Rodrigo Chaves last week announced the end of compulsory vaccination against COVID-19. Speaking alongside his health minister, Joselyn Chacón, Chaves said that not only are the vaccines no longer mandatory; any action taken against anyone who does not want to get vaccinated will be in violation of the law.

Chaves also called for unvaccinated workers who had lost their jobs to be reinstated and announced the launch of an investigation into the vaccine contracts the previous government signed with Pfizer-BioNTech.

Maybe they should just stick to the economy.

Despite the fact that no one asked, the World Economic Forum is now advocating for the merger of human and artificial intelligence systems to censor "hate speech" and "misinformation" online before it is even allowed to be posted.

A report published to the official WEF website ominously warns about the peril of "the dark world of online harms."

But the globalist body, run by comic book Bond villain Klaus Schwab, has a solution.

They want to merge the 'best' aspects of human censorship and AI machine learning algorithms to ensure that people's feelings don't get hurt and counter-regime opinions are blacklisted.
